Alyssa is an amazing stylist. She is so sweet and made me feel right at home. I am very particular with my hair color and she definitely nailed it! She went above and beyond for me and that is something I, myself as a customer value! Thank you, Alyssa!

I came across this place randomly because my usual hair stylist just recently retired and so I needed a fresh cut for an event I was going to this past weekend. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by the owner, Alissa. Because I have been going to my old hair stylist for years I was a bit nervous to get a cut at a new place but I decided to just give it a try anyways. Boy was I not disappointed! Alissa gave me a great haircut exactly the way I wanted it. She was also kind enough to not charge me for washing and shampooing my hair after either. But since I loved the haircut and the great service so much I of course gave a good tip. Now that I have found Alissa I will keep coming back every time I need a cut for sure!

Alyssa was just wonderful! I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted, but she threw out some suggestions and talked about some highlights. I’m glad I went with what she suggested. We did it all in 1 session, thank goodness. She dyed it to a lighter ash brown and I just gottah say, I love it! Thank you so much! I will deffinatley tell all my friends and family to come here.

I got my nails done by Nani. I didn’t really like it. One, she almost cut me. Two, my nails are not even at all. Three, some of my nails are bumpier than most. I also came here at around 1 pm. I got done with my nails at around 3:30 pm. I don’t really mind waiting, but my nails were not even and not perfect. Now I’m really contemplating whether or not to go back.

Did not like the outcome of my hair. The owner has an attitude and she’s unprofessional. Don’t go here!!!

Came here randomly because it was right down the street from my house. Alyssa did an amazing job– made good conversation but wasn’t a complete chatterbox which I appreciated. Cut and style was only $ 15– I loved it. Will return again for sure.
Update: took my boyfriend back here because I enjoyed Alyssa’S work so much. Alyssa was sadly unavailable so we were stuck with a lady with the first initial K I think. She did a horrible job-​did not listen to what he wanted and kept pushing her idea of what looks good on him. We tried to explain it to her but she was so pushy we gave in to her idea of what a good haircut is. Bad choice. Next time, I would definitely try to book Alyssa in advance.

I was in desperate need of color and a cut. I do have a specific person I go to religiously, but my sisters (and my baby niece) recommended that I try out another salon. I made an appointment with Alyssa at Aye Salon.
She has a really cute and humble salon located in Laguna. Her shop is purple (my favorite color!) and it was very easy on the eyes. Simple and clean with 2 tvs to keep ourselves entertained.
Alyssa was very attentive to what I wanted. I asked for certain colors and she went ahead and showed me the colors that she had. She also helped me yank out a few stubborn white hair that I could never reach! We had a few conversations about the worst haircut I’ve had, to colors that looks good and not good. She was overall super friendly and easy to talk to.
I would recommend everyone to come here. :)

My daughter and I had been needing to find a new hair and nail salon. Going about 6 months since our last haircut. I found them online, they have fabulous reviews and they take walk — ins so we gave them a try. I’m so glad we found Aye Salon and Spa! Nails — by them are great! All the ladies were friendly and inviting, which is always nice! Alyssa took care of our haircuts, she was friendly and chatting throughout the experience. She took her time, was detailed and nailed it! I felt amazing when i walked out. So happy i found this Elk Grove Gem!!! We will be going back on a regular from now on! Thanks ladies!!!

I drive from Vallejo, about an hour each way, just to get my hair done here by Alyssa. I trust only her to cut and or color my hair. She is absolutely the BEST! She takes her time, listens to what I want and has great recommendations. My hair always turns perfect.

Thank you Alyssa! My hair came out perfect, exactly what I wanted! I was able to make an appointment like the the very next day! Came in and we got started right away. She was honest and very knowledgeable! She gave a few suggestions and she took her time making sure it was perfect! Took 4.5 hours and the results is perfect! Thank you I will definitely come back in a few months maybe for a trim lol.

