I don’t know what’s going on but the past few times I’ve been here, I’ve gotten sick. Last time was a couple of weeks ago and I ended up with a gastrointestinal virus. Moral of the story: don’t eat here before finals

I’d give it a zero if I could. My son and I ordered food(some of it spicey!) and when I asked about having cups for water Maria, at the register, said they don’t give out cups. She said that that I couldn’t have water. I said that other Chipotles have cups and provide water… I went to the soda fountain to show them the did have water at the fountain. She made it sound like what I was asking for was unheard of… that I was being unreasonable for my request. I told her that I didn’t want to be forced to buy a beverage that I don’t drink. I asked to speak to the manager. Tatiana, the manager, then told me I couldn’t have water because they ran out of cups. Maria didn’t mention anything about running out of cups… just that I couldn’t have water… and that I was being unreasonable for requesting water. I told Tatiana that it wasn’t fair that I would be forced to buy one of their drinks, when I don’t drink soda or pay for bottled water when I should be able to have water for free… since all other stores offer this. I asked her what was I supposed to do? She acted like I was bothering her with my request. She was not nice and was defensive. She said again that they didn’t have cups. I’ve been around food service companies long enough to know that someone could’ve run out and bought cups when they noticed they had none… customers should not be penalized for poor management. Where are those pro-active workers out there who know how to identify a simple problem and take action to solve it? Can’t they see and identify a problem and remedy it or are they too lazy and would rather chat among themselves than care how their restaurant is operating or how customers are being treated? I suggested to Tatiana that she give us a bottle of water for free, since it’s not my fault they don’t have cups. And, since my son and I had nothing to drink. She said they have cameras and she couldn’t do that. I know other restaurants would have done this to make sure their customers had something to drink. Clearly Tatiana would rather sweep the floors, since that is what she was doing, than make sure she has cups. She was so rude and uncaring about my VALID concern, or the fact that we had nothing to drink, that I did say she was acting like a bitch. She was quick to tell me that I was the bitch and scurried away with her broom. She is clearly too unprofessional to be a manager. Even if a customer has a valid complaint there is no reason to call them a bitch… and Maria at the register was also ganging up on me… Taunting me… saying…“You called her a bitch first”. What is this? Middle school playground behavior because they don’t know how to help customers? And, the customer is the bad guy because they don’t know how to do their jobs and have cups… This is the worst Chipotle location. Another reviewer mentioned that he noticed this one barely has lines when he goes in… yes, because if others were treated as I was treated maybe they’ve decided to go elsewhere, too. I have never been treated this poorly at other Chipotles. These people are arrogant and defensive and know nothing about customer service!!!

I usually love chipotle and being a chain restaurant, I would think the food and recipe would always be the same no matter the location. Consistently however, every time I have gone to this particular location, the food is super bland. Why not just follow the original winning recipe? The food also does not look fresh and they are super slow. I’ve never seen a chipotle where one person is making the bowl from start to finish and the cashier is gone from the register for long stretches at a time between each customer. I just moved to Fairfax and this is literally one minute from my house, but I’ll be searching for a new location.

Love chipotle, had toyed with idea if doing taco bell for lunch but decided chipotle isn’t that much longer a walk and is healthier. I can’t finish a chipotle meal ever, so much food! Always get soft tacos with chicken/pinto beans/fajita onion and peppers/cheese/hot sauce/guacamole(yes i know it is extra but i just want my guac!) great food! Thankfully lunch right when it opens isn’t a mile long line but have been there at times when it is 10 or so folks ahead in line. But they keep it moving. Great service and food although today the avocado tip was in my guacamole. Not sure what it is actually called, the stem tip thing? Anyways had to spit that out but otherwise great fresh guac. In case you haven’t picked it up i really like their guac.

I frequent many Chipotles seeing as how their food must be laced with crack to keep me coming back. This store I wanted to review and give a 5 star for because I noticed that they successfully do two things that I look for in every Chipotle. 1.) They move with a sense of urgency! They get people in and out quickly so as to prevent a long line. 2.) They actually have spoons. I am not even kidding; this is a serious thing for me. I always want a spoon to eat my Chipotle bowl with. Why would you want to use a fork to scoop up rice? It just doesn’t seem to be the most efficient way to eat. Anyways, I’ll digress. So A+ for you Chipotle @ Fairfax. You got your shit right. You got spoons, and you don’t make me wait in absurdly long lines. Also, I’ve never had a conversation with anyone working on the Chipotle food line because they are too busy. The last two times I’ve been, you guys have been fast enough to where I could actually ask you guys how you’re doing. Kudos.

They were moving surprisingly slow when I came at 8:30pm on a Sunday. I say it was a surprise because it wasn’t busy at all in there. Someone was clearly ordering for himself & another person and he was holding up the line, but isn’t that what support staff is for? Idk. You would have thought they were closing in the next 15mina the way they acted. My bowl was prepared well though, I’ve never had a complaint about my food from any Chipotle. It’s usually the service that’s lackadaisical. Myself & bf had to make the employees laugh, which ended up turning the service around to be more positive, but it seemed like they had all been working there too long that day.

This Chipotle is great in the evenings because there’s hardly ever a line, the service is quick, and the food is tasty. This is our favorite fast pick-up place if we’re shopping in Fair Lakes. One tip for the evenings: take a look at the meats before you make your choice. I think they turn over a little slower, so sometimes the steak looks dry. Order from whichever container looks the fullest and freshest. Kids meals are great here(and at every other Chipotle, for that matter). Quesedilla, two sides, chips and a drink for $ 4. If you eat in, and it’s warm enough outside, enjoy your meal on the little side patio.

