Went here because of the 15.99 sign for the massage. You are in a room with about 6 chairs or less, really tiny room and you can hear every single little thing. From the moans and groans of the person getting a massage, to the chitter chatter of the clients getting their hair cuts in the next door over! It was just not a relaxing atmosphere.

I wanted to try this place out because the other haircut place I use to go lost all their good barbers(stylists?) and they kept destroyed my hair twice in a row. This place does massage too, which I didn’t try, but when you enter the business there is a hallway leading to several private rooms where I assume the massages occur. The waiting area is very small and cramped, luckily it wasn’t busy so I only had one other person waiting. There are only 5 chairs in the waiting area, so if it gets busy you might be very uncomfortable sitting next to several unknown people. I waited about 10 minutes and was seen by the stylist«Heather». She did an excellent job on my haircut and actually listened to what I wanted. She was the only hairstylist working at that time, so I am unsure of what the other stylists are like. If you visit this business, ask for Heather and she will take care of you! They accepted Visa card for payment.

I became aware of this business via postcard/coupon in the mail. The list of coupon prices they offered looked very reasonable: 1 hour foot & body massage — $ 15.99 1 hour deep tissue body massage — $ 18.99 1 hr. foot &1 hr. body massage — $ 29.99 1 hour back & shoulder massage — $ 18.99 Kids & senior hair cuts — $ 6.99 Regular hair cuts — $ 7.99 Since my boyfriend’s birthday was coming up, I decided that he might enjoy the 1 hour body &1 hour foot massage. The postcard does not mention if they accept walk-ins or by appointment. Fortunately I called to inquire first and was told that indeed an appointment must be scheduled. After getting a same day appointment, I was looking forward to a nice, relaxing few hours getting pampered, and hoping that my boyfriend would be able to enjoy his birthday gift likewise. When we arrived at the salon, I noticed how long and narrow the office space was. Very basic and plain looking. A few hair cutting stations with some side rooms that were used for the spa treatments. I started to feel a little nervous and tense that this place didn’t seem that inviting as a place for relaxation purposes. But we were there and decided to go through with it. The staff were friendly and receptive at least. My BF was escorted to his own private room for the body massage as was I to another room. My room was small and right by the front entrance. As I undressed to get ready for my massage, I noticed the room to be chilly and I couldn’t wait to get under some warm covers or towels. I was directed to lie face down on the massage table, where you put your face into the opening of the padded table. My masseuse was named Benson and didn’t say much. Probably because he didn’t speak English. He did a satisfactory job at getting my tenseness to lighten up a bit. Communication was uncomfortable though, because about halfway through my massage, he got up and left without saying a word! I then wondered if my session was over. Should I stay put? Should I get up and get dressed? After about 5 minutes he returned with some hot, moist towels to place on my back. Good thing I decided to stay in place! After the body massage was finished, I was cued to dress and return to the lobby entrance. That is when I was led to another backroom where a row of comfy lounge chairs are located to start our foot massages. My boyfriend was already there resting with a towel over his face. They then proceeded to soak our feet for about 10 minutes followed by some reflexology. I enjoyed the procedure, except for the deep tissue portion of my calves getting manhandled. It was another story for my boyfriend who wasn’t too impressed with his body massage at all! Apparently all he got was deep elbowing into his muscles. And due to a lack of communication, his session was even cut short. Not much relaxation techniques were used on him! When everything was over, we got up to give a tip. The plan was to give each masseuse a $ 5.00 bill. I gave my 5, but because of the darkness of the room, my boyfriend accidentally handed a one dollar bill to his guy. He commented about how the man didn’t seem too receptive. We didn’t realize that the $ 5.00 was still in his wallet until after he got home! Sorry, but we had to bust out laughing! I guess it was probably well deserved anyway! I don’t know if we’ll be returning here again any time soon, but we did get a stack of more coupons if anyone wants them!
