Dustin was awesome! When he wasn’t there, the manager Melissa was there. Both were very attentive and both provided exceptional service! Strongly recommend. Beer and food is great!

This place is great! We just had our 1yr old baby’s birthday there today and I can’t say enough about how awesome this place is! Perfect for kids — and adults! The staff was so gracious, patient and so helpful, even with 60 guests of ours — 30 of them children under 2! I am so impressed at how well they handled everything! Thank you so much!!!

El Segundo has a great place to eat and watch sports??? No way. Way! I ate here for the first time last week, and I have to say I was really surprised. First off, this place is HUGE. There are large seating areas inside and outside, and plenty of tvs and video screens to catch up on highlights, watch your favorite team, or catch 80s videos. The menu is also HUGE. There are a ton of beers on tap and in the bottle, and lots of choices for starters, small entrees, large entrees, things to share, etc. They have soups, salads, a healthy menu, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, wings, and… the BBQ Tri Tip sampler. My friend D and I ordered the BBQ Tri Tip sampler, and the Tri Tip soft tacos. The sampler came with the tri tip, grilled veggies, onion rings and fries. Both dishes were great! The meat was cooked properly, it was most and it was delicious. Let’s just say we ordered a second round of BBQ tri tip since it was so good. D also enjoyed a couple of different stouts they had on tap and he loved those as well. The service was quick and friendly, the space is huge and fun, and the food is really good. I can’t wait to come back! Iced Tea Rating: 3 stars. Decent flavored tea, but not my favorite plain, black tea ;-)

My BBQ Chicken pizza was just ok. Too much crust without sauce or toppings. Shared the giant pretzel, and wasn’t impressed either. It tasted like a pretzel at a ball game. Great place to watch sports on a big screen TV(in the summer) and bring your little kids to play while you eat or drink, but I wasn’t a fan of the setup… maybe since I don’t have kids.

We had an awesome waitress named Jenna. When I talked to the boss to give a review she said that she was one of the newer waitresses. It didn’t seem that way! She was an expert! She knew all the new beers that were on tap! She made the best recommendations for food! The spicy Asian Wings were amazing! We will be eating there again and hopefully can get that same waitress! She was amazingly cute too! Thank you Jenna for making our experience a great one!!!

Rock & Brews is a good time if you’re looking for a sports bar type of place. The environment is lively and it’s the perfect place to grab a drink. The crowd is pretty diverse. There’s always a fair share of families with children, lots of cute babies! I appreciate their wide variety of beer on tap. The price is not cheap though. Those beers can add up! We had the jalapeño poppers and the brew burger, they were both good. Expectations are high though because all of their food items are on the pricier side(for a sports bar).

Was so hyped to go check this place out with my cousin cause we heard that it was good but service was sh*t, they took about 15min to come check if we were ready and when we ordered our beer pitcher they didn’t have the one we wanted so we asked for another one and the waitress said she would check if they had it and she took another 10min to come tell us that they didn’t have that one either. would think about it next time I wanna go here, if it’s really worth my time.

Kinda pricey, but the place is awesome. Ultimate burger and bread pudding is pretty good. Add bacon and a fried egg for maximum enjoyment! Pros: + Ultimate Burger was pretty good + Awesome location + Bread Pudding + Friendly staff + Great music + No Adele Cons: — Pricey — Small portion of onion rings(see photo) Long Version: Finally got around to trying this spot. I’ve been eyeing it for a while now. The location is great. Very roomy, big open environment with awesome décor and music. Finally a place where I’m not forced to listen to Adele. If I hear that damn«Hello» song again… Anyway, they’ve got huge tables, so if you’ve got a lot of people with you it shouldn’t be a problem. The food was pretty good, but I felt it was pricey. I ended up paying 30 bucks for my meal(with tip and tax). I added bacon and a fried egg to the«Ultimate Burger». Thought it was better than average, but it was missing the«wow» factor. It came with a side order of Onion Rings(they had other choices) and an Iced Tea. I also had their bread pudding for dessert which I thought was tasty though a bit dry. The food was pretty good, but I can get more bang for my buck elsewhere. Would definitely come back when I’m not on lunch break for a few beers or something. Super chill spot. Don’t think it is a good spot for lunch if you are on a tight budget though. If it wasn’t for the awesome location and music this would be a three star spot, but the atmosphere is very enjoyable. My favorite part of the meal was when a big glob of cheese fell out of my burger and landed on an onion ring. That cheese smothered onion ring was amazing. Too bad that’s not on the menu!

