BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! Do not do business with this greasy scam artist. Most of his stuff is just replicas, if not all. His name is just as fake as his jewelry too! He also lies about being hooked up with the BBB. He should know we can check that. I did, he’s not… Unless it’s under his real name and not his fake name«Brian Smith», he isn’t registered with them whatsoever. We bought an engagement ring and he said he’d have it sized and deliver it personally that same week because he was going grocery shopping in Denver, closer to us. My husband had been mugged and almost died. We also miscarried a baby and I’m going thru a breast cancer scare now with heart issues. This meant so much to us. We couldn’t afford it when we got married, due to medical bills. This was supposed to be a new start for us to celebrate. We were so excited. He said he’d email cuz he doesn’t have a phone??? His shops does… Use your shop phone idiot! It’s called customer service! We ran into him again the next day, we were about to head home. He was acting strange and not too happy to say hi. We were like little kids on Christmas. We asked about the ring and he said he was heating up whatever he needed to get it done right then. And again he said he would email. But we waited and waited… And waited and waited for that email. He never even mailed to say it was delayed. Unprofessional and unethical. He sure took the money out of our account that week though. We had to cancel our mini wedding because of this. We had no ring. He RUINED one of the happiest days of our lives. After the year we had had especially. We really needed this. He became extremely hard to get a hold of after we got home and noticed we weren’t getting that email from him. My hubby finally got him and he said he would email that night to give the details of delivery. Stayed up late watching for it… AGAINNOEMAILCAME! We talked to my dad who’s an attorney and he wanted to look at the receipt. I’d put it in my wallet right when the scammer gave it to me. I’d say Brian Smith instead of just scammer, but that’s his FAKENAME. I pulled out the receipt that he had so kindly had written out and folded, then handed to me. I unfolded it to discover exactly why he had folded it for me. He wrote NOPURCHASEINFOONIT!!! He even admitted to doing this on purpose to my husband!!! Greasy! We tried calling and he wouldn’t answer. So we power called him. Finally an answer and magically it was supposedly done. …then why no email you unprofessional greasy dirtbag pos? He ruined so much at this point I’m disgusted and heartbroken. I don’t even want the ring. If I get it, I’m taking it to be appraised at my parents jeweler and then selling the stupid thing. Unless it’s one of his knock offs he lies about, then it’ll be small claims. It now has this awful stigma thanks to this idiot. Everyone wants a great story with their engagement ring. Mine would be awful if I kept it, plus now it just has so many bad memories attached. I can not believe how unprofessional and unethical this guy is. I pray he quits preying on people on vacation in Estes. It’s so beyond disgusting. No wonder he uses a fake name. His supposedly Italian family is probably so so ashamed that he is a criminal. I’m just so shocked, amazed, disgusted and in tears over this. There will be more to this review when I can update. He ruins things for people. Read the other reviews! And plz notice his good reviews don’t come from actual customers. Apparently if your baby loses it’s hat there, he will ship it out asap but not the jewelry from his store. So so very greasy and sketchy! Stay away from this game player. I don’t want anyone else to get their hearts broken! Update: my husband power called him and all the sudden the ring was done. We had been jerked around by «Brian smith» so much that my husband took off right then and drove to get it. I was too sick to go with. The owner was a jerk the whole time. I could hear the whole convo after he got home. Then my hubby gets down on one knee to give it to me; this idiot scammer never sized it! He lied AGAIN! It spun around my finger and fell off. This ring has been such a nightmare I don’t even want it anymore. I’d rather get my money back. I look at it and just cry. I’ve reported«Brian smith» to the BBB. He shouldn’t be allowed to do this to people. He ruins really amazing moments in your life. And he doesn’t care at all. Greasy greasy greasy greasy little man; if you can call him that because real men don’t do that stuff to people because they have integrity. Now I have a ring, I’m nearly sure is fake and it falls off. What the heck was he doing with the ring for that long then? He should have fake sized it long ago… I literally hate this ring now because of the nightmare memories it holds. Stay away! He takes advantage of tourists. He admitted it. He’s disgusting.

If I could give 0 stars then I would. The owner is a scammer, Beware and Do Not shop here. I purchased a wedding band which I later had appraised and one of the stones is synthetic. The owner assured me the authenticity of this piece, being lied to and over charged is just a disgrace.

Everything in here seemed a little over-priced, but they had a good selection of eclectic stuff from various places that caught our eye. The owner was really talkative and seemed to really know his stuff. We didn’t buy anything, but if we had money to burn we likely would have!

Three years ago my fiancé and I found a beautiful ring at this establishment. We were looking for a vintage engagement ring and the owner convinced us we found just that. The ring was being sold as a 1930’s piece for over $ 4,000. We negotiated the price down to $ 4,000. Yesterday I had the ring appraised by a vintage jeweler in Denver. We discovered the ring was a vintage replica with a synthetic diamond. He valued the ring at $ 1,400 max. The owner of this place is a cheat! We saved for years to buy an authentic engagement ring. I’m now stuck with a knockoff!

Love, love, love, love this place. The first time I wandered in it was to try to find some cute charms for my bracelet. They have such a unique selection. So far I’ve gotten a Colorado charm, and bear charm, a squirrel charm, and a dinosaur charm from here and they’re all amazing. The rest of the selection is fantastic, too. You won’t find such rare and unique jewelry anywhere. There are rings made out of old Roman coins, original rings and such from the early 19th century, stuff you just don’t find in your typical jewelry store. Not to mention the customer service is awesome. The owner, his name is Brian, but we’ve started to call him Dino(like the singer, not the animal), is one of the friendliest guys around. Has a story for every piece he sells and is always playing some good ol’, you guessed it, Dean Martin. I’d honestly go in just to chat with him. You won’t find a better place to shop for jewelry, especially not in Estes Park. Never been to a place quite like it. I highly recommend checking it out. I know you’ll find something you love.
