The Market Place

So ive been to The Market place three times. My first experience went well with exception of the juice maker/​cashier who had a lady friend visiting, occupying his time. My second time, was the best visit, the owner was taking care of me, not distracted by any means and very calm and engaging. He even asked me after making my juice, if I would like more spinach or more of ANY ingredient to see if you my juice was well balanced. I really appreciated that. However today, my third visit to The Market Place was a disaster. Starting from the very moment my friend and I walked in to the establishment, the juice maker/​cashier «Anthony» was on the phone even holding it up with his shoulder, while he took our order. He continued to stay on the phone call while making the juice when I over heard him talking about someone containing and the meaning of «swag». Suddenly since the establishment is across the street from a gym, a man came in to buy water and vitamin waters who happen to look as if he was in a rush so when Anthony attended to him first I didn’t say anything nor did anthony say anything to us. which is the first rude thing I think he did. Due to Anthony being on the phone during the entire two customer visits he messed up on giving the gym customer the correct change. The customer had given Anthony a 20 dollar bill but Anthony gave the man back 2 dollars. The man said «dude I gave you a 20 dollar bill» which then Anthony obnoxiously pulled out of my hand and gave to the customer. The customer was in such shock he said me «carefull since the man can’t get off his phone». I still did not say anything to Anthony but After finalizing the transaction I realize Anthony wasn’t going to apologize or excuse himself by any means so I said next time if customer come in you should consider getting off the phone or maybe placing the call on hold so Anthony responds «I’m a very busy guy, I’m the owner» no apology no emphany just plain nasty. I response I’m sorry I thought I had been severed by the owner and I don’t recall it being you, I said I feel a little tricked maybe I shouldn’t come back since my feed back was taked so lightly and I was being kind. The supposed owner then precedes to put both hands up with peace signs symbols in both hands saying «alright peace out». Whole foods which is give or take two miles down the rt 4 has the same exact juice but bottle with a cap for $ 4.75, but The Market Place price for juice is $ 7.50. Granted it is a convenient place I much rather go to a place with better customer service that was my last visit. I had to give a start to get a review out. I do not recommend. Thank you for your time.

Just left the market place ordered the green energy drink and strawberry banana smoothie. Honestly it was the best smoothie I have ever had. The green drink was also delicious and I got a boost of energy as soon as I drank a shot of it. I definitely recommend this place. I just sent my brother to get his own! No sharing! Lol
Also excellent customer service as well. I am new to this and they explained what they were putting in the drinks and it was a great experience.

Was repulsed by green juices till I tried one here! It was delicious! I call it The Magic Marketplace. 5 star service by the knowledgeable and welcoming staff. I can’t stress «welcoming» enough. This place just gets it!

i stopped in for a vegetable juice during lunchtime and was not only pleasantly surprised, I received 5-​star service.
Alfonso introduced himself and was really friendly and knowledgeable. I ended up trying a shot of wheatgrass and he took some time to explain some of the benefits and what not. There was another gentleman, didn’t catch his name, but he invited me back for a sampling of another product at a later date.
I couldn’t make it to that promotion but Inwill definitely be returning and I recommend this place for anyone in need of a juice or smoothie (or wheatgrass!).

The Market Place is a wonderful place to go to have a healthy beverage or grab something to eat. The drinks are delicious and he says made with love. During my visit I noticed the owner called all his customers by their name and he asks them how they are doing and he genuinely cares. I would recommend everyone visit the market place

Terrific juices and food as well would highly recommend visiting.
The employees are extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgable.

Today I tried the Green Gene. This is the one reason I look forward to doctor Appts in Englewood. I like to drive by The Market Place to get my juice fix afterwards. They also have a variety of sandwich and soup options here which I have yet to try. Deliciously clean eating hidden in a quiet apartment complex neighborhood. I tried to keep it a secret as long as I could.

Smoothie was delicious! Very fresh! Also tried the honey turkey cheddar wrap with spinach and TMP sauce, absolutely amazing! It was soooo good!!! This is my new favorite place! Alfonso was very nice and helpful with how to get around town and nyc. (We just relocated) can’t wait to come back! Thank you!!!

Great place. A bit pricey, but worth it! Green and red detox juices are my fav. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Really good pressed juices and if you are worried about prices, you should juice at home. This place is awesome and there’s nothing like it in the area.

Dissapointed. Overpriced for the quality. Purchased a 3 days cleanse. The cashew milk and cayenne lemonade were inconsistent in taste on each day. Had an issue with my last day when I went to pick it up.

I was actually quite disappointed with this place, I got a salad along with a bunch of other items for some co-​workers. they gave us some tiny little salad dressing proportions that are barely even enough to cover 1 salad. They forgot dressing for 1 of our salads. The croutons in the salad were not croutons at all, just pieces of bread that were chopped up and never toasted or seasoned.

A co-​worker of mine as been telling me to go here for the smoothies for at least a month now. I finally went in last week and was definitely not disappointed. I also had a mozzarella tomato panini and it was delicious. ‘i love when places don’t skimp out on the mozzarella cheese! This sandwich was stacked.
To top it all off the dude working there was super friendly and cool!

This place is awesome. The area needed a good smoothie and juice shop and this is it. Lots of other healthy snacks and lunch items (wraps, etc) will def be back when I’m in the area. Nice work guys

Great place for a smoothie + healthy food.

This place it truly amazing… I usually get a «VITAMIN C pick me up» to boost my immune system or a very berry smoothie… everything is prepared FRESH on additives or preserves. Great place to refer someone who is involved with maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

At first i couldnt find this place but when i did i was suprisingly welcomed in by a young man who was behind the counter glanced around seen a couple of organic products and also noticed the organic made pastries along with all the fresh fruit and vegetables asked him for my favorite juice which by the way i have to drive to whole foods when i have a taste for it during lunch… he suggested the same juice beets carrots and apples but with ginger Fabuloso! This is definltly going to be one of my favorite spots !!!
