Amazing place to relax, eat, and have a few great brews! The people were great and accommodating. I tried the beer sampler(you get to choose from a pretty large assortment of beer) and was impressed with all of them. The food was cooked very well and the French Fries alone are definitely worth mentioning, they were delicious!(Not to take away from the rest of my plate, but they were good) When I make it out to Kauai again, this will be a sure stop. We also asked to take a tour and checked out the area where the magic happens and they seem to be expanding and growing very well. Looking forward to my next visit to see what else they come up with!

For my second visit to Kauai, as a local from Oahu, I actually ate at a few restaurants and bars. For our last night and dinne we stopped at this place and it was probably the best place we ate in Kauai, although we only ate at 4 restaurants. I like it because they brew their own beer, which is always cool, and this was the first place that felt like a local spot like back in Oahu. Our server Chris is a big factor of making it a good experience. He was friendly, outgoing, and attentive. I had one of their house brews which was pretty good and a buger. Kauai beef is good stuff. Overall great experience with decent prices and portions. Thanks Chris for playing the birthday girl music that she requested!

This is the only restaurant we have visited twice while on the Island. Before the Kauai Island Brewery, we were gastronomically disappointed. The poke is delicious, both from the pupus menu and in the wrap they offer. My husband was very impressed with the Captain Cook’s IPA, and I enjoyed the house wheat and the brown ale. Their fries and sweet ketchup were great on both of our visits. Highly recommended. This place was a culinary game changer on our honeymoon! The laid back atmosphere is welcoming and the folks that work there were nice and seemed happy. Go grab a brew on your way back from a Waimea Canyon hike or a Napali coast boat excursion, you won’t be disappointed.

Drank the Alakai Stout which was a special. Beer was killer! It’s the best beer that I’ve had at this brewery. As long as you get ‘bar food’ then you’re going to enjoy your experience. We got the Ahi Poke Wrap and Kalua Pork Wrap and both were super ono. It’s definitely worth cruising to if you’re within the vicinity.

We had a great experience here! The food, beer, and service were definitely enjoyable. We had the potato skins for an app. My husband had the special which was an ahi tuna steak, and it was the best fish we had on the island. I ordered the fish and chips which were exactly what I was looking for. The atmosphere was busy and fun. We loved it!

Happy hour menu has generous portions. Potato skins had kalua pork and was delicious. Chicken wings were excellent, I have had my share these were better than most on the Mainland! Twelve beers to taste, chose the red and pale ale. Sat upstairs to see the water view. Kayson was an excellent server.

Every beer here is top in it’s catagory whether it’s the Leilani Light or the Alaka’i Stout! Fish and chips are the best on the island if you love Ono! The Ahi is fresh and prepared a myriad of ways! You can’t go wrong with food, drink, or customer service!

We went to this place twice during our week’s stay on Kauai. My boyfriend loved all the beers he had(the Fonz and a couple others), and I loved the passion ale. We ordered the spicy ahi poke both times — we couldn’t get enough of it! It was probably the best poke we had the whole time we were there. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of our waiter the 2nd time we were there — he was too busy chatting with his friends and eating beef jerky to bother refilling my water or bringing our check, even after asking twice. Other than that, it was a great place for a beer and some pupus.

Husband and I stopped by here on Oct. 27 to watch the first game of the World Series and try some local beers. We were able to get sample-size glasses of all of their brews(about 8 or 9 — big selection compared to many other places we visited while in the islands). The bar has a great local food sampler platter with poke, kalua pig, but also regular pub food like quesadillas, etc. Our server was really helpful when we were trying to figure out which beers to try next, and had spot-on recommendations for food. We never felt rushed, and the prices were fair. Would definitely come back!

I like the brewery and the beers are good. I think there could be a bit more complexity and flavor profiles with the beer. They tasted like they should, but nothing seemed to be a signature or a limit pusher. The food was ok. We came in for a Happy Hour bite. I think the portions could be scaled back for HH to more of a light bite. The Smoked pork and cabbage was a dynamite beer food. Friendly staff and a fun atmosphere.

We love going to craft breweries and try to visit as many as we can. We stopped by Kauai Island Brewery and between us ordered several appetizers and 4 different beers. The beers were ok and so was the food. Nothing special but nothing terrible either. Would we come back? Probably not. Last week we went to Kauai Brewery and there really was no comparison. It was a much better experience across the board.

Had the Leilani Light, Likikoi Ale, and the NaPali Pale Ale… All Good! Dropped in after our checkin for Andy’s Boat charter and weren’t disappointed… The Lilikoi Ale is by far my favorite… they also had the bomb lumpias!

This place is ok. Wifey and I stopped here for a late lunch. The place was pretty busy, but they got us in right away. The folks there were very friendly. The food was just ok, and they were out of several beers. I ended up with the Captain Cook IPA which was only ok. Wifey had the red which was pretty good. The food was ok, I had the pork sandwich and she had the poke. Mine was ok, hers was good. I was thinking of trying a different beer, but our server disappeared for a bit. It happens, not a big deal. Will I be back? Sure, I’d like to see if the beer selection updates in the future.

We were nearby and wanted to find a spot for dinner. We totally hit the jackpot with a brewery that had a happy hour! Service was great — even when the brewery got packed. We ordered food and drinks off the happy hour menu and food/drinks off the regular menu. We really enjoyed the bbq meats and brews(off the happy hour menu) — great deal for the price. I was the jerk who ordered a salad(goat cheese, sweet/tangy island dressing) and a Mai Tai(I was in Hawaii, can you blame me?). Well, ordering off the non-happy hour menu will cost you. Even though everything we got was great, it definitely cost us a pretty penny. I definitely recommend sticking to the happy hour menu.

Great brewery we visited at the end of a challenging hike through Canyon Trail. Very impressed by the selection of brews that are made on premises. I got a sampler of 4 brews. They were all very tasty and well balanced. The staff here were very friendly and accommodating. Love to visit again!
