Very clean, fast friendly service. The room looked and smelled like it had recently gotten a new carpet put in. The counters, sink and bathtub looked relatively new as well. Bed was not as comfy, but at least it felt clean. What did bug me about the bed though, was that there was no fitted sheet on the mattress. It was just a flat sheet, so it moved around a bit and gathered in some places. We liked the park across the street. Great for the kids after a long drive. Breakfast was a bit of a joke, but we’d rather have oatmeal from McDonalds, so that wasn’t an issue for us. Overall this is a fine place to rest your head for a night.

Very clean rooms and the beds were relatively comfortable. However, my sister’s non smoking room reeked of cigarettes and the air conditioning did not work well at all. Aside from the breakfast, AC, and lack of elevators — the hotel was clean and comfortable. If I were by myself I would stay here again. Average or slightly above I suppose!

I’ve stayed at budget hotels that were comparable for less money, but it is what it is. Overall, I think the rate is acceptable, but it’s a basic motel with very basic furniture. Not really a good value, but acceptable. I guess I just figured staying in Elko wouldn’t cost over $ 60. The room was fairly clean. I definitely didn’t feel gross staying there! The bed was ok, as was the shower. If I remember correctly, the heater was somewhat noisy.

Clean, friendly service, affordable, close to everything in the city of Elko. Will stay again

This Days Inn is small, but well cared for. The rooms are clean with more modern furniture and décor than I was expecting. The beds are a bit on the soft-side and our room had double beds rather than queen size. The place was definitely showing its age, but we had a pleasant stay at an affordable rate. The night we stayed was about $ 59/night. There is basic cable, WiFi, and a continental breakfast(of the pastry/bread sort). Like other cheaper places, be sure to bring your own shampoo!

It doesn’t look like much from the outside but we had a wonderful stay! The room was nice and cool when we arrived and stayed that way the whole night. The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet, and the temperature was perfect! My husband, kids, and I all slept great. Nice owners. Good value!

The beds keep improving as I sleep my Nevada nights. My bed was comfortable, with more padding than either of my last two motels, the pillow collection satisfactory. This week I stumbled into an unwritten Nevada small motel rule, «No shampoo.» The Days Inn has it, and a decent shower. Reading Jef B.‘s it appears the place has been redone. Prices are higher. My breakfast, eaten as I type these words is Raisin Bran, industrial banana bread, a banana and coffee. No malt waffles or conveyor belt pancakes here folks. But also no cellopane wrapped sugar bomb cinnamon rolls of uncertain age perched next to a window blasting them with the moning sun.

You want cheap, you got it. A surprising number of amenities considering the price. A nice alternative to the pricier properties, and a good idea if you’re just zipping through town like we were.

It’s easy to get a bad impression of this place — but remember it’s nearly $ 40 /night. The furniture is scratched. The door looks like it’s been kicked in a couple of times. Creaky floor, musty odor in the room. But everything works — the iron, the microwave, frig. Hot water in the shower. Everything was very clean. Bed was comfortable. This is what you get for less than half of the Holiday Inn — nobody can keep everything looking shiny and sharp if they are charging $ 40/night for a room. This is one of those places for when you’re just passing through. Why pay for all the frills of the Holiday Inn when you just need a place to crash for a few hours? Elko is a strange place any way you slice it. Small city with more high speed police chases in the night than I have ever experienced. Great place to live, eh?

Small room with a distinct«hotel» odor. Clean. Bathroom needed some repair. Free continental breakfast is very poor: limited selections, located in the mini-size lobby with no place to sit, food must be taken to the room. Not up to what Days Inn used to be.
