Bam! Those opihi chocolates are great to eat and make perfect gifts, especially since I don’t think you can get them in any store on Oahu. The ice cream with the opihi chocolates is fantastic, as well! Don’t forget to check in to get a free Opihi!

Chocolate is only good when it’s excellent quality! I have eaten Swedish, Belgium, Norwegian, Argentinean, Portland and just about any chocolatier type of chocolate when I travel. This little Chocolate Factory uses the best quality ingredients. This is a chocolate lovers gold mine. They have a chocolate piece called Opihi. This is a small short bread or guava cookie, topped with a dab of caramel, topped with a whole mac nut, and dipped with the best quality milk or dark chocolate! It’s the best! I always get these for gifts! They also have unique turtles(Honu) & chocolate bark(Brittle). The layers of mac nuts, dark or milk chocolate and caramel are just some of the ingredients they use. Mango, pineapple and coconut. So good! I always buy some for my travels as a treat.

So-so. Overpriced chocolate. You can get much better chocolate on the mainland for half the price. If you’re looking for souvenirs to bring back, Kauai Kookie is better! But, this is probably one of the better chocolate joints on the island. :)

Great opihi & chocolate. But DONOT buy Auntie Lilikoi products here. Price is a rip off. Dollars cheaper at local markets!

Fun chocolate and sweets store. The Opihi’s were better than expected — free sample :) — and the staff is pretty friendly. Ice cream was good too. This is a good place to get gifts for back home. Location is convenient, on the way to/from Waimea canyon or right next to parking for the numerous boat/catamaran tours that start here.

Kauai Chocolate Company, one of the best chocolates ever! I live here so when I have family coming to visit or I’m taking a trip I love to bring them to get the Chocolate Opihi’s or take those gift boxes to my family! Everyone loves it! I usually get the milk chocolate ones. It hits the spot. Once you walk into the store it’s chocolate heaven, the smell is so amazing in there, I would love to work there and smell or taste chocolate all day long. 5 stars!

Chocolate Opihis! Enough said. Perfect combination of shortbread cookie, caramel, topped with a mac nut. Although, everyone I’ve given it to eats it from top-down, rather than side to side therefore missing the point of getting all layers in one bite. A bit on the pricey side but there is a ‘hamajang’ basket that has funny looking ones for cheap. It’s going in your belly anyway, still delicious so it doesn’t need to look perfect.

5 stars for this little chocolate company! It’s a very small chocolate store and they do an outstanding job making their chocolates. Their a little pricey but that’s expected from a gourmet chocolate shop. Wish we had this on Oahu!

Definitely off the grid but if you’re stopping by the Kauai Island Brewery, Glass Beach or waiting for a boat tour, definitely stop by here. We picked up some sort of concoction made of shortbread, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, toffee, caramel and mac nut. If it sounds like overkill, well then feed me this until I die and I’ll die happy. The girls working behind the counter were very sweet and helpful. They were happy to serve us even though we walked in minutes before they closed and I’m sure they had better things to do than give samples of ice cream and gelato to tourists.

Chocolate opihis are delicious! Go to the«hamajang» basket to get 3 of them for $ 3-something. They aren’t perfect but they still look good and taste the same. Kamaaina get a discount if they spend $ 20 or more.
