I placed an order on June 18 with a female employee who picked up the phone. I was very specific when I asked my sandwich to be put on gluten free bread. I did not open the bag to eat my food until about an hour later when I got to my destination. I noticed that The bread was Panini bread not gluten-free bread but the inside of my sandwich was correct which means she was not paying attention when I placed the order. Perhaps an employee who understands and speaks English fluently would be more suitable to take orders.

Great sandwich place! Everything is always fresh and tasty. I usually will get a gluten free bagel for breakfast with a nice cup of coffee to start my day. Or, I’ll pick up a sandwich for dinner on my way home. The roast beef sandwiches are always consistently excellent and the dirty bowl is my wife’s fave. The smoothies are also excellent!

I love this place! The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent. I usually go for the hot and dirty bowl or the peanut banana smoothie. I would suggest calling in your order if you intend on eating here during lunch time. The line is practically out the door during the week around noon. If you know the tricks you will have a pleasant experience. Also — teachers get a discount!

Food was very good. A rare health food store with good options and flavor. This area really lacks these. The inside and wait service is nothing to write home about. I probably wouldn’t sit for food again but am hoping to make this a regular take-out spot since it’s close to home. The meals are not huge so if you’re a big eater you can order maybe two entrees and it’s affordable enough to where that’s still reasonable. I’m not a big fan of smoothies since usually they’re filled with sugar and not much of a health food but they were decent here. Great quinoa if that’s your style.

Good, clean food. Wish they were open a little bit later on Fridays and Saturdays, but I understand it is difficult to stay open with little or no volume for a random«late comer.» You can pretty much get anything you are looking for to fulfill your lunch or dinner craving, and for the most part, it will be a very healthy option, and you can tailor it to your liking as much as you want. Prices are fair. I’m glad this place is in our neighborhood as a healthy option to sodium-soup and grease meat.

The food is awesome but the service is a little weird. A little too casual with customers. This is the type of establishment that would REALLY benefit from being open on a Sunday. Losing lots of business from good, hangry people!

OMFG! Unilocal History was made today. I’ve NEVER taken a review from 4 to 1… ever! But today’s experience took me allllll the way there. I ordered a regular Garden Salad and got a side of FLY!!! Ewwww… and that mofo was still kicking. (See pics) So as soon as I was finished gathering my evidence, i hopped in the car and took the salad straight back to the store. I immediately asked for the manager, no time for the small talk. The manager looked at the salad bowl like he didnt see a fly on his back. The least this man could do was reimburse me for my meal, the least! Have some shame man… you just served me something off the menu. I SUGGESTIFYOUDON’T WANTTOFIND A LIVINGSURPRISEINYOURFOOD, STEERCLEAR. ORIFYOUDO, DONT’T EXPECT A FULLREFUND. ENTERWITHCAUTION!

Love their EBLT for breakfast! They use thick cut bacon and render their bacon just right. I usually add some avocado in the sandwich as well to add extra flavor and texture. Love to get that creaminess from avocado against that crunchy bacon! Everything here is fresh and made to order. Do check it out!

I’ve had a sandwich for lunch before and it was fine. This last visit for breakfast was disappointing. I could not order just scrambled eggs or I would be charged separately for toast and home fries, so i ordered a cheese omelette and sausages. I’m pretty sure a cheese omelette the cheese is supposed to be melted. Guess what i got instead, look at picture. Supposed to be a hot meal but the chunk of cheese just made it cold. Ok for the sausages, i expected cooked on grill or atleast boiled? Wow micromagic dry crusty sausages. Breakfast is a nono, home fries were the only good.

Parking in the back… I said parking in the back… I had to start it off like that because I hate parking on the side street on a busy area. it’s like musical chairs… already a plus for this place… first meal I had portion was really not for big guys like me, shredded chicken bowl, reminded me of qdoba… glad i have money to eat… great guy at the register name mike, super helpful and he let me know what was the best meal for my second go around… I tried the hot and dirty bowl with chicken & steak… THEBOMBDOTCOM… washed it down with their tropical juice smoothie type drinks they have… hey you get what you pay for, I may have spent about 30 $ but the food was good

If a restaurant lacks customer service, it’s a 0 in my book. I’m surprised to see all positive reviews. My friend recommended on coming here so we both came here for dinner tonight. Overpriced food that you can make on your own. My review is solely on my friend’s treatment here. She ordered a hot and dirty bowl with salmon since it’s her favorite regular. She bit into her salmon and noticed it tasted different. It tasted chemically? She couldn’t explain it but it just tasted wrong. So she grabbed the waiter and told him about the salmon and if she could swap it with steak instead. He. stood there and said«maybe you ate it with the salad so that’s why it tastes weird» and when she said that wasn’t it, he kept questioning her. He was giving us a hard time when she only took a small nibble out of it. We asked again if she could swap it out and he responds with«okay. If it tastes that bad then I guess» … okay thanks. He takes the food back but after 5 minutes(who knows what he did with the salmon) he says that the cook insisted the salmon is fresh and we cannot switch it. The fact you took the food into the back and then bringing it back to us was shady.(I’m. pretty sure the salmon looked more interesting than before) The waiter had no care about our situation. Won’t be back

This review will seem like the rest, but every star counts amiright? Good food. leaves you with the healthy feeling even if what you got isn’t really so healthy(I am looking at you chicken caesar salad, you deceptive delicious devil). Prices are high, average for the area and if you know their other location, Tast Eatery, nothing new here. A turkey wrap with brie and avocado cost me 10 bucks. The only negative I could see is that this location is much smaller than the other with a few tables that seem crammed in. Wouldn’t want to eat here but great place to quickly pick something up.

