Derrial — is the man! I purchased a Samsung JS9000 over the weekend at Best Buy, and I was having a hard time with deciding on buying the TV «open box» or brand new.
I’ve wanted this particular television for six months, but the price was a bit out of my range.
Not only was Derrial patient with my indecisiveness, he stuck by me and made sure that I was buying the right television to suite my viewing needs, as well as not going over my budget.
I called him the next morning and let him know that I was unsatisfied with the floor model. When I came back in later that day, the new television was all ready waiting for me at the counter, for the easy swap out.

Do not purchase anything from this place. They will sell you the world and deliver nothing. I was tricked into signing up for a home automation project. They were supposed to integrate my existing surveillance and alarm systems to their Control 4 system. They were supposed to add a camera and shades that could be automated via the Control 4 system. Well, almost 7 months has passed and this is what I have:
1. Simple light programming is still being worked on
2. Zero integration — this was the main reason we wanted this to begin with
3. No additional camera
4. All recommendations and promises were unkept. From seeing a project plan to the third party vendors and parts that they had may pay for to delivery dates which kept getting pushed back.
4. Project has been scaled back to about 20% from original scope.
5. Excuses after excuses and they have over $ 20k of my hard earned money.
6. All I have to show for are lights that I can control from my iphone. I could have done this part on my own for 10% of what they charged me.
STAY AWAY FROM EVAN EMERY! HE WILL SAY YES TO EVERYTHING AND DELIVER NOTHING. Escalation to upper management did not really help us expected. They just nod their head as I excruciatingly explained my experience and did nothing.

These guys came out today and hung my new 65inch Sony on the wall and did a PERFECT job

After you left on Friday evening, I sat down in the family room, cranked up the speakers some and listened to Andrej Panufnik’s Sinfonia Sacra that, when played live, features brass fanfares coming from different parts of the auditorium (along with a full orchestra up front). I gotta tell you experiencing the recording (on CD) in the surround sound set-​up you and the Denon receiver created, was a tremendous high and gave me a chill. I’ve had surround sound type experiences in the car and movie theater but nothing like what happened in my house on Friday night! Wow!
Anyway, I wanted you to know and thank you. I’m sure I’ll be in touch and asking you questions as I learn the full range of options the new equipment offers. BTW I watched Australian Open tennis last night and felt the picture WAS sharper (though it may just be placebo effect).

I recently moved into a new house (well almost 100 years old, but new to me), and decided it was time to step up the home entertainment system. I have always wanted a good system, but frankly I wouldn’t know where to start and I certainly wouldn’t want to set the system up. With all that in mind, I went into Magnolia looking for some ideas. I initially talked with Mason and he suggested he come out to my house and take a look with his associate Jeremy to see what options I would have.
They came out and looked through my place and asked me what my goals were and then drew up a plan that they then presented about a week later back at the magnolia store. I knew I wanted to Sonos to get the multi-​room wireless musical set up. They ran with that and then some. Eventually we settled on a new system with Speakers in serveral rooms and some of the speakers being in ceiling. My wife and I also plan to do a remodel in the kitchen in the next few years, and they built that into the plan. I loved the ideas and signed off on moving forward.
The next step was the install. Ron and John came out to the house with all of the equipment and did the install in one day. John then came back 2 days later to do the programming. The guys were super friendly and very professional. Because my house is older and we were trying to run wiring through some of the walls and under some floors, they had to climb into some tight spaces and a few initial plans had to be re-​worked because of the age of the house, but they were able to work around all of the obstacles.
As part of the set up, I went with the Control 4 unit, which is a single remote that controls every device. I watched the guys set it up and it looks to be pretty complicated. In the first few days, there were a few functionality hicups, but the guys had no problem coming back to correct the issues and were really responsive.
At this point, I have a killer home entertainment system that works really well and looks super professional. I have no doubt that I would have been completely outmatched if I tried to do this on my own.

I would absolutely recommend these guys for anyone thinking of going down the home entertainment road!

I had a great experience buying a 55 inch Samsung TV from Best Buy. I worked with Travis Fugit. He was knowledgeable of all the SKUs, did not pressure to buy, and helped me easily exchange a 60 inch (was too big) I had bought for the 55.

I recently purchased Magnolia Sonos equipment at the BestBuy in Emeryville. I had several questions so I called in and spoke with Shawn. I can’t say enough great things about her. She was very knowledgeable and even more patient. Many thanks Shawn!
