5 stars for Chipotle in general. But minus a star for being a bit pokey with service during the dinner rush and breaking my burrito. Sofritas burrito with guacamole is . Not sure if that’s even still a saying… But, you get it… i love it. Finally a worthwhile vegetarian option that is comparable to the meat options! We should also talk about the corn salsa and salty lime tortilla chips while we are at it… Just say yes to both. Get a burrito, cut it in half and stuff some of the chips in. Seriously. Try it. The burritos are a pretty good size. I generally save the other half for lunch the next day. The restaurant is cute in a minimalist sort of way. I really like the low stool seating area by the windows. Not much of a view, but the stools are the right size for adults and kiddos. Nothing Bundt Cakes is next door. Perfect for dessert.

The passed two times I’ve visited this location I’ve been very disappointed. I ordered to go both times so I was home by the time I realized my food wasn’t prepared correctly. The first time the rice was rock hard and the second time the steak was either undercooked or very old. It was way too soft and it gave me a stomach ache

This is the newest location in the area and they are starting off well! Very friendly staff, which is very important, and the food has been good the three or four times I’ve been there. My «main» location is still in Melrose Park but this one is sometimes easier to get to. I do suggest this location over the one in downtown Elmhurst as the parking over there is a joke and the stuff is unfriendly.

This is my new go-to Chipotle. The one in downtown Elmhurst is just too difficult to get to during lunch rushes, but this one is perfect, with plentiful parking, speedy service and awesome people who work there. I’ve been visiting them pretty regularly over the past few weeks and I’ve never encountered anyone without a level 10+ positive attitude and friendly smile. I’m not sure what keeps their enthusiasm so high, but I’ve rarely seen it at other Chipotle restaurants, and whatever it is, I want some! They’re quick to put my orders together and the place is spotless each time I come in. I like using the app to have my burrito waiting for me, but I’ve found myself dining in a few times as well. Keep up the great work, guys. I’ll keep coming back for more.

I returned from the Elmhurst location on IL Rte 83 and found myself thinking the same thing I did the last handful of time I’ve been there. Why did I do this? I sat at work with a half-eaten steak burrito bowl that was cold. Everything in it was cold: the mild salsa was nearly frozen, the sour cream was cold and the cheese was hard, the rice was barely room temperature and the steak was also cold. It seems odd to complain about my burrito bowl considering that I got it for free because this location didn’t have any guacamole that day, or at least when I came they didn’t. And no explanation was given as to why or if any would be available if I waited, though I saw someone making some in the back. But, I do feel I should bring this issue up because it’s not the first issue I’ve had. The previous times I’ve come, I have paid my way and I’ve been let down. By this point I am no longer surprised when I get back to work or home to find the steak medium to well done, even though their website says it should be medium-rare. However, it was a shock to find it both medium and cold this time. I am really surprised at how consistently disappointing the Elmhurst location has been since opening. I really hope the Manager there can do something to get things operating smoothly or that Corporate can step in to see that this Chipotle is consistent with others. I submitted my complaints to them directly and they say they’ll look into it.

I love the workers here, they’re great. The only reason I can’t give it a 5 star is because ever since the E. coli outbreak they’ve been burning their chicken and it literally makes your burrito bowl just taste like the char from the grill. Once they improve on that they get a for sure 5 star.

I just took my mother’s Chipotle virginity at this new location. Food is great, it’s clean and the employees are super nice and attentive!

I came here the first day they opened. I came on my lunch break since I am so close. Got my usual steak bowl. It was the smallest burrito bowel I have ever had from chipotle. BARELY any rice, cheese, or steak. It was horrible. You would think since they just opened they would make it really good to keep you coming back… WRONG! I will drive the extra way to go to another one. I will never be back!

I feel compelled to give this Chipotle five stars because I can’t think of anything they could do better. This new west location(St. Charles and Route 83) is nicer than the one downtown Elmhurst. First, there’s more parking, although I don’t think they could make those spaces any narrower! Second, the inside is designed in such a way that it cuts down on some of the noise. That’s always been one, if not the only, complaint I’ve had about Chipotle. It’s really hard to hold a conversation at your table because of the acoustics. This location has some of the seating are broken up, which should help. However, I took advantage of the Indian summer and sat outside. By the way, don’t go out the front door and try to get into the outdoor seating area. There’s a door specifically for that. As of this writing there are ninety-six restaurants in Elmhurst. I plan on eating at, and reviewing, every one. Follow me on Unilocal

Came here for BOGO for national tough mudder. It’s a newer place a bit smaller than their other Elmhurst location. The window seats were meant for the kiddies. The long table by the corner with little stools so cute. The staff was very friendly to us and each other saying please more and thank you. Layout and the background music is typical from the other locations. The food was on point and we lucked out on Fresh made steak for our burrito bowl, yes! They were quick like clockwork. They are still waiting for their alcohol license though but they will get it eventually. Overall, a great experience and the food was on point, I’ll be back!