All the girls are great… Katie is my girl who always knows there is no such thing as too much bling… we make a few hours grab a star bucks next door and mani pedi and trim my hair love the spoiling we get here

Every time I have come to see Alyssa she has done an amazing job on my hair! She is very knowledgable and makes her recommendations on colors and cuts for people like me who have no clue! She is also very thorough and never does a rushed job! You can tell Alyssa loves what she does! I Always enjoy my time while my hair is getting colored and cut! I truly feel pampered!

Nice people though

Got my hair done here and haven’t gone to anyone in a while do to bad experiences. I asked for a specific red and showed Andrea the exact color, I’ve asked for this color twice at another salon and I couldn’t tell a difference in my hair and was only told that I could see it if I «went out in the sun» and the only way to get my hair the red I want was with bleach and I don’t bleach my hair. Andrea did an amazing job and didn’t use bleach, my new hair stylist.

So I have had a handful of bad hair experiences. As do we all. I went there first for a walk in pedicure and found out she also did hair. I booked an appointment the next weekend, I was nervous all week!!! i haven’t loved my hair like this in years! I’m so happy I took a chance with Andrea and found a hair artist! My feet still look good too :)

I was trying to get a last minute lash perm and luckily they had an opening. Not only did Alyssa do a great job, but she was super friendly. I’ll definitely be back for future lash services.

My go to for my nails. I am going to Alyssa for all my bridal events now, even taking my groom along with me! On weekends she sometimes does mimosas when you have certain services which is really fun! She always takes her time and makes sure my nails are perfect. Another stylist made my husband super comfortable as it was his first time receiving nail treatment. I truly appreciate Aye salon!

I bought the Groupon for AYE a while back. I made an appointment with Alyssa since I heard so many good things about her and went in about 5 minutes early. As soon as I arrived some girl there (possibly Alyssa?) told me that I would have to wait for another 30 minutes. Uhhh what’s the point of an appointment then? So I just left.
I went back about one month later with an appointment and showed up early again. This time it wasn’t for Alyssa, but just with anyone available since I wanted to get the Groupon out of the way. An older Asian woman helped me. I didn’t want to tell her I had a Groupon because I knew she wouldn’t perform her best if she knew. However, her first question was how I was going to pay. I found that extremely rude and irrelevant. Since she now knew I was paying with a Groupon, she breezed through my nails. I got a basic pedicure and gel manicure.
The nail polish of my pedicure came off that night. And my gel manicure looked good at first, but one week later I noticed she didn’t even push my cuticles back and the nail polish started to rise. I usually go to Laguna Day Spa for manicures where I have NEVER had this issue. Laguna Day Spa also uses the same brand of Gel so that makes me wonder what AYE does differently, maybe water down their formula? I would definitely never go back to AYE. Horrible service and results. Maybe they handle non-​Grouponers better?
The older Asian woman was very sweet though (regardless of asking how I would be paying) and the place was rather clean so I gave them 2 stars.

I looooove Alyssa! She has awesome customer service and her work is always up to par. The salon is very well kept and inviting. I always come here to get my nails done and she always does exactly what I ask. Today she gave me little mermaid inspired nails! I am in love with them! I totally recommend Aye Salon to all my ladies! :)

For an up and coming business who recently just switched to new management, Aye Salon & Spa provides you with the best service that you pay for. I actually came across this Salon that is actually a 5 minute drive from my house on Groupon. Before purchasing it, I decided to call and see if they had any appointments available before Christmas. Alyssa answered and was happy to accommodate what I was interested in, haircut, partial highlights, and style.
This is such a friendly atmosphere. All of the girls get along very well and they are very conversational.
I haven’t gotten a haircut for about a year and Alyssa did her best to cut off most of my dead ends without cutting too much off. I love my long lengthy hair. & I absolutely love my partial highlights because they blend so well into my natural ombré. After the style and all, I was out of there in 2 hours as she mentioned I would be. I’m sure all of the other girls would have done just as well as she did.
Sometimes we have to take these Unilocal reviews with a grain of salt b/​c you just have to take the experience in for yourself to see what you would expect.
I will be back in Feb to cut the rest of my split ends away! Thank you Alyssa and the girls for making my visit a good one!