Rock & Brews is such a awesome place to have a drink and enjoy some delicious food. Their Asian chicken wings are my favorite and their garlic fries are so yummy and flavorful. And not only that I went on a day where I got to meet Gene Simmons. He’s so friendly and approachable.

Outstanding food, outstanding service! The Rock and Roll ambiance combines beautifully with the overall chill vibe of the town of El Segundo. Our server, Matty B., took great care of us. We’re already planning our next visit! Rock on, Rock & Brews Crew!!!

Special holiday menu up for another 12 days! Better get in to sample the sandwich and platter items, and, it doesn’t stop there… No! They also have holiday beer too, woooo! Celebration from Sierra Nevada to winter larger from Anderson Valley! For lunch today I tried their Turkey Platter, I’m not a fan of Brussels sprouts but they made it happen!

Fun night. The venue feels similar to the Rock & Brews I’ve hit in Redondo Beach. The atmosphere is fun(loud), and good for kids. They had an area that kids can play in, it’s kinda small, but they have an attendant who keeps an eye on the little ones(must be 5 or under). You can sit inside or outside, they do have heat lamps so the outside can still foster a good atmosphere on a colder night. I enjoyed the continuous loop of music and videos, and I found myself daydreaming as I looked around at the various garb on the walls, naturally, lots of music flags, posters, and paintings. The service was just Okay, but the place is big, and comes with a semi-circus type atmosphere, so all things considered, I felt the service was adequate. They have a good beer selection, and I enjoyed my steak tacos, B+. They also have a ton of televisions for those wanting to watch sports. I would definitely come again. Parking can be a challenge on a busy night.

I came here on a Saturday with my friend to watch the Dodgers &USA vs Mexico game. I figured it would be a good place to watch the games since they have multiple TVs and one really large screen. We asked to be seated near the TV and they sat us in the middle corner. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 is because in order for us to see the big screen we would have to completely look up and that was uncomfortable to see. We ended up asking them to change the channel to the TV across the way for us to see the games(they did). I ordered the Fire Grilled Tri Tip Soft tacos. Very delicious and fulfilling. My friend ordered the Memphis Style BBQ Baby Back Ribs which she really enjoyed. If you plan to watch any sports games I do want to mention they do not play the sound. Currently they have this Oktoberfest going on, where they have a guy and girl dressed up walking about cheering you with their beers. Its pretty loud and the young gentleman’s voice got pretty annoying.(also for the 4 stars) The atmosphere is really nice. they have outside seating and covered inside area. It was about 90 digress and actually still very cool inside. If you love Rock & Roll you will love the décor of the restaurant. They have a large verity of drinks. I liked their beer options. Prices are average. Between my friend and I we spent around 70 $ for 4 beers and 2 meals. I forgot our waitress name but she was really nice and always asked if we need anything.

I’ll start with my bottomline here. The food was«meh,» but I dig the atmosphere. Upon the recommendation of some guys who work in the area, I started out with the Spicy Asian wings. They were ok. They were not the crunchy Asian wings, or the pepper Asian wings, or the spicy Asian wings, or the sweet chili Asian wings… These were just meh. I saw recommendations for the ribs as well, so I gave those a try as well. They were good but not special. I also asked if I could substitute both my sides and a small up charge for Mac & cheese instead. The bartender said sure. It was not that good either. It did have a strange flavor. I could taste the beer but there was something else as well. This ends the formal review. This next part is merely to share the ridiculousness of the bar patrons next to me. They looked like a pig and a rat. Once they were done with the I am a god at my job and all others should bow at my feet talk, they turned their attention to an email one received. Apparently someone had called that one out on what they thought was wrong and wrote a long email about it The drunker the one got the more«douchey» he was. The basketball game was on and he started cheering for random plays not for any specific team but just because other people could hear him.

