Been a long time since the original review so time for an update, food is still good, prices have gone up, which is to be expected as I’m sure costs have risen too, still a decent lunch for a little more than average price, seating is still a problem for groups of more than 4 so not recommend for a large party. Parking has gotten more difficult since the arrival of In-N-Out in the plaza. Another good choice if you are looking to take something home for dinner.

One of my favorite gyro spots. A terrific hidden gem in El Segundo, a bit pricey but the food is great. Love the Lamb gyro meat plate. Their salads are outstanding as well!

Hands down the absolute worst businesss owner on the planet! I will NEVER order from this place again and strongly encourage everyone I know to avoid it at all costs. The manager/owner is completely incompetent and likely doesnt know right from left. he overcharged like crazy, did not return calls, left off parts of our order hoping we wouldnt notice and would not answer when I called. Overcharged by $ 300, showed up 20 minutes late, missing at least 3 items from our order. so rude, so incompetent. DONOTORDERCATERINGFROMTHISPLACEEVER! this guy is a major SCAMARTIST or really really really stupid…

5 stars just solely for their breakfast burrito. Who wouldn’t known that this little café would be home to such a great breakfast burrito? My coworkers and I make it a point to come here every Friday to grab these. Do yourself a favor and go!

These guys have been around for about 26 years so they know a thing or two about making a good meal. Definitely one of my favorite spots in the area. This place is as good as it gets when it comes to flavors and portions. Parking is a little bit of a hassle now due to the construction but do yourself a favor and come either before or after the lunch hour to avoid that.

Will it satisfy a greasy GYRO craving? Yep Have I tried anything else on the menu? Nope. Its all about the Gyros. Located in a strip mall with too many businesses and tight spots(yep, I hate this lot). BUT, always worth it when we got that Gyro craving. Place is tiny and in the past 5 years, we probably only ate inside once; orders were always To Go. Service is fast and they have a tv you can watch on a stool, while waiting for your order. Gyros: Thick piece of Pita, Big chunks of Lamb, tomatoes & onions and a lot of Tzatziki sauce. ***Do not eat in car, it will get messy The plate comes with fries & a greek salad. Fries are pretty good. The salad has a lot of Feta Cheese. They don’t skimp here. I’d try to eat all my salad, hoping it would take up room so that I wouldn’t eat the whole Gyro. Did it work? Nope. Good for a diet? NO. My favorite fast food Gyros in the South Bay.

I would give a 3.5 star. I ordered a small size Gyro Plate($ 11.95). It came with Gyro with grilled onion, rice, pita bread, and salad. It was good, but I don’t know how they got voted for LA’s Best Gyro as claimed on the receipt. This place cooks the Gyro on the grill, and gets a lot of grease out of the meat. Maybe it’s healthier that way, but the meat is shrunk To small pieces and dry. I think Hummus Factory gives you more meat for the same price and hummus. Service was fine. It was busy around lunch time. I’m not sure if I will come back again. I may try other place.

Just got done having a great gyro from a place that a co worker recommended. Lots of choices with tons of options. Priced to fit anyone’s budget. Service was great but the parking lot can be a real zoo. I would call ur order in for take out.

I give Petit Café a strong four stars for the best chicken kabob in El Segundo. Some of the Lakers and LA Kings eat here as the practice facility is just a few blocks away. I also see a lot of LAX workers visiting this place as well. Petit Café is not a full service sit down restaurant. They do have some tables but it’s more or less a take out place. I wouldn’t call this place cheap compared to the typical fast food joints, but the quality is great and very consistent. It’s a step healthier than burger joints if you care at all. By far I mostly eat the Chicken Kabob plate(full size) and save half another meal later in the day. I also like the Petit Breakfast and Breakfast Burrito. It’s common pick something up going to/from work. I’m eaten here at least 30 times. There’s something addictive about this place. I think it’s the balance between healthy and taste. If you order the Chicken Kabob, they give you the house garlic sauce that I don’t care for. Just ask to substitute the garlic sauce for Tzatziki. BTW, a new In-N-Out burger is being built next door.

I come here once in awhile for their rib eye steak and egg sandwich for breakfast. Some may think it is a bit pricey, but for its size, I think the price is pretty fair. I always request to cut the sandwich in half as it’s pretty big.(I eat one half during breakfast and the other half during lunch.) And yes, it is quite yummy! Their kitchen is pretty open, so you can really see everything that’s going on. I notice on each of my visit that their vegetables are ALWAYS fresh and prepped to order.(All their vegetables can be seen through their glass-door refrigerator.) What a difference this makes on the dish! I’ve had their original gyro and it is SOOOOO delicious! They don’t go cheap on the meat or any of the other items that go with it, so you definitely get your money’s worth here! Papa Cristo’s was the ONLY place I’d go to for this, but I will now admit they have competition with Petit Café!(Well… for me, at least…) Definitely my go-to place for Mediterranean in the South Bay!

