I want SOBADLY for this place to be decent. Cold beer and wings would be awesome and I’ve been here 20 times as the place has slowly eroded to a joke. It still has cold beer… Then I saw a new menu and thought maybe it would be different! Nope…got my frozen wings to go along with my cold beer. If I wanted frozen wings, I’d go to Costco and get them myself. At half the price. The food has sucked here so bad the last three times I’ve come that I can no longer order food here. Then I walk in and find the owner at the bar drinking a beer himself… the bartender wearing sunglasses indoors like an idiot… and it’s just no longer a place for me. I was there and about 3 others… so it is too bad. Stay away until the food quality improves.

Came here for the first time with the hubby for a quick bite one afternoon. We ordered the garlic parmesan and lemon pepper chicken wings along with a side of onion rings. I expected the wings to be finger lickin’ good and blasting with flavor… like, you know how the wings are at Wing Stop and Buffalo Wings! The wings here are definitely a disappointment. They were super tiny and not meaty at all. The lemon pepper wings were totally drenched in oil and it did not look appetizing. The onion rings were mediocre. I was expecting large onions fried in thick batter served piping hot! What came out was super puny rings where when you bit into one, the whole batter falls apart and you’re left with eating just the onion part! What I thought was funny about this place is that the ranch I asked for on the side was served in shot glasses. I couldn’t even dip my chicken wing or an onion ring into the ranch! Lol! Service here was a bit slow considering we were the only two patrons eating at the time. The only time we saw our waitress was when she served our food. When we were finished with our food, we had to wave her down for the bill. That was also the only time she came to replenish our empty glasses of water. Our table had NO napkins and I had to walk 2 tables across from us to snatch some napkins! All in all, this place is not worth coming to. I would recommend driving down the block to Wing Stops for some better wings!!!

I’ll keep it short and simple. The«super» nachos arent even close to that! Cheese was not melted, meat was not hot, and the jalapeños tasted old! The waitress was no where to be found after dropping the drinks and only 1 refill we received at our visit. Flies were everywhere, unlike our waitress. So I would recommend all stay away. I give one star because I got to see the Cowboys lose that Sunday.

My girlfriend and I came here a few weeks ago to watch the football game. First off, they don’t have an alcoholic drink menu. You have to play 21 questions to find out what beers and liquor they have. Anyway, we ended up ordering a pitcher of Blue Moon. Then we decided to get food a little later. We ordered the Calimari which wasn’t that bad except for how greasy it was. We ordered out entrees after. I ordered the philly cheese steak and my girlfriend ordered the BBQ pork sliders. My philly was bad. The meat literally had NO taste and was dry as a bone. I had to douce it with hot sauce. Now onto my girlfriend’s food. The waitress came back to tell us they didn’t have any pork left but the cook could make ground beef sliders. My girlfriend agreed to that. When she got her food I was surprised. It was suppose to come with 3BBQ pork sliders. So naturally I thought the burger sliders would come with 3 as well. Nope! Just 2; one single and one double slider. They just had cheese on them. No ketchup, mayo, no sauce whatsoever. Then, when it came time to pay, our server took 30 minutes to realize we had finished eating and wanted our check. Basically, this place sucks. Food is not good ESPECIALLY at the prices they charge. Service is okay. Nothing to rave about.

I live right across the street and about once a year I get sucked into going for a drink and some wings. The place use to be ok and by ok I mean it was always fairly dirty and the food was always mediocre, however, the people who went and servers were cool. It’s gotten worse as this last visit takes the cake. First tried to call in my order, but after calling repeatedly, no answer. After going to the restaurant and calling while there, it appears they turn their ringer off — why have a phone number? I went just to order 15 wings to take home. After sitting at the bar for 5 min to a moderately crowed bar, she finally turns around and starts to take my order, but then gets distracted and leaves. Another server then takes my order. I sit in the bar, she brings my bill, I pay and wait. 30 min later I ask the server for the status. Turns out my order had been sitting for over 15 min. Of course when she goes over the order, it’s wrong. BADSERVICE, MEDIOCREFOOD, HIGHPRICESANDDIRTYASHELL. Really it’s my fault for getting sucked in yearly. Sheldon Bar and Grill — my neighborhood watering hole that I wish would get swallowed by a sink hole.

