Legends at Paradise Valley

Update, same day:
One of us is feeling sick after being here. It’s the only thing we had to eat today.
Alright so it pains me to write a review like this. The wait staff is incredible as well as the woman at the bar. All great and accommodating. However, we are a group of four people and two of us got our food 10 minutes before everyone else. My food looks great however, another member of our group started to eat and pulled out an impressively large strand of hair.
The woman who was at the bar took her plate immediately and had her order redone. Very accommodating.
I’ve worked in restaurants before and we always time the food to be prepared to arrive all at the same time. This isn’t how food should be served. We all got omelets. So in my opinion it’s not difficult to hold on while the rest of our tables food is being prepared.
The hair in food could be an honest mistake, and how they handled it was more than up to par (no golf reference pun intended). Thank you for that.

Good food. We mostly go here at breakfast and enjoy it. First time going here around dinner and a group people are being loud to where me and my friends can’t talk to each other because of how loud these people are. It’s not the staff’s fault so oh wells. Overall food is good and customer service is good.

With the limited recent reviews here I’d have to admit that a bar is as good as it’s happy hour, beer selection, and food. With that being said, let’s talk about the trifecta.
The happy hour is below a-​okay. Happy hour prices are a bit high but I didn’t have any expectations since… well of course, it’s location. But the beer selections were pretty good. The food… I tried their «highly recommended» Thai Wings and was a little disappointed. The sauce that makes the Thai Wings «Thai wings» was pretty thin. When I mean thin, I mean comparison to a bottled sauce.
I don’t want to go on a tangent… but do you remember Saved by the Bell? I kinda feel that vibe when walking in. Heavily influenced by the early 90’s, I’m pretty sure the HOA could afford an update. Just sayin…

After confirming with them that they had HBO and were going to show the boxing match, my group all headed off individually to Fairfield for this bar.
Except, they had lied. The hope was clearly that I would look like a bum and the group would stay and drink. I could forgive the place and award it two stars, expect I had a hot dog there while I waited for my Über to take me somewhere that did actually have the fight and it would overpriced and terrible.
But, you you like bland bars, feel free to go there. Plenty of seats!

Ordered the traditional clubhouse wrap with avocado and also the nachos. The wrap was solid, but nothing life changing. Nachos were decent but the chips were salty. Good for a quick bite after a round of golf but a bit pricy for the quality.

Granted this is a sports bar/​restaurant at a golf course, so I am not expecting a four star eating establishment… and we have eaten here many times as we live nearby. The food and service has been average or above 90% of the time. Tonight is an exception. Ordered the «prime rib sandwich». It is NOT prime rib. It is Philly Cheesesteak (i.e. shredded processed meat?). False advertising. We ordered to go, so when I called to voice my disappointment, response from manager was «sorry, will let the GM know». Really?

Legends is the spot. Always with great service. Food is above average for bar food. Waitresses are on point. Many TV’s to watch games on. Not overly priced drinks. Not much better then Legends.

My family & I attended the Mother’s Day Brunch. It was superb! Plenty of food selection and great service for an incredible price! The only reason why I don’t give them a 5 Stars is that they took our photo right before we entered and handed us Mother’s Day rose and then asked for our email address but I have yet received the photo to add to our keepsakes. I have contacted them many times for the picture and no one has gotten back to me.

Awesome game-​day or Happy hour spot.
During happy hour this place has some great options, my favorite being the French Dip Sliders. This is a brilliant idea and I get them every chance I get.
The staff is great, quick and friendly.
A great variety of beers is available and they have a full bar.
The patio is a very relaxing place to enjoy a meal and a drink or just a drink.

Happy hour menu is bad. Burrito bowl is gross with hard tri tip pieces and flavorless rice. The «corn relish» is frozen corn and there was no salsa verde at all. Took two bites sent back still charged. Tried French dip sliders, bland over cooked meat dry yuck. Nachos were ok of you ignore the green/​brown guac. Thai wings were the best of what we sampled. The shrimp are so so. Not a great place to catch dinner and a game. Too bad as we live in PV and hoped this place was decent. Oh if you like domestic beer and well alcohol drinks are discounted during happy hour. Yay.

