The service was amazing. Our waitress was kind and funny. We ordered the Yucatan pizza and it was a great example of fusion food. The bread was super soft and the toppings, especially the meat, was delicious. The atmosphere is endearing as well. Reccomend this place :)

Have been to this place a couple times! There food is good! But their bar is horrible there always out of their ingredients and their are multiple servers who tend to overlap drink ordered and food orders which cause your experience to be quiet disruptive! Overall there menu is unique and if you do get a drink their sangria is pretty good… don’t get their martinis you will be disappointed

I don’t want to give a bad review because I want this place to be wonderful. I really liked my server and, unlike last time when I walked out, I was greeted cordially at the door. I also like the idea — Italian and Mexican blends of recipes. It’s an interesting juxtaposition that I’m surprised hasn’t been explored more. So, maybe it was what I ordered. I had the chicken mole. Technically I know it’s chocolate and chicken but does it have to taste like someone melted a chocolate bar on some shredded chicken breast? It felt like a bad experiment. I have also had the Mexican lasagna when I came in before. That was all right but nothing extra special. I love the atmosphere here. So dramatic with the heavy chairs, giant red curtains, huge murals on the wall. Just wish the food had the same punch.

I’ve been here several times throughout the years and it’s truly a unique place! With walls decorated with gorgeous artwork and a welcoming staff, Todo Un Poco is an intriguing place to eat. I love both Mexican and Italian food, and this place features both cuisines on its menu. I most recently came here a few weeks ago to celebrate my birthday and enjoyed my Todo Un Poco Sampler plate that came with a tamale, chile relleno, chicken mole, rice, beans and is adorned with four slices of fried bananas. It also comes with a slice of flan for dessert, which is a great way to finish the meal. Although on a past visit I had a bland chicken and cilantro spaghetti, the food was good on this visit and I enjoyed everything! I had plenty to take home for a second meal which I ate later in the week and I think the waitress overheard me mention my birthday because she brought out my flan with a birthday candle, which was nice. There were two other tables in the restaurant at the time we left, and we found out that they both also were celebrating birthdays that night, in addition to a family member of who I think is the owner. The coffee one of the people in my party ordered took a long time to come out, which cut into our plans of watching the NBA playoffs, and the waitress maybe could have explained that the machine was being slow to warm up, but we had DVR at home, so it wasn’t a big deal. Although I keep hoping for the wow factor here, this is a place I’ll continue to visit every now and then.

OMG! This was the best cheat day of my life. The food was amazing. I got the Todo un Poco Sampler and enjoyed every item on the plate. The chicken molé was my favorite. The dessert was flan… Which wouldn’t be my first choice, but it was good. Our server was very friendly and efficient.

I realize you are wondering why it is a combo Mexican and Italian restaurant and I don’t know why, we asked and they said, it was Maria’s idea, with a big smile. It is a neat atmosphere and the food was pretty darn good too. We had the special combo pizza and it was good, top to bottom. Our kids had Mexican food and they said it was very good. Give it a try!

The chicken burrito lasted me two meals. It was absolutely delicious with no add-ons needed. I ate the second half about 3 days later and it still tasted absolutely delicious. My friend got the Punjabi Pizza which was also very tasty, I was very surprised at how authentic it tasted. I will definitely be back for more! I went during dinner time around 5 pm and it wasn’t crowded at all. The ambiance is very nice, calm, and«cool,» they have large red and black curtains that cover the windows when the sun is shining in. They also give chips and salsa on the house as starters, both items were great, as expected. I just went in looking for a good tasting burrito since we do not have many great Mexican places in town, and this place hit the spot! Would defintely recommend to friends and family.

With subtle signage on the street, it’s easy to miss this little gem, so keep your eyes peeled. Impressive, fun atmosphere with wall size murals of Zapata and Day of the Dead celebrations. But the decorations just get you into the mood for the great food. The menu might be a bit too big, but everything is delicious. There is a choice of Mexican or Italian with some fusion dishes, like the Punjabi pizza which gives a nod to co-owner Mannie’s Indian heritage. You wouldn’t think potatoes, cauliflower and Indian spices would be good on a pizza, but it’s my favorite dish. But i also love the chile rellanos and the salad Maria. The garlic bread is to die for. Co-owner Marie is a first rate sommelier in training and there is a great selection of wines and nice guidance for the perfect wine to complement your meal. Don’t forget the delicious churros for dessert. This restaurant has been on Best Restaurant lists for the Sacramento region. It’s easy to see why.