Horrible horrible horrible! Avoid this place at all cost. I went here last Sunday during the Cowboys game(side note: I am not a football fan). Our waitress sat us down. There were flies everywhere. She took our orders and brought us our drinks pretty quickly. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger with«Garlic Fries». I place that in quotations because they were the worst Garlic Fries I’ve ever had. These fries were a war crime… Where was the garlic? Where was the flavor? It was as absentee as our waitress would soon become. The burger was flat out terrible. I also ordered the California Pig hotdog. It should be called the California Why Bother! A buddy of mine ordered the Super Nachos. They couldn’t make it as the Understudy Nachos. They were barely warm and the cheese wasn’t even melted. My wife had the Gyro and right after she ordered she read a Unilocal review telling her not to do it. Too late, and boy oh boy was she sorry. She didn’t even finish it. Now all these things aside, the worst part of our experience here was the abysmal non-existent service. The waitress brought us 1 drink refill and then quickly went away and forgot we ever existed. Not only did she ignore us, but she ignored that side of the building completely. I had to stand in front of the kitchen door for almost 10 minutes before someone came out to give me ketchup and mustard. They didn’t even have bottles for it, and shook it out into cups. Not getting refills on our drinks to wash down this terrible terrible food, felt like we were swallowing razorblades. So enough was enough and I patiently waited for the waitress to come back from the dead and bring us the damage. She never came. I had to go stand at the front register and wait and wait and wait. Sadly there was a long line of would-be-suckers waiting to be seated. This was going to be a tragedy like that Asiana flight. I wish I could subtly waive them off and get them to dine elsewhere, but as I am not a hater, I left them alone. Finally at the register I was able to get my check, I promptly paid and still left that sorry excuse for a waitress an 18% tip. She did not deserve it at all, I would have rather set the money on fire!!! But alas, I am Black and we have a reputation of being bad tippers and my pride wouldn’t let me skimp even though this place does nothing but skimp on the food, the drinks and the service. Charge it to the game. 1 star for not giving us food poisoning.

Ordered food and it came quick. Above average for bar food. Bad ratings seem to be effecting the amount of customers as we were the only 2 in the dining room(with 5 wait staff socializing by the kitchen, tisk tisk). I’ll come back for the wings.

I guess I was too quick to give out my 4 stars because SB&G really disappointed me today. I was craving sushi but the lady boss wasn’t feeling like sushi so I suggested SB&G since I want to try more items on their menu anyway. She was interested in trying out the gyro and I wanted to see if their gyro is any different than before(I didn’t like them before) so I chose the gyro and she wanted their Oriental Chicken Salad. I picked up my togo order and as soon as I opened the boxes, I knew I wasn’t going to be enjoying my lunch. As I was prepping the paper plates, I told my boss«food doesn’t look good at all» with a sad face and she tried to be optimistic by replying with«well, it sure smells good!». Then I also realized, one thing I’ve always commended them on was their overstocked togo cutlery and condiments. They usually always provide a small paper bag with plastic cutlery and packets of mayo and ketchup that I rarely use and napkins. This time, nothing was prepared at all but luckily we had our own at the office. First, the Oriental Chicken Salad was nothing oriental besides the dressing and a few crispy wonton chips. The lettuce was basic chopped up iceberg lettuce, a few diced tomatoes, slivered almonds and some grilled chicken on the side. My boss and I both use dressing sparingly when we order salads but since the container was only half full for a full salad, neither of us thought we had enough dressing. However. although it still didn’t taste the best, it didn’t taste as bad as I imagined. The dressing was alright; edible and the chicken was tasty, I loved the grill marks. The togo menu said this salad was $ 9 but I think it was about $ 10-$ 11 and for that price, I’d much rather order a salad at Dos Coyotes where it’s premium lettuce piled on with a ton of ingredients and more dressing than you can handle. Then came the gyro. You can choose a side; fries or a salad, so I chose fries since we already had another salad. I’m a bit sad that they don’t offer homemade chips anymore, which was one good thing the old place used to have going on. The thin cut fries were old and soggy and came with a tub of ketchup and ranch. I thought the ranch was tzaziki until I smelled it. Where was the tzaziki?! One of my favorite things about eating a gyro is the tzaziki and there was BARELY any to be seen on the gyro. The pita looked and was dry and was cracking and falling apart. However, again, this item also tasted better than it looked(so it looked like crap but tasted okay). The meat looked dry but wasn’t as dry as expected. The tomatoes and red onions really helped. However, I think the gyro was better before than it is now, meaning I will never order it again. Perhaps it’s just a case of poor choices today. I’d still try other items on the menu before drastically changing my rating again. Side note: they’ve taken pasta off their menu and added a long list of hot dogs!

I had hopes for this place but no…4 things on the menu weren’t available because they were«out of it» ?? What kind of restaurant is out of so many items and the 4th thing we ordered chicken tenders had to be changed to chicken boneless wings. The service took forever and the food was NOT good at all… the fish tacos were so small and hardly any fish on them. The hamburger was nothing but bread, the chili cheese fries tasted like the meat and cheese were just microwaved and out of a can. The last time we will go here. I paid 44 dollars to wait forever for my food that I did not enjoy… save your money.

