Rescate Coffee

Visited my old friend Anthony and Ladd’s new coffee shop on 1÷25÷16. AMAZING! My mocha was perfect and the ham and cheese croissant was to die for! I wish lived closer because I would frequent this great place all the time. And Anthony’s cup cakes — nothing else like them.

Rescate Coffee is a great place to get coffee. It’s located right before the entrance to I-​5 on Elk Grove Blvd so don’t miss the entrance to the plaza on the right going westbound. It’s currently displaying Grace Coffee on top of the building so I am assuming they will change that soon. Their name is on the window so it’s the right place. It was a little confusing finding this place after circling around the structure lol. I ordered the Tuxedo with chocolate croissant while my special someone ordered the Smores and a cranberry scone. The Tuxedo is half white chocolate mocha with half regular mocha. It was quite delicious and the drink wasn’t too sweet or overpowering with the coffee flavor. I wish they offered to heat up the chocolate croissant since it was cold and the chocolate filling was hard in the middle. I got to take a sip of the Smores and it did have that distinct taste of a campfire smores which is awesome. Both flavors are on their special menu displayed on the right. The staff here at Rescate are friendly which makes your visit enjoyable. There is plenty of seating inside as they have park style bench and regular tables and chairs. My next visit here I will try the cupcakes!

My mom loved her cappuccino and I can’t resist their coconut latte. The espresso is smooth and tastes great.

My favorite place to get coffee! It was grace coffee previously and I was sad to see it changing hands. But I will say that they have kept all the things I loved about grace, friendly staff, great coffee and great prices! The new owners seem very sweet and genuinely passionate about their business. I’m a forever customer. Keep up the great staff and customer service!!! Way better then any Starbucks I’ve ever been to.

I love the coffee and I really love the energy here. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Definitely felt well taken care of and treated like I was appreciated as a customer. I ordered the Rubia Blend and ended up leaving with a pound of it for home after I found out it was roasted that day! This is definitely my new coffee spot!

Recently opened café shop that I wanted to try and I have to say the iced tuxedo mocha is on point! I love the fact that I can taste coffee and not a bunch of syrup like other coffee houses that I have been to, it is not overly sweet or overbearing. Staff is friendly and wait times are very fast. Overall atmosphere of this place is very relaxed. I am going to be a regular at this place.

Recently opened, former Grace coffee. The coffee is delicious. I’ve had the Tuxedo and the Mayan (signature)mochas both were amazing. The staff is very friendly and attentive. A must try are Anthony’s Cupcakes (to die for) now on display. Rescate is a Spanish word for rescue. This establishment donates a portion of it’s profits to animal rescue. Please give them a try.

The mocha actually has a coffee taste to it, instead of the sugary coco flavor at Starbucks. It’s family owned. Great atmosphere. Great coffee. Nice people. Highly recommended.

This place is new so I decided to go and try it. I’m glad I did! I had their 16oz decaf coffee. When I arrived, their friendly staff welcomed me. They sell pastries and I was SOOO happy to see that they were selling Anthony’s Cupcakes cupcakes! I had them before and they were the best!!! This place also has unlimited free wifi (unlike It’s a Grind) and they roast their own coffee beans on site! Their black decaf coffee had tasty sweet tones of coffee in the beginning and a bold taste at the end. This place is worth stopping by. I’m thinking this might be my new weekend coffee spot.
