Wish I could give 3.5 stars. Way more quality that Taco Bell with less annoying clientele than Chipotle fanboys, whats not to love? They have a huge selection of make-your-own burritos and tacos, much more than chipotle. As a vegetarian who can find these types of restaurants restricting, I was very happy with my bean and cheese burrito. It was tasty. The interior is really cool too. I believe they have artsy portraits of «normal» people who happen to have uncanny resemblances to legends of rock and roll. It turns into a real mind melt. Downsides: it can get crowded real quick and I spent a large portion of my time in line anxious over whether or not we will find a place to sit. Just hope for high turnover. Then I spent another long wait to use the drink machine. It’s also pricey for what you are getting, a pretty basic burrito. However, perhaps I am not well versed in the nuances of advances in modern burrito-cuisine. Bottom line: good place for a quick, solid, quality burrito. Gets crowded. Get used to the bla bla Chipotle is better bla bla bla

Great Fresh Food, Good Music for an upbeat lunch. Drink Machine was fine. Nice helpful staff also.

Moe’s is Moe’s. Everything seems to be the same about every Moe’s. However in a comparison to others that I frequently go to, this one lacked the energy that the other ones have. Service was lacking.

I have been to this Moe’s location several times. Every time it was delicious. I always recommend this Moe’s to family and friends… HOWEVER… Today I went there and was appalled with the lack of cleanliness. First of all, they were dead– so there really is no reason that they could not have cleaned up or have been in the process of cleaning. All of the containers that they keep the ingredients in were spilled everywhere, almost empty, or had crusty residue all over the sides. The counter where they make the food didn’t look sanitized. It looks like they had an afternoon rush and then never cleaned up. Which is ridiculous because it was four o’clock and there was barely anyone there. While I was ordering, the young man was skimping on what I asked for because the bins were empty or close to empty. Are you that lazy that you’re going to give me old, bottom of the container toppings instead of taking thirty seconds and grabbing me fresh ingredients that are already in pre-filled bins? That was irritating. Then I watched the manager on duty take chips that had spilled all over the unclean counter and PUTTHEMBACKINTOTHECHIPDISPENSER. Unreal! I couldn’t believe that. I paid, and went to fill my drink and was bombarded by fruit flies swarming around the soda machine. Gross. Not to mention the whole time I ate there, the flies were all around the booth. Like I said, I have been here several times and loved it. Maybe the management changed? I don’t know but there really is no excuse for the laziness I encountered today. With that many employees on the clock, at least one of them can be changing out ingredients and cleaning countertops. Don’t scrape a container to give me old hard rice when you have new rice right behind you in the warmer. C’mon now. This is what happens when you have young kids working under an inattentive manager.

I was not impressed with the service I received at this moes, and will only go to chipotle from here on out. The guy at the counter insulted me on the way in, questioned all of my food choices, and forgot to ad sour cream. He then split my burrito and instead of double wrapping like they do at chipotle he dumped it onto another tortilla, leaving a quarter of the filling on the old burrito which got thrown out. He then sassed me at the register for paying cash. That said the food was decent and definitely filling, but the service was quite subpar

After being disgusted with Chipolte I decided to give Moe’s a try. I had never been here before and didn’t know what to expect. I assumed it was a make your own burrito Subway-type setup. I ordered the«Homewrecker» chicken burrito and had the guy load it. It went pretty quick, even with the old man in front of me fretting over each topping. The service was real friendly even when it was backed up. The free chips and salsa were a plus, but I’m sure the $ 9 price tag for the burrito covered them. The place wasn’t the cleanest with food on the floor and crumbs on tables. The whole place had a distinct pissy smell like the tables were wiped down with an old rag drenched in old water. That grade school lunch lady rag smell. The burrito was a decent size and tasted good until I bit into something rock hard that could of shattered my goddamn tooth. I don’t know what it was, but it wasn’t very appealing. I spit it out and soldiered on. I liked that they claimed no msg or trans fat in their food. I like the chips and salsa, and the variety of toppings to choose from. I liked that they offered guacamole and sour cream included in the price, but the prices are still high for what you get. I still think Bueno Y Sano serves a better burrito with a better price. Would I go back? Possibly, but I won’t go out of my way.

Went there for dinner takeout on Monday night at 6 pm. Restaurant was dirty, unorganized, slow, and absolutely no value. Never again,!!!

Not bad, not great… Chipotle is way better. I would go back for a quick meal but I did have some complaints with my tacos. The meat was cold and so was the fillings and she’ll which threw me off. I was expecting a hot taco but what I got was just the opposite. Their ingredients seem ok but not as fresh as a Chipotle or a Qdoda. Moes used to be a novelty but now it seems like these burrito chains are popping up everywhere. In short, you won’t get a bad meal here, but you also certainly will not get a great meal.

Conflicted There are some days I love Moe’s, others where I’m just waiting for the kids to finish up so I can leave… Maybe it’s those who prepare the meals, or just bad days, it’s odd… Food: Generally solid ingredients. Burrito’s are huge. The BLT quesadilla is excellent(especially with jalapeño’s). Drinks: Soda machine is awesome. But they need TWO so you don’t wait in line for a drink. Chips: Average at best. Moe’s, for me, is hit and miss. It can get expensive quickly. But the kids love it, so I will be returning. And it is a MASSIVE upgrade over taco bell…

