~~~Fishlips Sushi~~~ ~~~Temari Sushi~~~ What an eye-catching name! I was flippin’ through JapanUp magazine and came across an article describing the different types of sushi. Temarizushi?! What’s that? It looks so cute! I’ve never tried them yet. Let’s look for a resto on my Unilocal app. Well hello, Fishlips Sushi Truck! They have days, hours, & several locations on their website but since I wasn’t sure how often it was updated, I gave them a call. I could not get a hold of anyone so I called the next day. Tuesday was one of the days they were going to be in the El Segundo location. Thank goodness someone answered. The location on Unilocal was incorrect, for the El Segundo location. They are on Grand Ave & Nash St, in the Karl Storz parking lot. Also, they were sharing space w/Creative Eats Truck while their own truck’s being repaired. I recommend calling before heading over as they may make last minute changes. ***Fishlips Sushi*** Lg Temari Sushi Set 6pcs Crunchy Shrimp Rolls w/5pcs Temari Sushi.($ 10) –Crunchy Shrimp roll was okay. Temari Sushi looked so cute but it was like cutting sushi in half and rolling into balls. I wanted more sushi. :( ***Creative Eats Truck*** Buttermilk Panko Fried Chicken w/Wild Rice Waffle served w/Dijon Maple Syrup.($ 9) –My honest first impression… fried chicken looked over fried and very thin. I was afraid I wouldn’t taste the chicken. I took one bite without the syrup and was able to taste the chicken. –After I poured the syrup on top of chicken and waffle, I was SUPER delighted with my meal. It was very gewd! –They are on the Unilocal app with Santa Monica location. I wanted to try their famous Salmon & Broccolini for $ 10 but the person ahead of me got the last one. Next time! Fishlips Sushi is really A-Ok w/what I’ve tried so far. I gave them an extra star for introducing me to Creative Eats Truck! Happy Grubbing!