Was with a friend today when we decided to stop in for an early dinner/late lunch. I’ve been on a kabob kick lately so my taste buds were salivating just anticipating the carnival of delicious meats I was about to devour. I’m quite pleased to say Petit Café didn’t disappoint. It’s a small, clean, well appointed Mediterranean restaurant with a diverse menu of beef, lamb, and chicken options. I ordered the chicken kabob with rice and tabouleh. Everything was very flavorful and surprisingly delicious. My friend and I are both fans, I’m fairly certain you will be too.

Came to Petit Café a couple weeks ago while«looking for something different» for lunch. I settled on this place, mainly out of mystery and not anything else. The place is small, mostly kitchen and counter, with a few tables. Offers Mediterranean and a little bit more. Kind of eclectic menu of mostly kabobs, plates, Gyros, but also Omelettes, Pancakes, Burritos, or Steak & Eggs. Breakfast is available all day, while is nice. I ordered a chicken skewer plate, with hummus and salad. The portions were pretty big. It took about 15 minutes to make, but that’s kind-of a good thing because chicken really should be cooked fully and any chicken cooked BEFORE people order it is just rubbery and nasty. The meat was good, and lots of it. The hummus was fresh and had a nice citrus note. The salad was a little dull, limp, and blah… but hey salad! I added some of their garlic sauce, that helped overall with the flavors. All-in-all for about $ 15, I got a huge lunch, from a friendly place… cannot complain about that. I’ll go again!!! ENJOY!

Great Greek salads and Gyro plates. They have both chicken and lamb/beef gyros. Go for the plates or sandwiches. The food is prepared quick for the busy lunch hour and the food is good. I loved their lamb/beef gyro plate with the rice and side Greek salad. French fries and almost steak fry size.

We just had a quick dinner here. Mediterranean style dishes. We had a lamb gyro and chicken kabob. The ingredients were fresh. The chicken was moist and tender. The lamb had just the right consistency. Both were very nicely seasoned with great flavor. We also had hummus which was very delicious and fresh. Very very nice compliment to the meal. Very good job chef! The place is designed with about 8 tall tables with 2 chairs each. Very pleasant décor while enjoying your meal. If you’re in the area, I recommend trying it out for sure folks.

I was impressed by the stands with the meat on them, reminding me of fancy deli where the meat is fresh cut. The appeal of the meat stopped at the visual scene, on the palate it demonstrated itself as dry, unrecoverable with tzatziki sauce. The pitas pealed unevenly, providing a messy and poor use in a gyro. Despite being more of a meat and potatoes type of man, I think the Greek salad outdid the gyro and the rice significantly.

This restaurant was highly recommended by one of my coworkers. We placed a total of 5 takeout orders. So who gets shot when the food order doesn’t come out right? The Messenger, in this case me, the food runner. Out of 5 orders 4 were unhappy. Guess who the only happy guy was? The guy who recommended the restaurant in the first place. Everybody who ordered complained, myself included; half of my food was decent, the other half overcooked. I believe in second chances, so I’ll return in a month or so. Better luck next time!

Another great spot that I’m sad I didn’t come across earlier! I stopped in to grab lunch to go and opted for the beef gyros wrap lunch plate. The plate came with the wrap, fries and a salad. The fries were nice and crispy and had seasoned salt on them. The salad was a straightforward Greek salad with feta cheese, olives, and a oil and vinegar dressing. The gyros were really good; they slice it really thick, so it’s like eating a steak sandwich instead of thin cut deli slices. The sauce is spot on and I love the red onions. I topped it off with a piece of their baklava which was really gooey and sweeter than other Greek restaurants. This is a really small space and can accommodate a couple wanting to eat in, but it seems like most take it to go, and if you had 4 people trying to eat together, it would be a stretch. There are a ton of companies with high rises in the area, so I would call in your order, and maybe come before the normal lunch rush for easier in and out.

Petite Café is located in a strip mall on the east side of Sepulveda. It’s small with indoor and outdoor seating. The original wrap was $ 7.25. The gyro was greasy. I’m not sure if it’s because it was re-cooked in oil.

A nice surprise… would not have expected much from a restaurant in a strip mall, but it was quite tasty, and portion were large. I ordered the gyro plate, which came with gyro meat. pita, rice, and Greek salad. Everything had a great flavor, and I barely finished my me, and it was the petite sized portion. Nothing like emasculating an order like making you say«petite.» Will definitely come back by whenever I’m in the neighborhood.