My wife and I ordered a 25 boneless wings for $ 17.95 on NFL draft night 2013… I swear that there is more chicken in a 6 piece McDonald’s, Mc Nugget box…(there was a lot of breading with very small pieces of chicken in the center).Very, Very disappointed. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. Where the price to food ratio can be justified…

I’ve eaten here a few times when it was Wings and Rings, however, it was just OK. Now they are under new management and the food is really good. They’ve added some entrée’s like Salmon and steak on their menu, in addition to the wings, burgers and sandwiches. So really, it’s a nice family restaurant and not just a sports bar now. The Chef came out and asked us how we were enjoying our dinner. He said everything is made to order and fresh and he was right! My parmesan garlic and lemon pepper wings were crispy, plump and delicious. The onion rings and fried pickles were good too. If you’ve tried them once and didn’t like it, try it again. I think they are really making an effort to serve good food. The service was great, too.

Scratch what I said before. This place royally sucks now that its not Wings n Rings… I wouldn’t feed this food to a homeless person, or my dog. — They made my sons food twice, and didn’t realize it. The second burger they made him came out raw in the middle and fries were cold on both plates. When I told the server that brought the food out, he did apologize, but it wasn’t sincere and he didn’t offer any kind of solution. He barely acknowleged the fact it wasn’t cooked. — They changed the chicken and it looks disgusting. — They changed the sauces and it wasn’t very good. — The server we had was more interested in chatting with the other servers instead of attending to his tables. All in all it was a horrible experience and I’m very disappointed to have a business nearby my home that gives experiences like this to its customers.

Unilocalers are right, I tried this place twice since I live in the area; however disappointed both times. I ordered a mojito and was told they ran out of mint… uh how do you run out of mint? Then a buddy ordered a margarita and when the drink was served was told the bartender did not have the margarita mixing cup? WTF? We ordered the philly cheese and the quesidilla. The philly was just ok and the quesidilla was depressing, but we managed to eat a few more bites before leaving and didn’t even request a to go box… that’s how bad it was. Don’t come here save your money.

My ‘Build Your Own’ burger was really awesome. Good beef, decent bun. My husbands gyro was not worth the $ 9 bucks. For $ 6 dollars you can get one twice the size at Opa Opa. Granted, this is a Bar and Grill and not a Greek joint, but if you advertise a ‘super gyro’ with 50% more meat then the regular… I would expect better. Quiet for a Saturday night, but good atmosphere. Can’t wait to try it Wednesday night for Karaōke.

It saddens me to write this review. We have been big fans of this wing place but fans of Wings and Rings, now the owners decided to branch out and removing the franchise name. Well I did not think removing the franchise would mean EVERYTHING would change! We have been at least 4 – 5 times since the change and we feel nothing but sadness. Basically the owners have brought in new managers, new staff and turned this place into a cheap version of it’s previous self. They have pour stoppers on all the bottles which I think is just silly because if you have professional bartenders who know the craft, this is not needed. It’s called a 3 count! And where are the rolls of paper towels that sat on every table? The paper towels have been replaced with the square napkins. I’m eating wings people! I need large paper towels to get up the BBQ sauce from under my nails and my finger tips! Sadly the service I use to love, I love no longer. We are ignored, drinks take forever and I miss all the old staff members. I did have a conversation with the owners, they expressed changes were needed and employees were taking advantage of them. Well guys, retrain your staff, set boundaries and make the rules! I do not think we will be back. We have always been torn between Bulls wings and Wings and Rings, Thanks for helping us choose. Bull wings it is. After our last visit, we paid for our round of drinks and proceeded to Bull Wings for better service and drinks.

This place won’t be here in a year unless someone has some serious money to throw away. This place did not replace Wings and Rings it just stopped paying the franchise fee. I never was here under it’s old name but have been here a couple of times on Sunday for a game. The first time it was good. OK the food was just OK but the bar tender was good and I was happy to have something that served beer close to the house. The second time it I just had a beer and It was OK too. The bar is nice with lots of TVs. Well it has been a couple of months and today I figured I would go have a burger and a beer. Well I went to the bar and there was no one there. I waited almost 10 minutes for someone to come in from outside. I figured screw the burger and just had a beer. The bartender was cute but has no business tending bar. She was much more interested in walking around than tending bar. The owner(manager?) was having a meeting with a couple of employees and they were just giving off some really bad vibes. It was very uncomfortable. On back of the bar was a list of all the things that could get you fired if you worked there. When the owner did come up to the bar they were openly talking bad about other employees. It is hard to describe but was probably the most uncomfortable experience I have had in a resturant/bar in years. Jamie A they must read Unilocal because the list on the back of the bar says that employees can not drink with the customers and are not allowed more than three drinks when they are«customers». I wish it were different but it is pretty obvious that this place is getting ready to not be here soon. Too bad because we need a place to hang out in the neighborhood.
