Went in for lunch and the owner sat me. He asked if I needed a menu and I said no I know what I would like. He walked away and never came back. So I got up and walked out after 15 minutes. Food isn’t that great to sit around and wait for someone to come take my order. Enter at your own risk.

The staff are very friendly. The Food is good but I will admit it is Americanized Chinese Food. The lunch menu has very cheap foods if you go in during lunch time.

The food at China Star is fantastic. LARGE portions with great flavor. We have gone there for years.
We have become snow birds and can’t wait to get back to Elkhart in the spring to go to China Star.
The staff is friendly and make you feel like family.

Not edible. That is simple. Health code violations are possible. Chemical flavors were clearly evident. I ate only the rice. I am all in for cheap Americanized «Chinese» food on occasion, but I will never occasion this place again. Some of the worst food I have ever had.

China Star is THE BEST Chinese food around. We often drive across town to pick up their food even though at least three other places are closer.
My one and only complaint is that they are not open on Sundays so we could pick it up on the way home from church.