Todo un Poco has potential for more stars but for my one time visit, I say 3 is fair. Our server, which is quite possibly the owner, was amazing. She was friendly, gave us recommendations, knew the menu and specials very well, attentive and welcoming. She made me a mean coffee martini that I really enjoyed. While we waited for our food, we enjoyed observing the décor and debating whether the paintings were of the owners. We concluded that they were, which makes this the cutest mom and pop place ever. We ended up ordering two specials: Pozola Verde and Pasta Portuguesa. The Pozola Verde came with chicken flautas topped with all the good stuff: cabbage, two kinds of salsa, cheese and I believe sour cream. They were a nice, unexpected surprise. Then our entrees came out and we quickly found out that we were better suited for each others’ entrees. His Pozola Verde was a green stew with shredded chicken and the green really threw him off. I, on the other hand, loved the flavors. I also added the complimentary tortilla chips to get a crunch here and there. As for my Pasta Portuguesa, it ended up being more like a shrimp and sausage spaghetti. Considering he loves spaghetti, I thought he’d enjoy it more than me but we agreed that there wasn’t enough flavor. The sausage was more like cut up hot dogs and the shrimp were small, which wasn’t cutting it for being a $ 24 dish. Perhaps the numerous 5 star reviews hyped it up for me but I was expecting the food to be a lot better. However, because of the service, I’ll be back to try items on their actual menu!

Only giving this place 2 Star’s because the service was good and the taco shell that held the mozzarella sticks was awesome. The salsa tasted like tomato paste. The enchiladas verde was topped with sour verde sauce… The chicken Mole burrito wasn’t terrible but was not good. The«guacamole» was good — if you like avocado salad. Next time I go here, since I always give a place two chances; I will be trying the Italian food. Their Mozzarella sticks were better than McDonalds.:.

This is one of our favorite restaurants! If this were located downtown it would be CRAZY mad packed! It is great for the perfect date night out or for a family! The salsa is a little more tomato saucy and is a perfect blend of Mexican and Italian. My husbands favorite dish is Pasta Jalisco, Spaghetti and carnitas in a mild oregano sauce with cilantro, sour cream, corn and queso fresco. I have tried something new everytime, but I do like their Chicken Mole Enchiladas! The kids usually order Pizza and the crust has the perfect density and crispness. They have a vast kids menu with lots of the basics like Mac and cheese, pasta, burger & fries, bean burrito, quesadilla as well as flautas and a chicken enchilada. I adore the Dia de los Muertos inspired artwork and with the well-paired décor of dark red walls with heavy curtains. The staff is always prompt and knowledgeable, more professional than friendly!

The food and service here was amazing. The food tasted authentic, I had the mole chicken chilaquiles topped with a fried egg so delicious. For dessert I ordered a tres leches cake it was perfection. I will definitely return, customer service was very nice as well. Not to mention they let us sample some Portuguese wine and it was a very nice complimentary gesture.

My wife and I have been here 4 or 5 times, we have tried something different every time and we have been amazed each and every time. I just had the special of the night Pork Adobo Empanadas, so delicious so much flavor! One of the best points of our visits is the owner, she is so nice and so excited about the food and wine. We love Todo Un Poco! You can’t go wrong with anything you order!

Went here for a group dinner with 18 other people. In terms of service, they were pretty fast with getting our orders out to us although our group was large. The staff was very friendly and even gave us separate checks, although their menu clearly stated that they did not normally split checks. One complaint would be that my friend’s water glass had something floating in the water so she asked for a new glass. The waiter was kind enough to bring another glass of water, but that glass had dirty lipstick marks on the side! My friend was appalled and didn’t drink water the rest of the night. Atmosphere ~ This place is decorated with beautiful murals on the walls. The lighting is pretty dark, but it contributes to the setting. All of the walls are painted with portraits and settings that fit perfectly with the restaurant’s overall theme. I’d recommend checking the place out just to see it all. Onto the food ~ I ordered the enchiladas verdes with carnitas that came with a side of black beans and rice(~$ 12). It came with three enchiladas that were okay in taste. There wasn’t anything terrible about it, but for the price I expected better. The side of rice was also pretty small. I also tried the La Bandera Plate(~$ 12) which came with three chicken enchiladas in red, white, and green. Like the flag! Get it — la bandera? haha. I preferred the carnitas enchiladas to the chicken ones in terms of flavor and consistency, but the chicken was pretty soft and tender. Drinks ~ the margaritas there are HUGE for the price of $ 9. I had a taste of my friend’s strawberry margarita and it was delicious. Probably wouldn’t come again for dinner, but I might go back to check out their brunch.

