An Affair To Remember Bridal & Formal Wear

The staff at An Affair To Remember went above and beyond my expectations! After shopping at David’s Bridal first, where I felt very rushed, pressured, and not cared for, we decided to make an appointment here. During my appointment it was just me, my mom and my future mother-​in-​law in the bridal room upstairs. The room is very bright and open, and has a beautiful seating area for guests. The fitting room was large, and the assistant helped me into each dress based on whether or not I asked. She never once barged in and yanked the dress up or anything (like they did at David’s Bridal). I never felt pressure to immediately purchase my gown, but I knew the moment that I put it on that it was the one for me. The dresses that they carry are beautifully detailed with only the highest quality materials. Plus, my dress came in two months earlier than expected! If I could recommend every bride in the Fayetteville, NC area to An Affair To Remember, I would without a doubt! Hands down the best bridal shop in Fayetteville.

I finally received my dress in the mail on Jan. 8 exactly 8 days before the wedding. Of course it’s extremely big and I have to get it taken it. The rush alterations came to a total of $ 150 taking the total price of the dress up to $ 400.
All of this could have been avoided if (1) the dresses had been shipped in a timely fashion to begin with or (2) the shop remedied their own mistake and shipped them overnight to all the bridesmaids.
I would suggest that you take your business elsewhere.

Super friendly, great selection of dresses, good prices! We were at the end of our rope with bad stores, bad selections & high prices, so this store completely caught me off guard in a great way! They were so friendly & helpful & genuinely seemed to enjoy helping girls find the perfect dress. The dresses were in mint condition (no missing sequins, threads hanging etc) We were in and out with a beautiful dress in less than an hour! This will be our go-​to store for prom/​evening gowns!

I made the 45 minute drive to get to this place. It’s pretty tiny and the selection was pretty small. No one greeted me or asked if I needed help with anything. Pretty disappointing. I would not recommend this shop.

Did the order back in Sep 19, pay in full. The event is schedule for 4 Oct, I went to pick up my tuxedo on the 1^st. The order all wrong, jacket wrong size and pants style not the same color and style I order. I had go to the store three times and still I still dont have my tuxedo. Now the day of my traveling I have to visit the store and see if everything was fix. Unacceptable all around. Definetely dont recommend and all this place. The only thing I like was the attitude if the lady taking all my concerns.

I found a beautiful dress for homecoming! And the employees are very friendly and they will help you with picking out and trying on a dress!

They do have interesting selections of dresses. But it sucks that we can’t take photos of ourselves in the dresses. Also back in 2010, I got ripped off for alterations. I paid in advance the $ 25 for alterations. Then after, the Hispanic lady said $ 200. I said nope. I already paid. I’ll buy a dress there again, but I won’t ever get alterations there. I really wish they were more like the Genealogy dress store where the garment bags were legit, and not plastic from the dry cleaners.
