The Nail Spa

Recently moved to the area and started coming here… absolutely love it! Friendly and fun atmosphere, the women welcome you right from the get go. I get a natural shallac manicure and sugar massage and it’s worth every penny!

I got a regular manicure and a massage here, two separate visits.
Manicure: 3 out of 5 stars in terms of cuticle fixing, nail shape, and nail polish application.
Massage: 5 out of 5 for the therapist. 0 out of 5 for the massage room, ambiance etc.
Manicure: The manicure was done by the salon owner. She does them super quick, 15 min. It’s not at all pampering or relaxing, but efficient. But again…15 minutes… if you gotta get it done asap, she’s your person. If you want to feel pampered, don’t go here.
Massage: The therapist is amazing. She doesn’t work there full time, she does live real close. She’s definitely very experienced and knows the human physiology very well. For her skills give her ¹⁰⁄₁₀. However, the massage room is a broom closet at back of the already tiny salon. The door is a flimsy sliding thing and you hear every loud conversation at the nail stations about 2 feet from the door. Also, the headrest on the massage table was broken when I went, so that was uncomfortable.

I have been going here regularly for 8 years or maybe more, and even though I moved 30 minutes away, I refuse to go elsewhere.

Loved my nails! Will go back!

I used to live right across the street from this little gem in Ellington. I recently moved to West Hartford and still make the trip out because of the excellent customer service and outstanding prices. Definitely worth a visit!

I LOVE the nail spa. The girls are like my family, I’m always looking forward to going back! The spa is known for friendliness, and cleanliness. They have specials with every season, which can save you money on an amazing experience! They also offer a range of special pedicures, facials and massages. Katie, the massage therapist, is seriously AH-​MAZING.

I have been to a few nail spas and this is the best in the area. They have been courteous and always offer you tea or coffee. I had never had such pampering in a nail spa before. I have found all of the women to be very efficient and they give you the «spa feeling». I feel that the prices are very reasonable, the work areas are very comfortable and people are friendly and remember your name and preferences in the treatment you desire. I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

I can’t believe this place has no reviews yet. I found this place last week and I am SO glad I did. The ladies here are wonderful! The shop is small, but the atmosphere is really just great. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, and they even made me a hot cup of tea! I went in for the removal of gel nails and to start the process of repairing my natural nails after the gels. The techs at Nail Spa were all very clearly knowledgeable about what they were doing, and helped me pick the best option for what I wanted and my habits. My favorite part? No drills!