Nice décor aside, I have one thing to say. I have always wondered what the Olive Garden would taste like if it had a Taco Bell aftertaste. I know Unilocal blocks all 300+ of my reviews so few will see this, but it the chicken in my pasta genuinely tasted like leftover from their chicken enchiladas. I hope El Chapo burns this place to the ground

I must not order the right entrées. Pizzas are mediocre. This time I chose the chicken cannelloni with marinara sauce. The cannelloni filling was ok, marinara had no flavor, and the shredded chicken portion hardly present. It too was not seasoned. The green salad, shredded lettuce, may as well have been presented as garnishing. Another dish served was their chicken sandwich. Wait till you see the picture I’m posting. Where is the chicken, you ask? Apparently they had just enough to share between our two plates. Tasteless too, but nothing that catsup won’t fix…

This little gem completely surprised me. Based on its exterior, I was a little nervous to go in. There’s graffiti on the awning and broken bits and pieces… definitely needs a bit of TLC. However, the eclectic interior needs to stay the same. Forever. Because it’s awesome. Service was great, maybe because I let them know that it was my first time there. They came out to check on us and let us know about the specials and popular items. We ended up with a mixture of Mexican and Italian dishes, with garlic braids to start. The bread could have been more garlicky, but it was hot, fresh and cheesy. My dish was the Pasta Jalisco, which I devoured. It’s a spaghetti dish with carnitas and corn served in a spicy sauce. Not too spicy! Great flavor. Tender pork. It also comes with fried bread, dusted with cheese. The next time(literally three days later) I had the chicken and cilantro pasta. Although not as flavorful as the Pasta Jalisco, it was still very good. It comes with a creamy sauce and a very serious amount of cilantro. The combination reminded me of guacamole, actually. The other people in my party didn’t get as excited about their food as I did with mine, but I really did enjoy this little place. Some of their menu items might be overpriced for what you get, but that’s subjective. I give it four stars for the food and for being family owned with great service.

Awful! There food is not Mexican. I ordered Chicken Mole Enchiladas. Inside enchilada was plain chicken wrapped in a corn tortilla. No seasoning, cheese or other ingredients. A very bland mole sauce and sour cream was on top. The beans were not Mexican style. The beans were filled with a plain tomato sauce. It was so bad I walked around the restaurant and everyone’s plate was barely eaten. This restaurant has great reviews! All I could figure is the chef must of called in sick with no replacement. Total waste of $ 35 bucks.

I have been here twice: The first time I came there, the place was kind of empty with not much customers. The service was very slow where my boyfriend and I didn’t get our dishes for a while. But the workers were very friendly and respectful, they continually checked up on us, showed appreciation for our patience, apologized for the delay, and even served us free salads for having us wait. When our dishes arrived, both were very delicious and authentic Mexican food. The place itself also compliment the great food they served. It seemed to have a lot of cultural and cinco de mayo as a theme in my opinion. I do love it though. The setting is very fitting and artsy. The place is small, but I find it very unique and comfortable. It felt like my boyfriend and I were treated with care and special for being the last customers despite the slow service at the beginning. The second time I went there again with my boyfriend, we were greeted and recognized immediately by the workers. It seemed very busy, but we were seated quickly. I noticed the service was a bit slow, but again, they were very friendly and the food was tasty. I would want to go back again for it became my favorite Mexican Restaurant now despite I actually don’t eat many Mexican food. But I sure love this one!:) hehe. I would recommend what I ordered: Steak Burrito. It may sound like something typical because I order a burrito. But the burrito dish itself was not typical. I find it very interesting and amazing that the chef decided to make the Mexican flag colors as the sauces on there. It’s also probably the best burrito I have ever eatten Lolz. My boyfriend order the lasagna and Tomales, which also turned out to be very well made and unique :)

Very dissapointed with my experience on food after my high expectations from others Unilocal reviews. the food was in the price range between 15 – 20 a plate. I don’t feel that the food was authentic mexican. All my plates were masked with tomatoe sauce, tomatoe sauce that tasted like it was from a can and not freshly made. With the tomatoe sauce covering all the food we ordered was also guacamole and sour cream. We ordered the 3 regions tamales: there was so much masa and sauce we didn’t taste the fillings within the three tamales. 3 different Tamales were supposed to be cheese, potatoes and chicken. 3 enchiladas: the best of the 3 entrees we ordered. Even though All the enchiladas were masked with sauces, we were able to taste the fillings in this dish. The enchiladas were still mediocre. Todo Un Poco sampler: it has the tamales, enchiladas and chile relleno on it along with a soaked cake dessert at the end. Wish we ordered this dish only so we would have know what to order after. This was the most expensive dish. The chile relleno was filled with cheese. That was not bad. The soaked cake dessert, didn’t care for it. Queso appetizer: it was melted cheese on a hot plate with hot tortillas. The best dish of all! Chips and salsa on the house: salsa tasted like canned or bottle salsa. Chips were fresh. Michelada: highlight of my dinner. Yummy beer with extra chile in my beer. It is located in a very quit part of elk grove and in a very dead plaza. The atmosphere is dark and all their décor is of the dead paintings, like skulls and skeletons.