At one point in my life I sang the gospel praises of Moe’s…The fun menu item names, the gut busting burritos, the tomatillo salsa that I still crave to this day, the«Welcome to Moe’s!» you get when you walk through the door… But…I haven’t been to Moe’s in quite a while and my most recent trip tells the tale. This isn’t a story about this particular Moe’s, mind you… This Moe’s is very clean and its employees were very courteous and competent. If you are a lover of all things Moe, this one won’t steer you wrong. Moe even sent me a birthday present of a free burrito which is what prompted this recent trip. Yay for Moe! I guess I’ve just fallen out of love with Moe. His burritos now come in two sizes instead of one. That old size I loved is now the larger, more expensive one. There’s a different price it seems for each meat option which confuses me. And even that large Home Wrecker ain’t wrecking homes like she used to… It’s not a bad burrito, mind you, but there are 4 – 5 other chains out there doing the same things these days and some are doing it much better. Doing it healthier, doing it tastier, doing it at a lower cost. And calling your menu items funny names ain’t the draw it used to be… That said, your green tomatillo sauce was still as tasty as ever… That alone will probably be enough to get me in there once or twice a year(along with a Cherry Coke Zero from the fun Coke machine)…Maybe when I come back in 6 months, you will do something else to rekindle that fire we once had…

Moes is down the street from where i work and there are groups from work that frequent this place on a weekly basis. I visit Moes about once a year. This place has never made a good impression on me. Lets say I am not one to visit a place for the fancy drink machine(just not a soda drinker). We were back here yesterday for lunch and i decided to go with the tacos. 2x chicken tacos and a drink for $ 10. Mind you i can have a fancy taco at bar taco in west hartford for the same price. It was the most tasteless food i have had in a while. I am not sure if someone forgot to add salt to everything. Even the salsa and chips lacked the basic flavor. Huge disappointment. Probably wont return considering that chipotle is right around the corner from moes.

Have it your way– Prices are reasonable and you can’t beat Moe’s Mondays! I can eat an entire cub of Queso my self!– Only dislike is the soda Machine– Getting all the flavors at once.- yuck.

This place is spectacularly average. You can’t have a bad meal when you get to choose exactly how it goes. When I want just a taco/burrito I go to Chipotle’s which to me, has better ingredients and flavor. When I want a meal I go to Moe’s because it comes with chips and free salsa and an amazing drink machine. What they lack in quality ingredients they try to make up in pizzaz and free extras. Which works on me sometimes.

WELCOMETOMOES!!! There are two types of people in the world. Chipotle and Moes’s. I won’t divulge here, but will say I’m down with Moe’s. My favorite is the Homewrecker with Tofu. YESTOFU! The tofu is well seasoned and has a meat feel. The real treat is the soda machine. It has about a 100 options and is loaded like toner in a printer. Do not skip the salsa. The corn chips are plain and flavorless. The salsa is incredible. They sell booze.

My boyfriend loves this place. Me, I like my tacos plain so all the selection doesn’t do anything for me, but for others they have a field day. Choices of protein(beef, chicken, tofu, ext) and exactly what you want on your taco/burrito/nachos/whatever. And their own tortilla chips to go with it all. Also there’s the«magic soda machine». The Coca-Cola one where you can add whatever flavors you want to your drink. Very fun. Only problem is if you get there when it’s busy there will be a bit of a wait, but it’s worth it

Short wait, friendly staff, and no idea what I was doing. Not a bad place to grab a burrito on the quick. The whole wheat shell wasn’t weird and grainy. Honestly, I wouldn’t have known it was good for me if I hadn’t ordered it. The tofu was the firmest I’ve ever had. I always buy extra firm, but this was super duper firm. They aren’t shy with the guacamole, and it wasn’t overpowered with cilantro. Apparently, I’m supposed to get my own salsa. I didn’t realize this until I got home with a bag of dry chips. No worries. My miserable, little dog had no problem eating them. If you want something quick, Moe’s is a good choice.

In the Enfield«battle» of best burrito’s…Moe’s IMHO is the winner over Chipotle. amazing they are located just one long block away from each other. Moe’s is a friendlier place… much better lighting and décor and the food tastes better. Last night. I had the Monday night special… just $ 6.99 for any burrito… free chips(Chipotle charges!)…and a soda. what a bargain! Lucked out last night. as I wasn’t officially greeted with the«welcome to moe’s» routine. The burrito is very tasty and is very big. chips are made on premise… salsa selections are fine. and the fancy soda machine is unique. we’re not talking fine dining here… just a small step above fast food… but for what it is… Moe’s does their job well. Help seem to take their jobs seriously. As other Unilocalers have said… they need to figure out how to serve their food warmer.

Moe’s makes some great burritos. I really appreciate the variety of ingredients and that they have wheat tortillas. I’m not a big fan of their queso but their salsa varieties are very good. My only complaint about this particular location is that they don’t do a good enough job marking which burritos have what in them. This is a particular nuisance if, say, two people get the same kind of burrito(Art Vandelay, their vegetarian) but with different ingredients(I like the corn salsa; my wife doesn’t). They also give you tortilla chips for free, which is a great bonus. They would get five stars if I knew I could rely on them to get my order accurate when I order online.

Moe’s is great for lunch or dinner. They make an impressive burrito, and I prefer it to Chipotle. Their tortilla chips are nothing to write home about and I rarely finish them — the burrito is often the star of the meal, and rightfully so. You’ll be lucky to finish one! This one location has been hit-or-miss with their online ordering capability and the timeliness of having your order ready. This past Friday night, there were no black beans prepared when we came to pick up our order 20 minutes after ordering online. We ended up waiting a good 45 minutes by the time we got the food, but they MORE than made up for it: they gave us some queso and extra burritos! Now that’s how you deal with problems! I love treating myself to Moe’s on a Friday night after cooking all week. I love the vegetarian options on the menu, and that we’re recognized as people who eat out too.
