The Barista working the day I came in was very friendly and attentive. WIFI is free, you could read your book(s) or study while you enjoy a drink and a snack, and it’s fairly quiet. There is plenty of seating in this small café and sometimes you don’t even have to buy a drink! Just sit down on an empty table and read! No problems here :)

This place is nice to kickback and read that book that you just bought! They serve most of the Starbucks drinks you would normally find and they have a large selection of food like pizza, pastries, sandwiches and even chicken tenders! Seating is spacious inside and outside as well. The only reason why this place is getting a 3-star rating is because the café does not have any outlets. I’m always looking for a legit coffee shop or café where I can grab a cup of joe and just sit down for a few hours to study so outlets are really important to me(my laptop only lasts like 1.5 hours before I need to charge up). Service is a tad slow so be aware of that as well.

I really like this place. You can get your drink and after your done look at books. A fun time waster. A fun date place if you didn’t make plans together.

I had a very bad experience in this Starbucks today. I am an instructor for a non profit organization who helps developmentally disabled individuals. We went to Barnes & Noble as we have done for the past two years and looked at books and magazines. I am a member of Barnes & Noble because I buy so many books for my students. We entered the adjoining Starbucks as we have done many times. The difference this time, was that we had a lot of bags from shopping and some lunch bags as well. When I went to obtain an additional chair for our table, I was approached by a manager who blocked my path. She told me that we would have to leave this Starbucks as they have a policy of not allowing people to eat food that is not from their establishment. She said we were welcome to eat on their patio(it was approaching 90 degrees outside). I asked her if she was from Starbucks or Barnes & Noble. She stated that it made no difference as they are both the same in this location. I was outraged at this treatment of me and my students and went to the Barnes & Noble counter to tell them that I was going to cancel my membership. The manager of the Starbucks followed me. I explained to this manager and to the Barnes & Noble clerk that when I bought my membership I was told that both myself and my students could come into the store and the adjoining Starbucks as we please, and that we are always welcome. The irony of this situation is that we had planned to purchase cold coffee drinks(as we have done each and every time we have entered their establishment to the tune of $ 25 — $ 30). In fairness to this manager, I will say that I did not tell her that we planned to purchase something. I was simply too upset. The manager assumed that we were going to eat our own peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and leave. Perhaps telling her of our intent to purchase might have made a difference, but why would we have wanted to stay there after we were very boldly asked to leave? My students are too upset about this to ever return to this Starbucks. When I returned to our program, I reported this to my manager who gave this Starbucks manager a phone call. The manager further insulted us by telling my manager that we had purchased Chinese food and were opening it at our table. That was an outright lie! This manager also gave us a bunch of phony telephone numbers and names when we told her we wanted to talk to a higher authority. Despite this negative experience, my hat is still off to Starbucks Corporate. We finally got through to the right person. They took our complaint and are sending us a $ 25 gift card to use at another location. They will take this up with their district manager. I would not recommend this location to anyone who wants to be treated with tact.

I am giving Starbucks in Barnes & Nobles 4 stars. The drinks are pretty good, but you can’t use your Starbucks card or account there. It is a convenient spot to read books/study while drinking/eating. Also has food a couple of stores down.

I came here on a busy day but the line moved quickly! Seating was limited since they were so busy, but we found seats right away. I got a doppio espresso and oatmeal. They were out of brown sugar but the staff let me know ahead of time and asked if I still wanted it. The oatmeal was a bit dryer than I expect from Starbucks but it was still good. Doppio was on par with standard Starbucks quality, satisfactory.

Barnes & Noble Café has a relaxed, warm atmosphere. You can read and take your time. Many students study there. If you bring your laptop, be sure it has a good charge cause there aren’t outlets. Remember too that they serve Starbucks coffee but don’t take Starbucks card. The staff are very helpful and they have free ice water and cups for the public.

This is my favorite Barnes & Noble Café to go to. The staff are always friendly & seem to be trained well. They always get my crazy orders right and serve the customers in a decent amount of time even when it’s super crowded. The tables are always clean and the atmosphere is great for studying. They play a good variety of music. One day I came here to study for a few hours and I got to hear the entire new Maroon 5 cd that just came out. :) I actually come here a lot to study. There are always tables available and if it’s nice out you could even chill outside. The food is great. They have Cheesecake Factory, different soups & sandwiches, a bunch of yummy desserts & pastries, and some other snacks. I have never had a bad experience coming here. Just recently, I left my laptop bag filled with my laptop, chargers, & old phone on one of the tables that I was studying at. Spencer, the manager is an angel! I was probably gone for less than 3 min. before I realized that I had left some of my things behind. When I ran back in all out of breath he came out of the back smiling with my bag! Told me he kept it safe and when I checked everything was still there. I hate writing reviews because I feel like all of my favorite places will be overcrowded but I do believe this Café deserves recognition. I am a happy customer every time I come here. :)