The answer to that question I know I always ask«why is it so hard to go out for food and to eat something healthy but delicious!?» I’ve only experienced a cheery staff. The prices are right on with their offerings, it takes care, consideration, and money to serve high quality food made with high quality ingredients. The menu has something literally for EVERYONE. I particularly love that the food is easily customizable because it’s all truly to order. I can understand some people thinking the portions are a bit small but I think it’s really perfect. The sandwiches don’t come with a HUGE side of fries(or any fries for that matter, just a real small thing of pasta salad) so that is where the gap lies for those interested in a BIG meal. I can agree it’s definitely more of a lunch spot but either way it NEVER disappoints and should be plenty of food for most.

Pricey but delicious. I live near their sister store(tast eatery) and go there regularly. Management is the same and ingredients seem to be the same but food offering is different. You can always expect to get great quality food here. Recommend the Hot n Dirty bowl with salmon. Salmon portion is a little small, but altogether the bowl is delicious! I would give this place a 5 but parking is rough and it’s not a very nice place to sit and eat at. Place has great quality food for a pretty penny, but it feels like you’re at a city deli. Would still highly recommend!

So happy to have discovered a place like this in this area. Have only been here one time but I definitely plan to return many times. I had a Hot and Dirty bowl with shrimp and it was delicious. I could have easily eaten two. Going to try the Bliss one with hummus next time. My boyfriend had a sandwich with tahini and some other stuff, can’t remember what it was called but he loved it. Side note: my one complaint would be the rude bitch who was behind the counter on a Sunday, who acted like asking her anything was inconveniencing her terribly. Fix your damn attitude.

There is nothing I don’t love about this place. For some people, it might be too expensive but I would rather shell out 2 or 3 more bucks for the comfort of knowing you are getting healthy, quality ingredients. In the past, I’ve ordered the cobb salad, hot and dirty bowl with steak, and the big bang theory sandwich. Everything was perfectly cooked and flavorful. You don’t leave here feeling guilty about the fullness that’s for sure. It’s a great edition to an area dominated by asian foods, which is not always the healthiest, and for corporate lunch crowds. I would like to try some of the breakfast options and more of the smoothies. They make their own almond milk, so it should be delicious!

My friend insisted we come here instead of the place we’d been a dozen times that I knew was great… so I begrudgingly agreed to mood’wiches. Best decision I’ve made this week! We started with a bliss salad, a tempeh sandwich, and a side of black beans. All superb and so fresh. As a vegetarian I was impressed with their choice of humanly raised, organic meats. Ihaven’t eaten meat in a long time, but the smells inside moodwich was like kryptonite. So much so that I had the Big Bang Theory sub. Roast beef, cheddar, hot peppers, spinach, Russian dressing. Amazing. Go here. Enjoy. Oh, and the lemon bar lasted only a few seconds between two of us.

Mood ‘wiches…the moods I feel when I eat your food are as follows: happiness, joyousness, contentment, jubilation, satisfaction… well, you get the picture. First off, the interesting thing about this place is that it’s SO unassuming. I would pass right by it if I were driving down the street. The inside has five small tables, with white walls and minimal decoration. But the food! Oh, the food… If you know me, you know one of the main reasons why I love this place so much: it’s SO vegetarian friendly! The majority of sandwich spots will usually only have a couple of meat-free options on the menu; at mood ‘wiches, there’s an entire section to choose from! But that doesn’t mean there’s a shortage of options for carnivores either. They have several dozen sandwiches, and believe me, it will be a hard decision. Their locally-sourced, quality ingredients come on your choice of freshly baked bread. ciabatta, whole grain, wraps, panini, you name it. They’re all amazingly tasty! My favorite is their tempeh sandwich. Smoked tempeh with lettuce, tomato, avocado and hummus. Sickest TLT ever. I’ve also tried some of their fresh squeezed juice blends and they always taste tangy and nutritious. Another thing I love about mood ‘wiches: their ethics are on point! Their produce comes from local farms, as well as their meats, and the animals are not treated with antibiotics. Because the ingredients are available in limited quantities, they frequently run out of certain items. As they say, «this is a good thing». So don’t go in with your heart set on one thing, have a backup plan! Some people have complained about the staff behind the counter, but I’ve never had a problem, they’ve always been friendly and helpful in the 3 or 4 times I’ve visted. Others have claimed the prices are too high, but the quality makes it way worth it. No $ 5 footlongs here, and thats okay with me. Mood ‘wiches has real, fresh and healthy food. Wholesome ingredients and solid ethics come together to make the best ‘wich you’ve had in a while. Take is from me, this is a definite bookmark-worthy, must-try spot.
