I looove jungle Java! I’m a coffee snob & the espresso here is top notch! Gets you going without a crash and its not acidic at all. They have a great variety of milk alternatives. The drive thru is super convenient and the customer service is amazing. I’m so happy this place exists! It’s a family run business and you can tell they care about their customers!

I don’t drink coffee, but stop by frequently to get it for my wife and she raves about them. The reason I’m writing is just about the service. You will not find a nicer group of employees anywhere. I’ve been short money, they told me to get them next time. I’ve got kids in the car, they give them gummies or animal crackers. Always smiling with their service and you feel good because you are supporting a family business, not a corporation.

So I’ve pretty much had every coffee chain available. This place is close to my work. They’re half the cost of Peet’s, Starbucks or any of those crappy chains. Its a great local mom and pop shop, I met the owners and their daughter, they’re very nice people. I love how one the ice drink they use coffee cubes instead of ice cubes, it totally makes a difference! Im addicted.
I wish they had more locations or a place that you can sit and hangout. But they have great customer service, great prices, and a double sided drive thru so you’re not waiting forever!

THE BEST coffee in Encinitas. Don’t miss a chance to visit! Super friendly, family owned.

Final and overall thoughts — It’s Nice to be able to support a local brand that does an amazing job. Often you want to support local companies but they don’t have the quality to make it work or to make sense for you as the consumer. These people have everything it takes to make up a good business. Fast and timely service with a great smile and a product that you can return for. My wife use to spend about $ 800 a year at Starbucks, it’s nice to be able to move that money over to a local business. My tip, give them a try I don’t think you’ll be disappointed…

Already had my coffee for the day but since I’m in the neighborhood, I had to support this local business and get one of their yummy coffees. Wish there were more places like this! Always consistent with their coffee… Never that burnt Starbucks taste & always greeted with genuinely happy friendly people

Love this place! It has replaced my daily visit to Starbucks. The coffee and iced tea is excellent. The people who work here are super friendly. Plus it is a drive thru and doesn’t have insane wait times.

They have the best Iced coffee around, the ice cubes are make of the coffee so it doesn’t get watered down as the day goes on. Seriously we swear by them, yummy and guaranteed to wake you up and keep you going-​super fast all day! haha Staff is very helpful and super friendly

Excellent coffee which is the number one factor in whether or not I’ll return to a coffee shop. So 5 stars for that. My only issue (and it’s a small issue) is that it’s a two sided drive up venue with a small staff on hand, meaning if there’s even a slight line, you’ll be waiting a while to get your blended mocha in your hands.
However, after all is said and done, I’m always willing to wait for delicious coffee, provided I have the time to spare.

It is COFFEE — nothing more, nothing less! This is a «tiny» drive-​up, and you kinda have to coax the attendants into telling you what their ENTIRE product offering is. We came for BREAKFAST — not just coffee, yet the other breakfast options I guess are available for only the regulars who seem to know the private food menu because it is NOT listed anywhere on the kiosk.
I am being generous with 3 stars as my husband and I had a «staycation» in RSF and decided to splurge on the way home and try new spots on our way home!
I gave 3 stars because the coffee was good — not horrible and not great — hence — exactly what I expected. I dropped a star because they don’t advertise ALL their breakfast food options. I felt I had to ask them and beg them for food options — lol!
Though we had GOOD coffee — we will NOT go out of our way to EVER visit this establishment again!

Lil Jungle Java’s actual hours are:
Mon — Fri: 6am — 5pm
Saturday: 6:30am — 4pm
Sunday: 7am — 2pm

This is my new favorite coffee spot! Mainly because it’s a family owned business and they treat you like family!
They have several different options for coffee. My favorite is the blended banana mocha. Since I work across the street from here I’ll be checking in here quite a bit.

so glad I found this place! I’m picky with coffee, I had their cold brew and it is sooo good. they even use coffee ice cubes, genius! the woman working was super sweet as well, this is my new go to for coffee.

This little drive-​thru coffee shack serves up the most delicious iced coffee! Strong and cold brewed, they even create their ice from coffee to limit watering down the drink. They have lots of hot drinks to choose from as well. Peppermint mocha and Gingerbread Latte even in August? Sweet! I can’t wait to come back and try something new. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Thanks Dixie for a delicious drink!

This place is the best! Scott, Tiana, Kathleen and crew are seriously awesome, my morning is not complete if I haven’t gotten my coffee yet! Their customer service is above and beyond. They beat any chain out there!!!
Oh and did I mention the great coffee? And pastries? Cause they are awesome too.
AND it’s a drive thru!!! Yep… trifecta of perfection.

This place is great. It’s a little drive through coffee shop and the service is amazing! I order a nutty zebra, although it’s not on the menu they make it because my co-​worker once asked for the drink and tiana just made a name up for that order… If you don’t know what a nutty zebra is, it’s gonna be worth it to just stop by and try lil’ jungle Java
It was my first time going on Monday, and I definitely love their coffee! Very Rich and delicious.

I’m always a fan of small mom and pop coffee shops. Helping run starbucks out of business is on my bucket list. I especially love the drive up coffee shacks. It reminds me of my brief stint in Washington state. This shack is particularly popular when I drove by around 1030 on a weekend. I love that they do have 2 lanes on each side of the shack to alleviate traffic.
I do wish that their menu was a little more visible as you are driving up. I thought the print was a little small and hard to read, so I just asked questions when I got up there. However this probably slows down the line a little. They serve Lion Coffee!!! I have a particular affinity for hawaii coffee. They also had a variety of milks and sweeteners. This is every Californian’s dream!
They also totally have their dog walking around who greets walk ups. I love it!

You would think by the reaction of the staff everytime I drive up for coffee that I was bringing them all a bag of hundred dollar bills. But that is how they treat all of their customers. And if it’s your first time the coffee is on them. (That may only be when the owner is there) .
I almost always have my dog with me and they always offer her a treat. And they aren’t your crappy little milk bone treats they are the good kind. You know the kind I can’t afford.
Service is quick, sweek and efficient. Coffee is good and you have a pick of pretty much any flavor you can find at Starbucks. They also have a fresh selection of muffins and scones. And if you forget your dog don’t worry they usually have a couple there you can pet.