There are three«Rock & Brews» and this one is the highest rated on Unilocal,so I’m glad I got lucky and chose this one to as I was driving around one busy Sunday, starving after my day’s activities. The beer selection is as Borat or Michael Scott would say«very niiice» and they offer them in pitchers, drafts, or bottles… and one tallboy(can). I say go with the pitcher which is essentially 4 pints for what you’d pay for 3 if you ordered them individually. I went with the Spaten Pils for $ 23, they also have another pilsner for the same price, and most of the other choices were a bit more expensive. The atmosphere, this is a large large rock-themed bar which has an open-air sort of a biergarden layout on the outside, and pretty similar on the inside, under the roof which is just like a big hangar with several more tables and bar underneath. It has rock videos from the 80’s to 2000’s blaring on large screens, but not too loud to be obnoxious, meaning you can still have a conversation. There are many popular rock band’s flags flying high in the above parking lot, with stair access for easy in n out. Next came the food… took a little while to eventually come out this day but when it did looked pretty good. The cheese fries were pretty amazing. Other friends got the burgers and said they were worth the wait. I ordered an individual of the Margherita pizza, wasn’t quite in a burger, wings, hot dog, or BBQ mood, but they all smelled amazing. I gotta say the Margherita looked appetizing(especially on the menu). I even added«Spicy Pepperoni»(which honestly, had 0 spice even for my mild palate), just to pump it up even a little bit more, but it was just lacking a little something. Maybe it was the unimpressive sauce but also the dough was a little chewy and needed to be a little more crisp and literally tasted like air. All in all there was just not enough flavor for me, so I’d order something different next time, but I still didn’t end up leaving hungry. There is also a pretty good looking pizza place right across the street, so if you’re in the mood for pizza but OK with a little quieter setting maybe that’s the way to go. Apparently the wings my friends ordered were very tasty too. They have several flavors to choose from, our party went with the asian zing(or is it tang? hmm). If you’re not in the mood to dine much but still want to drink or hang out, get the giant pretzel w/mustard and cheese sauces on the side, and I think you won’t regret it. All in all it was a good time, lived up to the name with the«brews» that«rock», and decent food to go with it… and it was a great day to be outside in the Southern California partly sunny late afternoon, with the ocean breezes going and tunes cranking. This establishment is the largest in El Segundo downtown. You can’t miss it on Main, one block up from El Segundo Blvd. They also have one in Redondo Beach, and LAX. I might even give Redondo a try next. It beats all the usual chains, has more of a neighborhood feel than somewhere like Buffalo Wild Wings or the like. And way better outdoor seating. They also allow dogs and have a doggy happy hour Tuesday 2−5ish when you can spoil your pup with free appetizer for each dog…(see attached photo for impressive dog menu). Awesome! Prices: 3.5 Beer selection: 4.25 Atmosphere/ambience/people watching: 4.25 Food selection: 4 Food tastiness: 3.75 Specials(doggy happy hour… what!): 4.5 Overall 4.416666667 Stars — I’d still go back and rock all over again!

Perfect place to gather with friends to have a daytime beer and lunch. The patio is huge and extends indoors, giving the entire restaurant a big outdoor open feel. The menu is standard… appetizers, salads, burgers, etc. etc. The beer menu is large also with a rotating selection. Parking can be tricky around here but get lucky and find street parking. One of the most unique parts about Rock and Brews is that children and animals are welcome. I think this makes it 5 stars for families. There is even a small area for kids play in the corner of the patio… I keep these things in the back of my mind for when we have kids and I don’t want my life to end.

We dropped by here after a biz event at El Segundo Brewing across the street. Rock & Brews has a beer garden, and is great for hanging out in good weather, including families w/small kids. In addition to this location on Main St in El Segundo(just off ES Blvd after making the right turn on Main), there is another location in Redondo Beach. They have a ton of handles here. I thought I saw one I liked, but the bartender warned me it had peppers in it. I had taste, and I did not like it. That is the sign of a good bartender — keeping his patrons happy. I ended up getting a Spaten($ 7). It was ice cold, and great on a warm summer evening. This place is cool. It is open air, there are plenty of communal and individual tables, and it is set up to meet people. We sat at the bar and struck up a convo w/total strangers — that is the beauty of hanging out in bars. The only downside to this place is that they only serve beer & wine. Idk about you, but I get really full on beer, and would prefer to switch to tequila(no shots please — LOL!). Nonetheless, this is a good place to meet co-workers, friends or family. I will have to try the food next time. The peeps we met were indulging in the fish & chips, and it looked really good.

Overpriced. The beers and the food. I get their«rock» schtick, but it’s obnoxious. We just came to kill time before El Segundo Brewing opened. The wings were basic, but not worth the price. The pretzel was huge, but dry and the cheese was tasteless and was $ 3.95 for the most shallow, tiny dish of cheese ever. The bartenders had some attitude, but they were nice, I guess. Not a place I’d ever go to again.
