Northshore Apartments & Condos

I was apartment searching for a few months and came across Andy & Eric who have been very helpful with the entire process. Andy ended up showing me a unit that just became available and I was really coming to see a different one. Needless to say I am so very thankful that he did show me the newly available one it was the perfect set up despite not having much yard space. We are set to move in a few days and I will update if anything changes. But at this point I would recommend Northshore Apartments & Condos to anyone. I have even talked to the previous tenant who also had good things to say about the company.

I will be moving into a building managed by Northshore Apartments & Condos at the beginning of May 2015 and the process has been very smooth so far. We were shown about 4 units and liked two of them. Andy was respectful of current tenants and they seemed to have a great relationship. We ended going with one and did not feel pressured at all. Both, Andy and Eric have been great! They are respectful of appointment times and have always been on time when it came to a showing, lease signing and everything else. I expect key pickup and everything else to turn out the same way as they have been very professional and courteous up to this point. I will update this after move-​in.

My roommates and I dealt with Eric for our apartment, and while he seems nice at face value, you can’t trust a single word he says. He told us the tile in the bathrooms were going to get replaced. That didn’t happen and when we brought it up with the company we were told «who is Eric? Eric is nobody.» He told us we could unofficially sublet and that the building didn’t mind because it’s used to college kids doing it. We received a letter a few months later saying summer subletting isn’t allowed under any circumstances. He told us the place would be cleaned before we moved it. It was filthy and cost hundreds to clean. He said we were all set on the lease, only to later tell us we had to divulge personal financial information that we hadn’t initially agreed to. As soon as I contacted him about any of these issues he was off the map, not answering his emails or anything. Don’t trust him.

I don’t know what Anne is talking about. My girlfriend and I were looking for a place in Evanston and Andy, Eric, and Polly helped us out big time!
The first apartment we looked at got grabbed before we could get it, but Northshore made sure we were able to see other places in the building. We kept running into roadblocks, current tenants deciding not to leave, etc. But the helpful people at Northshore kept taking the time to show us place after place to make sure we found one we liked.
My girlfriend and I just signed our lease for a great place! We could not be more thankful for all the help and courtesy from Northshore Apartments & Condos.

Can’t stand this company, they are absolutely horrendous especially Eric. Eric is completely unorganized, rude, and pushy. Can not wait to stop dealing with this company. It’s such a shame that one person can be so toxic.