The food is good but a tad pricey. There was 2 other patrons when we went for lunch on a Saturday. They have a nice amount of televisions so it would be cool to come during happy hour during the regular season. That is, if you were in the area… I don’t know if I would go out of my way to come here if I wasn’t golfing as well.
The spicy thai chicken wings will set you back $ 10.99. They are fried to a crispy perfection and there is close to no batter on them. They’re coated in some sort of sticky delicious napalm and in spite of their name, they’re not actually very spicy at all. I forget how many you get but its a nice amount to make a meal out of it and be set. Both my father-​in-​law as well as his wife got them. They are definitely top notch!
The club sandwich was good but my bacon kept falling out. I supposed that has to do with my hoity toity thick cut bacon preferences more so than any fault of their own. I am a bacon nazi. Their garlic fries were a hit and miss. The fries themselves were superbly cooked but the garlic was undercooked so there was a tad sting eating them and a good 2 mile coverage from vampires on the drive back. My apologies to my in-​laws on going balls to the walls on that one. Overall, the club was still a tad high priced at $ 11.99. :o
I didn’t have any of the onion rings but according to the online menu, my FIL paid $ 9.50 for a cone of onion rings? Wowzers. I hope that is a typo.
I was pleasantly surprised that kids eat free here. Our waiter offered a hamburger, cheeseburger, quesadilla or chicken fingers with fries or fruit as a side. I thought he would have gotten a slider and a small side of fries but what came out was a full sized burger and fries. He ate half of it and said it was yummy; burger, cheese, red onion, lettuce and all!

Perfect summer night here on nice, large, outdoor patio, with a band playing in the distance, right on golf course, with a great view of the sun setting… and some cougars… the human kind.

Needs an update to menu, a little tired and predictable. And also too expensive for quality and quantity of food. $ 30 for two for lunch is too pricey. Salads are tired, tacos very average, and sandwiches uninspired. Please get your act together!!!

No stars Legends!!! I came here 2 weekends ago after coming here for over 2 years. NEVER AGAIN. When I got here, I discovered that my friends hadn’t been served for over an hour and when I sat down for about 45min still no service they finally came to help us she was very rude then she got mad cause we complained about the food (wings) I told her they was over cooked very dry. We complained then since we Unilocal it the owner told the workers that we can’t come back NEVER AGAIN. Taking my group and money somewhere else

What happened to this place and the friendly service? I have been here before and me and my husband had great service when we played on the course. I actually Unilocaled in favor of this legends but after a recent visit I am sad to say my opinion has changed. The girl working in the morning was so rude to my husband, it felt like we were an inconvenience to her. It doesn’t matter how good the food or drinks were. If the service stinks, the whole experience is ruined. The bar seems good. Service is fast and friendly on that side. You just won’t catch us in the restaurant early in the morning!

Love this place! I didn’t expect the food to be good but everything I’ve tried so far is delicious. Not to mention it’s right in our neighborhood so we don’t have to travel far and they never have a wait time.
They have TV’s all around and pretty much have all the games on. The servers a also pretty friendly.
Go check it out!

Really laid back here and good size servings of drafted beers. The table service is slow, so it’s better to actually sit at the bar.

Legends is the spot. It has led me to the doghouse on countless occasions. But I will always have a soft spot for this place. The waitresses are always very nice, service is quick, food is surprisingly extremely good, prices are reasonable, TVs are large and plentiful… what more could you ask for? Except obnoxious BANDWAGON poodle-​ass Niner fans on football Sundays… AIN’T NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT.

When my father golfs, we get lunch from here.
I’ve had the chicken strips, the cheeseburger, and the grilled cheese.
The grilled cheese is my favorite.
The burgers good too, just… my mouth… it is small… the burger… it is large.
The fries are effin’ delicious too.

This review is for the bar and the food they serve.
What they have on tap is good and varied. Their bartenders definitely know their craft and are really friendly. We usually go here on a Friday and their pitchers aren’t bad for the price.
You should order the food here with your drinks. I had the pulled pork sandwich and really liked it. It was different because they put slaw on top and it makes for a great texture and taste.
I will definitely keep ordering food and drinks here.