This place has a really cool environment, excellent food and service. We were sat pretty fast and the wait staff is totally personable. They really work hard to make you feel comfortable. The owner works there doing whatever she can do, waiting, cleaning, cooking. But she is the nicest person making sure everyone’s needs are met in the whole restaurant. The environment is way cool. No it’s not your typical beige colored walls and white ceiling. It actually has some culture. That’s what makes this place unique. You can go in this restaurant and feel like you left elk grove for a while. Even though your right by Laguna Blvd you don’t hear or see the road. It’s totally casual and a great place to have a drink and appetizers or stay and eat. They have a ton of different wines on hand. I had a awesome mango margarita my wife highly recommends the sangria. The food is fresh, excellent and hot. If your not sure what you want they make great recommendations and you won’t be dissapointed. I highly recommend this place and I’m pretty picky. Stop by there and try it out if you are dying for a little escape from the go life and want to relax with a great change of scenery. Enjoy!

From the moment you enter, you will notice the nice ambiance this restaurant offers. Open seating and dining in a cozy environment. Yes they serve both Mexican and Italian food, but it works and offers plenty to all the taste buds at the table. Good for a date night, families and kids. A few things to note, the servers are friendly and try to do their best to accommodate managements obvious lack of staffing on a consistent basis. One server it seemed for half the place is not ok on a Friday night. It’s difficult for them to be attentive on re filling your chips and salsa or your drinks since they always seem to be short staffed. And a common theme here is there lack of keeping beer in stock. It was a Friday night and they were out of Stella and corona, so I settled for modelo. And the excuse was they sold out on taco Tuesday! It’s Friday now, you mean to tell me you couldn’t restock in 3 days? This is a constant theme there. The food, it’s ok. Not great and not bad either, it’s just ok. We left feeling full but not satisfied. And it felt like we had to put in work to order, get drink refills and to even get the check. 3 stars for a last minute get together or date night and your not sure where to go. Check it out at least once to get your own perception.

I came here on my first visit with all of my mother’s coworker for a lunch appreciation event. Interior What really caught my attention the most was the interior of the restaurant. Everything Dia de los Muertos theme. Many painting portraits are hung up the wall. Food Since it was a lunch event with all of my mother’s coworker, we we’re served with a buffet. If I recall correctly, I remember being served with lasagna and sliced potatoes. Once I took a bite, my taste buds were satisfied. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Mexican and Italian cuisine ~ great menu! You’ll find a variety on both types of food here. Their options are extensive and you’ll definitely be needing a minute or two more to zero in on a plate of your craving. First world problems. I opted for one of their Italian entrees, Cannelloni de Pollo(Two Crepes w/chicken, spinach, and ricotta cheese, finished with an Alfredo sauce) $ 12.95 — A good and simple combination that very went well with the crunch of the bread, which reminded me a lot of churros(it’s a good thing). Not a hefty meal for the price, although the quality was there, which made up for it. I have to come back to try another plate(maybe on the Mexican side), and hopefully become a fan, so I can bump this up another star. I have to mention their nice venue, as well. The restaurant itself is a little out of the way, but once you’re inside you’re immediately transported to a clash of old-school Italy and Mexico. I especially liked the artwork on the walls — bold and vibrant. Overall, a good first visit!

This place has been here for years and I’ve had it bookmarked on Unilocal for a few months now. Finally decided to come here since I wanted something new but nearby. The atmosphere is really neat inside — dark and bold, bright murals on the walls, pillows on the chairs. Great for a date night! The menu is extensive and nicely divided between Mexican and Italian cuisine. I love Italian food so it was hard to decide… so I went with both: the Mexican Lasagna! It was a smaller portion than I expected, considering it was $ 17.95. I was filled by the end of the meal but not completely full, and I can get AYCE down the street for practically the same price. Something I found odd was they have their complimentary chips and salsa, and cups of water already pre-made on the counter/bar. How long is it sitting out for?! We came at 6:00, and there was only one other table when we got there. I wonder if their dinner rush is later on if they prepared so many waters and chips? Who knows what kind of bugs or flies there are… or how stale the chips can get… For this restaurant, 3 stars goes to the portion size compared to the price. Service was nothing outstanding but nothing terrible. Normally 3 stars from me means it was good but not good enough to come back. For Todo un Poco, I would come back but only because I would want to try something different. However I’m not eager to come back here right away, but I’ll keep it in the back of my mind if I’m looking for a nice restaurant close to home again!

Came here for a big dinner with coworkers. There were about twenty of us, and considering the group size we were well taken care of. Customer service was great. The only issue I had was that the food was just okay. I wasn’t impressed by anything we tried. However, it was overall a good experience. Really cool ambiance inside restaurant.
