The Taffy Shop

I’ve been coming to Estes Park for years now. I’ve tried all the Taffy shops in town several times over. I have to say it’s hands down the best in town! Not only is it the best Taffy product in Estes, but the customer service alone would keep me coming back! They are so helpful and friendly, and they truly value each customer that comes through their door! Give them I try, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I stumbled into The Taffy Shop after hiking in Rocky Mountain national park. The old school taffy puller in the window caught my eye, so we decided to look inside. With so many places that sell sweets lining the streets of Estes park, I figured that it was probably no different than all of the others. We were offered a sample, and from the minute that I held that first little taffy in my hand I knew it was going to be amazing. It was honestly the best piece of taffy that I’ve ever had! It was so fresh and light; the texture was incredible! I tried salted caramel and my husband tried cherry. We knew we had to take some home, and ended up leaving with a bag stuffed with vanilla, salted caramel, cherry, raspberry, and peach. The vanilla was uh-​mazinggggg and my only regret was not buying more! I’m already looking for another excuse to head to Estes park so we can get more taffy!

Seriously, hands down, the best taffy on the planet. Nothing else compares. The flavors are spot on and taste exactly as it should. So many favorites to list. Went in and bought a medium box, started walking around town, realized we might run out and wouldn’t have any to bring home. So we went back and bought a large box. Staff were super and beyond nice and helpful and patient. It’s been about five years or so since we were last here and I knew immediately this was the right place. There are other places in Estes that self taffy but, believe me, they taste like wax and offer no flavor.
Just go directly to The Taffy Shop and you won’t be disappointed.

Yeah, I am a giant taffy fan. I sat and watched the guy pull taffy for a full 5 minutes. A very nice young lady was behind the counter and let us sample pretty much everything. We ended up buying a medium box of assorted flavors — lemon, cinnamon, and Carmel.
Even though the place was really busy, the employee behind the counter took the time to answer a few questions I had about taffy pulling. Great place, nice staff, and taffy. Not sure how much the box of taffy cost, but didn’t really care — it’s taffy!
