The 24 hour drive thru did not have a clue what they were doing when I rolled up around 1130pm. Not only did they get my order wrong, they had me wait about 20 – 25 minutes without any indication of what was going on with the order. Just plain unacceptable, I expect more communication from my attendant and not being ignored as a paying customer. Find the next nearest McDonalds, not this one.

This location is the slowest ever Friday 13, 2015 at 11:05 pm As we waited in the drive-thru for 15 minutes, turned of my vehicle since vehicle in front of me was going no where quickly. When our turn finally arrived, I was greeted by a young man apologizing for the long wait, then excused himself. I looked to see if others were there or if he was alone. Here is a surprise… Two girls were behind the counter, one wearing a head-set, drinking a large soda, laughing with the other girl which is trying to hide that fact she is texting in front of the equipment(chrome kitchen fixture), still sipping away as the two young men were working hard, stacking cups while waiting for the other to finish my order. Come on management and owner, watching your camera and fire lazy employees, they are not ready to handle the responsibility of working let alone at night while you are not there! This is a continuous problem any time in the evening . No matter how close your location is, i will go to the other one.

So this was the second time that I had visited this McDonald’s. My first experience was over a month ago and we went through the drive-thru. Not a good experience as it was extremely slow and the employees seemed unaware of what to do, but I chalked it up to it being a new store and management trying to work through new store issues. So today I walked into this new store. Wow what a great looking facility, it is modern and wonderful looking brand new… But as I watched the employees and the manager and the people working behind the counter I realized this place is not a polished as the new surrounding suggest. I wait for five minutes for someone to come to the counter and help me! I even motioned to the supervisor who look right at me and ignored me. I then started to really watch what was going behind the counter, there was a bunch of employees behind the counter, but the drive through was backed up 5 the reason I went inside) and they were struggling to assist customers. I realize that most of the employees behind the counter had no clue what they were doing, the restaurant had trash can full and most of the employee were standing there talking not focusing on servicing the customer. It was obvious that the employees were more focused in on anything but customer service and taking care of the food orders, and that made me think, what kind of food will I get? You also need to know, beside the drive through the store was empty, I was the only one waiting to get serviced. I realize that if they can’t recognize who’s paying for the services how are they going to recognize how to provide good food, so I left. I would not recommend going there, not if you want decent service i can not comment on the food as was there long enough to eat any.

Like Fairfield really needed another McDonald’s! Even though this location has to two drive thru’s, they are super slow! Employees are friendly though and they got my order right. Just another McDonald’s. Random but the parking lot is huge for whatever reason.

I’ve been to this«new» location several times, drive-thru only. However, on this particular day I had some extra time & have been wanting to dine-in and check out the inside. ‘Very nice! ‘Lots of space & natural lighting, great color palette, comfortable and inviting. The interior décor is pretty much standard fare, glass partitions, with a a few accents of art deco. The customer service was very good as well. The order: Sausage McMuffin Meal($ 5.09) Ice Caramel Mocha($ 2.09) *Drink upcharge — vs standard cup of coffee Photo — My order took a bit longer than usual to get, after all it was after 3:30pm and my guess was that my midday breakfast request was being prepared, «Made to order.» The sandwich was good, not overcooked, not dry, and piping hot. The english muffin was nicely toasted as well, many times I’ve found it to be overly toasted causing the bread to be too hard. I usually don’t eat the accompanying hash browns but today I made an exception… Hey, it was my first«all day breakfast» order and it too was cooked perfectly. The ice mocha was alright, a bit too much ice but that was an oversight on my part & forgot to request light ice upon ordering.(Heavy ice is pretty much the fast food standard when it comes to drink orders.) All-in-all, a pretty good dine-in experience, from the food to the service. NOW, there was a couple of things that did catch my eye, the cleanliness and garbage in the dining area. I arrived at 330pm and left @ 415pm. The restaurant was not terribly busy, it was after all 2+ hours after the noontime lunch rush. There were only three other groups in the dining area plus myself However, there were a number of tables that could’ve used a bit of bussing.(i.e. — food; wrappers; use napkins; etc) I was there for almost an hour and had yet to see anyone come out to the dining area to do a bit of «housekeeping.» As I was preparing to leave, I took my garbage over to the trash/recycling bins. I think it’s pretty awesome that McD’c is offering a «Compost» option to the mix. The garbage bin is no longer just one container with — «All crap goes in here.» Now, there are three options: Recycle — Compost — Landfill How great is that?! McDonald’s is making an effort to not just reduce the amount of garbage by recycling alone BUT repurposing the food scraps as well.(Two, cartoon sized thumbs up for the clown!) Great concept, my only concern is the follow through of the patrons. As I looked @ the overflowing«Landfill bin,» I could not help but wonder if people really understood the concept of which bin to throw their«garbage» in… «So, when in doubt — toss it in the landfill.»(Which seemed to be what most people were doing.) Photo — One thought is to have a poster sized legend near the bins, explaining which items go into its proper receptacle. I contemplated if some people understood what the compost bin was for? It might have been better to have it labeled, «Compost — Food Scraps.» Compost is basically any food product that is going to be tossed out. Compost — The product resulting from the controlled biological decomposition of organic material. It’s an excellent idea McDonald’s but maybe some educating may be in order to increase the success of such a program. As the ol’ saying goes, «You can’t clap with one hand.» After all, what good is having the available bins if they aren’t going to be utilized? I also noticed that the outside, overflowing garbage receptacles did not offer the«Recycle — Compost — Landfill» option, too bad. The idea seems to only apply inside the restaurant.(IMO, that’s half @ss. If you’re going to do it, be dedicated to it and do it right and not just where it’s convenient.) Photo — Overall, great new location that opened it’s doors just a few months ago. However, after seeing the unkempt dining area and overflowing garbage bins gives pause for concern. I would hate to see such a great looking new location slide into, «Just another mediocre McD’s,» especially with a very strong/positive response from the customers. After all, there are a number of crappy McDonalds in the area already… Do we really need one more? The customer psychology is going to take the lead of the business, «If you don’t care enough to keep your franchise clean & tidy, why should the customer?»(Business 101) I hope that the management team here doesn’t neglect the cleanliness and upkeep of this newest location, it’s already receiving a great response and has a lot of potential to kick @ss due to its great location and customer service. — Big Aloha! If there ever were fancy McDonald’s, this is it… it’s brand new and the service I received was fast & amazing. This is right near my house and I was feeling a little greedy, so I went here to get my fill. They were having some sort of event and this place was beyond packed so I went to the drive through and from the time I was in line until I got my food was about 8 minutes. I don’t have any complaints… food was hot and fresh, and friendly workers. I’ll be back for sure if the service doesn’t falter, especially for my late night snack attacks.
