Walmart El Paso Gateway BLVD The rotisserie chicken I just bought was terribly salty… It tasted like I was eating a cube of salt. It was so soaked in sodium that the chicken breast section was almost a clear whitish color. I usually like to buy the raw chicken, but due to time restraints picking the rotisserie was the only option… Worst idea ever! So gross. couldn’t even eat it. What a waste of money :-(

What can i say? I’m a bit biased when it comes to Walmart. Walmart brings back so many memories, that i just love going there. This particular location is okay. Havent had a great experience or a bad one, the times I’ve gone nothing memorable has happened that i need to write about it. Just a regular store where you can find just about anything you’re looking for, from baby stuff like diapers, to electronics, to even groceries. Its a one-stop shop!

NEVER thought I would step into a Walmart after my college years as I’ve done most of my groceries at Trader Joes and Whole Foods when I was a civilian back home in NYC and we do not have a Walmart(why would you when you live in NYC?) Walmart was my money-saving when I went to college in Penn back in 2003. But I digress. It’s like any other Walmart around the country, selling everything you can ever imagine in low(in civilian-term) prices. The only time I come here is when I cannot find certain items at the Commissary on-post at Fort Bliss because the prices are still lower at the Commissary. But for all those civilians out there, it’s where you shop for quantity not quality. There is a McDonalds to satisfy your hunger and a Pharmacy on-site. Oh, and there’s a Sam’s Club right across the street from this location if you need to buy items in large quantities.

When you enter a Walmart, you are entering a human zoo. We got rolls on rolls and I’m not talking about the bread isle. And what’s with the obese women wearing baby tops? No one wants to catch a glimpse of the Amazon while they’re shopping. Even with the creatures that are crawling around Walmart, they still got anything and everything you need, for a great price. I don’t mind to shop here in fact a free ticket to the zoo is a win in my book. DON’T PETTHEANIMALS!!!

Well certainly things have changed since the last review on this Walmart. Not busy and arrived on a Monday at 10pm. Large selection of items with wonderful discounts. Walmart representatives very courteous and helpful. Nothing much more to say here as this was a superb experience.

You should know that this is the Walmart that most shoppers from Juarez default to, that means it is by far the most crowded one in town. Because of the high traffic the store is often messy and the shopping experience is uncomfortable, not to mention the nightmare that is finding parking. Prices and selection are pretty much the same as all other WMs in town.

OMG, is this the only Walmart around?!? We went on a Sunday, late in the afternoon. The place was PACKED! It was so busy that I thought I would lose my mind! Their attachment to Cielo Vista Mall makes for silly parking. It is ridiculous that the aisles don’t flow all the way through. the place is huge which is great for selection but the place is so darn busy, I will be sure to try to avoid ever returning on a weekend! =(

Wal-Mart… there’s really not much explaining to do here. Wal-Mart is just the place to buy everything you need all under one roof. I do pretty much all my grocery shopping here. Along with all my hygiene products, some electronics, and anything in between all those departments that tickles my fancy as I stroll around the aisles. Just try not to get too frustrated with the lines, the people, and anything else that Wal-Mart is prone to throw at you. Remember we all just go in for one thing and come out with a cart full, damn it.
