Located at the end of the Gorilla Trail. BF and I didn’t have breakfast so decided to eat at the first place we stopped by. No one was in line so we walked right up to the window. Order your food and then wait for your buzzer to go off. Plenty of shady tables to sit at. Free refills the same day when you buy their souvenir cup! What we got: Nacho Supreme($ 9.25): a plate of nachos! It had chili, jalapenos, guacamole, sour cream, cheese, and onions. Not a bad plate of nachos actually. They weren’t skimpy on the ingredients and every chip was covered in something. Fish Taco Plate($ 10.50): I thought it was going to come with just one taco since the menu item was singular… but it came with 2! Big chunk of fish, but the taco was too dry in my opinion even with the salsa added on top. Service: The guy taking our order was super super friendly. Smiled the whole time we were there.

Something really nice about enjoying a dos Equis draft while the kiddos play at the jungle Jim next door!

AB-SO-LUTE-LY Awful! Do not eat here. Do not feed your children here. The food is over priced and awful. There is some level of expectation for less than stellar food when eating in a theme park, but this was just disgusting. The«tacos» were taquitos covered in salsa and guac and the chicken tenders were so tasteless it was like eating cardboard. Pack a lunch and save your money.

It’s your basic theme park grub. The nachos are descent and their is a nice view of the mountains. It’s right next to the kids play area, so that could be good or bad depending on your group.

If you find yourself wandering thru the Safari Park do yourself a favor and stop in for a drink and a snack here. Seating is ample, which is helpful with the kiddos and it is easy to get to so you don’t find yourself wandering around.

As a Unilocaler who’s previously reviewed theme park food, I think that Samburu Terrace and the Safari Park serves some pretty good theme park cafeteria food. I had a simple chicken club wrap lunch combo and every piece was crisp, sweet, fresh and together was tasty, filling and healthy. The only thing that was missing from my lunch was a good amount of fat. I was in Safari park for almost five hours felt hungry before I left the park. Throw some french fries in with your lunch.
