Just have to say I have been consistently impressed with the staff at Lukas Liquors. They are helpful and attentive without hovering. I am very pleased with their vast selection of wines. Thanks for making liquor shopping double the fun!

Rudest staff in town. They have a great selection but don’t how to treat people. Tried to get on their VIP list several times. Apparently, you have to go there in person. I was finally told that after three phone calls. No problem. I go there that day and was informed that the deadline had passed for registration. Frustrated. I expressed my concern with the system and was told by an employee in front of several other customers, «I really don’t need your attitude.» I now shop at Randall’s.

A great store, great prices and a great staff. We love the new bar in the back for tasting events and socializing. Gary, Adam, Shelby and the rest of the crew cater to their customers and are very knowledgeable about their products. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else!

With the popularity of unique wine, beer, and spirits growing, the amount of liquor stores have increased recently. West County has many wine & spirits stores, but the best might be Lukas Wine and Spirits.
I am obsessed with craft beer, and I am always looking for something new to enjoy. Lukas isn’t too far from work, and I had passed by it many times over the past few months. I finally stopped in a few weeks ago, and I am smitten with this place.
My friends were hosting a Star Wars marathon on Saturday, and I wanted to find some craft beer to share at the party. I walked into the store, and immediately they had ice cold canned beer, craft and domestic, to enjoy while I browse, only two dollars a can. I grabbed one and paid the clerk, and my evening had started before I even bought my beer!
The selection is pretty impressive. In fact, it rivals what Total Wines carry. The prices are similar, and I don’t think Lukas gets quite the price breaks that TW receives. However, I still found them to be quite competitive.
Wine, beer, spirits. They have just about anything you would want. I am definitely going to patronize them when I’m in the West County area.

I have been here a few times and always had great experiences. They have a large inventory and great prices. The staff is always happy to help you find what you’re looking for.

From the day they opened, Lukas Wine & Spirits set a new standard for party planning and wine purchases. I’ll never forget the day I walked in to the old store to buy alcohol for a party for 50 in my home, Gary the owner walked up to me and said «can I help you find anything» (I’m sure I had a look of fear in my eyes) I told him about my party, he grabbed my cart and said «follow me». .. he asked all of the important questions. How many attending, what are you serving, budget and before I knew it I had everything I needed and. .. I could return anything I didn’t use. (Of course I didn’t, everything I purchased I wanted to keep, the wines were reasonably priced and amazing!) Gary has since assisted me with several parties and a huge event that I chaired. Now 20 plus years later I can’t imagine going anywhere else. They’re locally owned and treat you like family. (They kind you like) The new location is amazing and it’s so much easier to get in and out of. I also want to make sure that I mention the staff, they are all very knowledgable and helpful without hovering (I despise hovering salespeople, sometimes you just want to look at the bottles) They always carry your purchase to your car and won’t accept a tip. I can’t recommend them highly enough. If you’re not in West County I encourage you to make the drive. You won’t be disappointed!

This was like nirvana for folks looking for something to drink! The new store is huge, clean, and welcoming.
I stopped in for a some random beers and stayed for whiskey tasting. Also picked up some wine and vodka. Glad they have carts!
Helpful and knowledgeable staff. if the person you are talking to doesn’t know the spirit you are interested they will get the expert over to you asap. And no question seems to phase them (esp from newbies like me trying new spirits).
I will be back!

oh i found beer heaven with this establishment yesterday!!! it is by far the best selection of beers of any store in the missouri, illinois area on both sides of the river. with 700 brands it truly is the mecca of beerdom!!! staff was great and loaded my haul in my truck for me. cant wait to go back and take even more time to look everything over. thanks for everything, it is top notch! !!

Oh Mecca… This place is huge and I can’t say enough good things about it. Walked in and there were a ton of employees. After I looked lost and in awe, one of them approached me to ask if I needed anything and then proceeded to give me a tour. Hello, there’s a BAR IN THIS PLACE! He ushered me to the back of the store and I got a $ 5 glass of wine. They also have draft brews on tap as well as other fine spirits. You can also bring food in and grab anything from the store and open it. They don’t charge a corking fee either. They just open it and are glad you can enjoy it.
So, as instructed, I sipped my wine through the isles to check out what they had. Their scotch selection is the best I’ve seen in St. Louis — hands down. Beer selection was out of this world as well. It’s separated by region and I was so happy to only see a tiny section devoted to Bud Light. This is THE place to go for craft brews.
Also grabbed a case of wine and happily accepted the 15% discount for buying more than 6 bottles. The icing on the cake — they have a loading bay where you can drive up and they will load your precious cargo into your vehicle. No asking, they just do it and are glad to do so. Every single one of the dozens of employees there were so nice and helpful! When you go, plan to be there for a bit and enjoy the isles and what this place has to offer.
