I had the fries with shredded beef. The fries weren’t greasy, the shredded beef was so good! Best I have ever had! I will come for this again!

Rosa’s is my go-to when I’m craving a California burrito or a torta! Their carne asada is sooooo good! Seriously the BEST Cali burrito I’ve EVER had! I take everyone here to compare, and everyone agrees. Their green salsa is crack. I feel bad sometimes asking for more, but I can’t help it, I’m addicted. It gives me life!!! Their lemonade is also super amazing! OH and their rice and beans, mmmm… lol pretty much everything here is on point! Go there!

If it was just for the food, I wouldn’t go back, but that green salsa, I can’t get it out of my head! I’m a red salsa guy, and theirs is lousy, garlicky chopped tomatoes, but the green, damn good. I will be back but only because of that!

Love the breakfast burritos. Best in town. The milanesa torta was also very good. But if you want a good carne Asada burrito you need to try Las Brisas! OMG! The best I’ve ever had.

It’s pretty okay, nothing really knocked my socks off except the green salsa. That was good. There’s a lot of competition for Mexican food around fall brook, otherwise it might fair better.

Came here with my brother and the food was excellent. Authentic Mexican Cuisine. I chose the fish taco dinner which came with 2 tacos, beans and rice. It was great and filling. The staff was kind and welcoming. Look forward to returning.

I have been going to Rosa’s off and on for 10 years. Today was the very last time I will go. The service was more rancid than the chips were. We even told the waitress how bad they were and she brought out more that were even worse. She said, oh well I guess the whole batch is bad. How about changing the oil you are frying them in? Health Department you might want to weigh in on this one. She brought out everyone’s meal except one and I said, very nicely, «oh you forgot her meal,» pointing to one of my guests(7 in all), she turned to me and said, «I’m not done!» Then she shouted from the door to the kitchen, «is this separate checks?» After our meals were delivered by someone else, she cheerfully came to say, is everything ok? No drink refills, no fresh tortillas since the chips were so awful, no nothing. Just the distant smell of a trash container nearby giving off a horrible odor. Go somewhere else, there are lots of good Mexican food places in town, I would pass on this one. Not going back!

I’m extremely disappointed with the customer service. I ordered take out just to have to warm my food twice when I got home. I asked for the owner to call me and never received a call. This was a place we would eat at least once a week. After this incident that will no longer continue. And who wants to drive back into town once you’ve gotten home and settled.

I give this place three stars because the patio has a nice ambience to it. But I found it to be expensive and the food was standard. Two enchiladas no rice or beans $ 7.50. They charged a $ 1.25 for a little side of shredded lettuce, the kind they put on the plate anyway for garnish. The shrimp on the shrimp taco was tiny and there weren’t very many of them. The salsa is good.

I have been here twice — once for dine in and once for take out — and both times I received great service. The food isn’t the best Mexican I’ve ever had but it’s good. Their green salsa is seriously the best green salsa I have ever had. I love it. It’s spicy and goes perfectly with their ranchera sauce! I put it on my taco and my chile relleno! So good! The one time I dined in, I wasn’t impressed with their red salsa as it was just tomato, onion and cilantro in a watery tomato liquid. It needs some spicing up. I do like that they are open after 8pm as a lot of other restaurants in the area close early. I will give them another dine in experience chance, so I hope the red salsa was just having an off day.

Rosa has the best healthy Mexican food. The food is not greasy and it has plenty of flavor the green salsa is the greatest. Stop by if your in to Mexican food.

My husband and I have been taking our family here for dinner for 16 years! The place is small but we have never waited for a table even when it rains and the patio is closed. The servers are friendly and make a point to make sure you are taken care of. My kids are very comfortable asking for special requests, no matter how picky, and always receive it that way! The food: The complimentary chips and salsa you receive with in seconds of sitting down are endless! The green salsa is pretty hot, but my favorite. The chunky tomato salsa is delicious also! So delicious that two kids who hate tomato seem to always ask for more, Even though the servers know us enough to bring 2 red and 1 green salsas. they have the typical Mexican beers in glass bottles, micheladas, piña coladas and margaritas. It’s a small selection compared to other restaurants but has the basics, which is fine with us! We don’t like so many choices. The focus is not on the alcohol. I have never ordered a bad dish here! My family and I have ordered dishes from every section of the menu and everything has been great with perfect portions for the price. Their ceviches and cocktails are all delicious and have a even balance of seafood and veggies. They also have seafood soups that hit the spot in the winter! The broth is very rich in flavor and not to spicy. The chicken and beef they use for their dishes have just the right amount of flavor and no onion or other veggies added. Which is great for picky kids and adults. I hardly ever add salt or pepper to my food here. Just lemon and the green salsa. If you want to eat at a restaurant that’s not noisy, busy, or crAmped, eat here. We always feel welcomed even with new servers. We feel comfortable asking for special requests and the atmosphere is great for kids. The inside is small but doesn’t feel cramped. The patio is large and spacious and is comfortable even in the winter with the heat lamps on. If Rosas is busy and full it’s still comfortable enough to feel like your not bugging your neighbors with your active kids and they are not bugging you. I love it here and will always chose eating here over anywhere else!

The food taste is mediocre at best — presentation and quantity was pitiful. Honestly, I’m guessing that Taco Bell does a better job. However, in all fairness, it is cheap — and you get what you pay for. If you want some really good Mexican food, go over to Main Street to Las Brisas. Salsa bar has beautiful, fresh, tasty salsa. Portions are large, but the best part is the flavors! Try the Chicken Tostada at Rosa’s and then try the one at Las Brisas — what a difference! Super friendly staff, great place — yeah, it’s old, but still very charming and cute.

We only went here because we couldn’t find anything else in this tiny town. It looked pretty authentic so we decided to give it a try. It’s hard to mess up Mexican food, especially in Cali. There’s not much to say about this place. It’s dinky and the food is average. The piña colada is pretty gross and I never heard of anyone using wine for it. Beans were runny and the rice was too salty. My chicken taco was great but definitely needed more of a kick. It’s great for cheap food on the fly but I wouldn’t come here again. They were also pretty bad with giving us napkins and silverware.

TERRIBLESERVICETERRIBLEATTITUDE I got food poisoning here when I was pregnant. NEVER ever coming back. They were rude and annoyed whenever we asked for anything. We had to ask for water constantly and I have never in my life left without giving a tip. The woman serving us was so incredibly rude that I stared her in the eye as I scribbled a huge zero on the tip line. I was angry and offended at her lack of attentiveness and attitude when doing her job.

Best verde salsa around… they bring chips with red and green salsa to your table when you sit down, never can get enough of the green. Very authentic Mexican Cuisine. My favorite dishes are the machaca for breakfas and the carne asada burrito for lunch. Both are the best in Fallbrook. They have raised their prices quite a bit in the last few years so I don’t eat there as often, especially since Estrellas moved to downtown Fallbrook, but their quality is still excellent.

So far I have tried their Carne Asada burrito, Carne Asada nachos and the chicken flautas, all so amazing. I’ve never had that red sauce on my flautas taste as good as this place! Their green suave is definitely the best I’ve ever had and I usually eat red only.

I asked for a very specific meal, chicken fajita nachos with onion and queso, the lady said«yes, we can make that». 20 mins later my food comes out with a tiny bit of shredded cheese on top of chips, chicken, and onion. When I asked her about the queso she then told me they never have it. I would have went somewhere else and not wasted my time. Food was dry, awful.
