I bought $ 40 worth of salted beef jerky here once. Probably the best thing I’ve ever done in my entire life.

A buddy recommended this shop. I never took it to the next step and walked in the place. Man, it is a Vegetarian’s Nightmare. I was meeting a buddy at Folklore Coffee and passed Groff’s after parking the car. Decided to visit after appropriately caffeinated. My, my, a Meat Lover’s Dream! Ate the chorizo sausage for breakfast. Really substantial. My Dad makes sausage and it had the same consistency. Meaty. I am not sure what the deal is with commercial sausage. Most would float in water, these links would sink. Also bought some bacon, steak, baby back ribs, scrapple, and some odds and ends like mustard and BBQ sauce. The prices seem good. I have tended to go to Costco for my meats and autoshop without checking prices. It might be a bit more at Groff’s but you get more. This place is a Meat Palace. Think I will be leaving Costco behind. This shop rocks!

Hands down the best place to buy meats that I’ve been to in a long time. Incredible prices and quality – your meat was mooing a day or two before. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