I feel like Chipotle is hard to mess up; the food line is always set up the same and if you’re lucky you don’t get the tail end of rice and meats but the fresh hot bits. I got the in betweens hot and bottom of the barrel BUT I have to say the service was fantastic. I order very specifically and even preface with«I don’t mean to be annoying, but.» which is what I did when my burrito was about to be rolled; I asked the girl to mix my burrito(I don’t like a bite of rice, a bite of meat, then a bite of guac– I think it all together), she was very pleasant about it and it was mixed perfectly. Whenever I get the chipotle feeling this is the location I will be coming to.

I always eat here and the food is always good! I’m a regular here and they know what I get all the time! I wouldn’t go to another location. Being said that this chipotle is further from my house but I don’t mind driving! It’s worth the driving!

While this Chipotle is a convenient distance from where my friend lives, it’s no longer the one we will go to. We’ve been there probably four or five times in the past few months, and we consistently have the same issues. Every time we go in there, we’re immediately greeted by an incredibly rude staff(with the exception of a few people we’ve seen that stand behind the register). There’s one individual in particular there that stands out. While I don’t know his name, he’s a tall, heavyset, male that usually works the beginning of the line where they ask you if you want a burrito or bowl. Except, he doesn’t say that — he doesn’t say anything. Every time I’ve been there I’ve smiled and said hello(as does my friend) and he just stares back. One time, in lieu of speaking, he simply pointed at the items behind the counter, with absolutely no verbal exchange. The most recent time we went there(last night, 9÷19÷14) he was there again, and didn’t speak, and didn’t give a lid for the burrito bowl. When I asked if he wouldn’t mind putting a lid underneath, he walked over to grab one, and then GLARED at me the entire time he walked back over to slide it underneath. He is by FAR one of the rudest people I have ever met in the food and beverage industry, and he’s enough to make me not only not ever want to go there again, but to post this review. Service aside, the food has zero flavor. It is absolutely 100% bland, and has been every time we’ve been there. Do yourself a favor, go the Chipotle on Lee Highway. The employees are friendly, the food is warm and flavorful, and it’s only an extra five or so minutes away. It’s worth the trip.

The girl who fixed my bowl came out after she fixed it to Have a drink from soda machine with the gloves on and went back to the counter with the same gloves to serve another customers. I’m starting to question chipotle’s food safety training. :(will never come back again.

I’m pretty lucky to have this as the nearest Chipotle to me, because it’s the best one I’ve been to. With that said, I’ve yet to visit the one in Fairfax Corner, which is highly rated.

Pointless to make an online order here. They started making it when I got there despite me getting there at the time the web site told me. And there was no line for preorders, so I pissed off a bunch of cosy owners by cutting then in line Hate it when restaurants do online ordering for their own convenience, and not for the convenience of their customers

I never write I review so but I felt compelled to share my terrible experience. I have been to this chipotle twice and both times the staff was unfriendly, didn’t respond to my «hello» or «thank you», and wore a frown the entire time. The portion sizes were so small and when I asked for more chicken, I was given half a spoonful and was forced to pay extra. The two ladies making burritos spoke no English and when I asked for brown rice and no beans was given white rice and black beans. Never again. Horrible experience.

The place is clean, there’s ample parking, the staff were friendly, and the food was pretty darn good. The line wasn’t long and we were taken care of quickly, but it was pretty late in the evening. They give ample toppings/ingredients, except sometimes they tend to skimp on the meats. C’mon now… GIMMEMYMEAT!

I know that this is a chain restaurant but this one sucks butt. They never have the same employees and everybody that they do hire move very slowly and DON’T KNOWHOWTOWRAP A BURRITO!!! I mean come on its your signature item!!! Anyway I gave one star because this Chipotle never tastes like the others, very bland and always cold and they never get on line orders right. I do on line to save time duh but I decided to check my food one time and I am sooooo glad I did… I asked for White rice, pinto beans, fajita mix, chicken, corn salsa, cheese and sour cream… They only put chicken, cheese and sour cream in my burrito bowl!!! Like really how did you even miss the rice. I was livid and of course they made it over and even let me keep the original but because this isn’t the only problem with this Chipotle I’ve just given up on this location. I now go to Grand Commons, Fairfax VA and they are wayyyyyy better and closer too… None the less make this your last resort for Chipotle in Fairfax, VA…

Worst chipotle i’ve been to in the area. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE chipotle. I always have a great experience, but this particular location on this particular Sat afternoon, ticked me off. Basically the workers were slow and sloppy. Maybe it was the time of day I stopped by? Around 1:30 on a weekend – it wasn’t busy at at all. But the severs were the slowest I’ve ever encountered at a chipotle. Also, I couldn’t believe the tiny portion of meat given to me(and i’m small – i just need a reasonable amount). I asked for guac and the server scooped what was left of the guac container… no joke, it was a tablespoon of guac. I laughed and asked him to just scrape the remainder of the bucket and give it to me(no matter how brown it had gotten at this point). One glance at the kitchen in the back and you could see piled up bowls and containers that were waiting to be washed. The whole chipotle had an air of lethargy to it that was enough for me to write this sad review. I hate being negative, but if you can, avoid this chipotle. There’s another one in fairfax corner.

Located at the end of their strip between the two plaza sections. A number of subdivided seating arrangements, including pairs of tiny high tables with fixed stools. Sometimes instead of trying to cook for two picky eaters, it’s easier to cook for one sibling and cheat by getting the other sibling takeout. Too bad this is the most fail Chipotle I’ve been to. Barq’s and Sprite were tapped out in the fountain, they botched our orders to the point where I gave up trying to fix it, sib’s carnitas was bland, the rice was underdone. Only reason they aren’t getting one star is because portions were heaping.
