okay so overall it was okay.
I was a little irritated at the lack of a welcome. I was the only customer for a while and I didn’t feel the employees desire to help me. I asked for an item and without really looking at me the lady at the register pointed me in the direction of the item. I looked up and down for the activated charcoal and it was nowhere to be found. This guy with glasses had to find it for me, and it took him a few minutes. He rang me up but he really was bad at small talk. I could tell he couldn’t wait to get away from the register. I really wanted to like this store but I don’t think they actually want to work or talk to their customers.

I’ve been going here for years. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to selecting your supplements. They have tons of different brands of supplement to meet everyone’s need. They usually have really good sales and when they do, I stock up on the product. If you follow them on Instagram, you can see all of their deals and promotion. They are very active on Instagram and offer giveaways. I usually run in, grab my supplement and get on with my day. I will go here any day over some of the other overpriced supplement stores.

Whenever we go here, Richard is such a big help. He projects awesome customer service. I took off one star because they’re always running out of items. Thanks again to Richard for your help every time we come in.

The staff is amazingly friendly. They always offer to help, but I always refuse because I like to just browse the isles nonchalantly and kill time. I’m a sucker for everything organic — they carry Grapeseed oil that is my new holy grail for skincare! If you haven’t tried it, it’s a must. They also have a huge selection of protein which all the gym rats will love. All in all, great products jammed into one location! Say it with me now, #winning!

Customer service is everything. I found the lady who worked there (wish I knew her name) to be incredibly helpful. I would definitely go back!

First thing you notice when you come in is a smile from the sales associates. Any a question if they can help you with anything. they have been very helpful every time i come in. The store has a big selection to choose from and loctation isnt far from the freeway, either coming from the 5 or 99.

I would like to update my review based on several experiences I’ve had with Annette. She is helpful, professional, knowledgable and seems engaged in her job. I am now a customer again here and sending my friends and family to her.
The other guys that work here seem like they hate their job and existence — Annette turned it around for me and I will be giving them my repeat business again.

There is something invigorating about shopping at this store. It has a warm and welcoming air about it. Even the clerks are friendly and helpful. If they don’t have or know what you are looking for, they take the time to investigate for you.
Health and wellness is what it is all about. You’ll find just about everything here in supplement form and in multiple strengths. Vitamins, herbs, protein shakes, homeopathic products, holistic alternatives, cosmetics, hair and skin care. Even if your specific brand isn’t here, there are alternatives that work just as well. I love to take my time and browse the aisles of inventory. There is plenty to see and study. Making those select purchases can add up fast, but their prices are competitive and if you sign up for their emailing list, you get weekly announcement specials and coupons.

We stopped by here on a Sunday after noon looking for high doseage Ferrous Gluconate (Iron) which they did not stock. I needed 200mg and they only had 1.2mg per dose. So Fail, on that!
But the trip was not a total loss. I was amazed at their protein shake walls (plural)…
Boo for not selling Syntrax samples, so I took a chance and bought a $ 34 tub of the chocolate truffle Syntrax and a new shaker.
Made a shake today and it was as good as the salesperson said it would be.
Now, I gotta find one of these places in The City!

I make a visit to the VITAMIN SHOPPE every once a month. If I need to I would come in more. I also have a rewards membership that is attached to my keys. When you sign up and use your membership regularly, you earn some cash to pay at your next order.
I don’t know how much the other Vitamin stores in town charges, but I find it very easy to browse through their isles. In this particular location in Elk Grove, the workers have always been friendly and helpful.

If you haven’t discovered it yet… then get ready to behold the wonders… the wonders of coconut oil! It is one of the healthiest things that you can put into your body. I like to add a teaspoon of it in my protein shake in the morning, I like to use it when sauteeing my veggies, and best yet, I like to add it in when cooking my chicken.
The Vitamin Shoppe not only carries my favorite brand of extra virgin coconut oil, but they sell it alot cheaper than GNC… cool beans! =)
