1st time here. It was an incredible experience, service was Awesome. I will definitely be back here. I ordered for appetizer Stacked Nachos. Wife ordered the Empandas for her app. For my dinner meal I ordered the Classic Burrito. It was pretty good too. Everything came out great. If I were You all and never been here, go some time soon and eat there because it was outstanding. Jason was our server, ask for Jason if you go, he was a very positive respectable young man that made our dinner meal time very special, thank you Jason for your excellent service and skills. Also i loved the restaurant’s art and style for set up inside, very decorative, made the atmosphere cool.

I gotta give them a five just for the chips and salsa! Too fresh and yummy. I like the atmosphere better at the one in Tysons Corner but I went there today and they had closed down. Bummer! So I jumped over here to get my fix on the way home. I had the pick two with the spinach and mushroom enchilada and salad. Their salad is huge and always fresh. I also had black beans and rice on the side. It’s one of my favorite meals and feels fairly healthy. And did I mention the chips and salsa? Yeah. That could be my meal right there.

Stopped by for happy hour to celebrate my daughters 21st bday. Had a great bartender named Wayne who took very good care of us. The happy hour margaritas were $ 3, with unlimited chips and dip appetizers. We enjoyed our stay at the bar while several servers stopped by to say hello.(One of my daughters used to work there) the staff here were super nice and friendly. I enjoyed our stay here and will go back soon.

Came here to celebrate G’s b-day. This location is inside Fair Oaks Mall, right beside Sears. It was a Friday night and the restaurant wasn’t overly packed. I’m so glad we didn’t have to wait long for a table. Hostess were sweet and friendly. Service started off a bit slow but as our food started to come out, our server was more attentive. She was so friendly and personable. I love their complimentary chips and salsa! Add some queso to that and you’re gold. I also appreciate that our server refilled our chips and salsa when we started running low. We enjoyed our entrees. They are generous with the portions. Everything came out nice and hot. I like the laid back ambiance of On The Border. Overall, we had a relaxing dinner here with good conversation.

Happy to see that OTB was finally open, and we stopped by for dinner on a Monday evening. No wait for a table at 6 p.m. It’s new, so we expected it to be a little squirrely all the way around. Food — Hit or miss. The beef taco and empenadas were great; chicken tinga was bland. Chips and salsa were tasty. They offer several weekly specials — two enchiladas for $ 6 on Monday, Taco Tuesday, etc. Service — A little disorganized. Our server was friendly and trying hard, but our order was mixed up and it took forever to get our check. When we did, it was wrong and a manager had to fix it. She forgot and ended up swiping our card for the full amount, so the whole thing had to be redone and took way too long. Atmosphere — Looks like a small patio will be nice in the summer, and the bar area wasn’t too crowded for happy hour. Both tables/chairs and booths. If you can avoid it, don’t sit at a table near the kitchen — it was noisy. It is interesting to compare OTB to the new Chuy’s in Fairfax City. I think the prices at OTB are better, but Chuy’s wins in the food and service comps for now.
