I give this location a 2 and it’s not because the food isn’t good because that’s pretty consistent in being yummy. My lack of stars is solely because of service. My husband and I like to sit at the bar vs a table and the bartenders in general aren’t super social. Sure, they’ll give u the required greeting, and make sure you get ur food, but there’s no lasting memory of the associate. No desire to get to know their customers which makes no sense, a memorable server equals more return visits and more revenue for the company. Not to mention the associate who has the chance to create a loyal customer thus increasing their own tips and income. That’s my only complaint is the service.

Let me first preface this glowing review by stating that the food is merely a two or three star at best rating. But the entire experience was really made so enjoyable for my wife and I by such an incredibly terrific server who was ever present but not constantly in our faces. He anticipated just about all of our requests from our kinda unusual request for the kitchen to space the meal out so we could take our time to enjoy our drinks and appetizers without getting slammed everything within a 15 minute window, to having the kitchen re-cook our meal after it was delivered by another server earlier than we would have liked. He was incredibly polite while not coming off as a sycophant. My wife and I agree that he is just about the best server that we have had in a very very long time. He made what would otherwise have been a mediocre experience, into a really nice evening. His name is Frank C, and I highly suggest anybody who eats here to request him as a server. It will elevate your experience. Thanks Frank!

Four servers sitting at a table in the bar, 12 people waiting to be seated in a nearly empty restaurant equals piss poor management and a lack of profit driven results.

Went with my family that came in from Fort Worth, and I think her name was Betty but she was very nice and approachable. Then our waitress came(Michaelle) and told us about the deals and promotions going on at the time. We waited no time for our alcohol drinks and the great rolls red lobster has. I’ve attend here before several times and the service is just another thing but Michaelle actually goes out of her way to make you comfortable and enjoy your night out no matter what the occasion. I kinda watcher her with her other tables and she gave the same treatment with the other couples/family’s that came in. Bottom line ASKFORMICHAELLE.

Pretend this is actually a 3.5. The food is fresh and the service is good, but the whole place reeks of lowtide. Which is weird, because El Paso is nowhere near an ocean. I realize it’s a seafood restaurant, but it made me glad I wasn’t getting seafood that night.

Just wanted somewhat normal food that was not Mexican in this area. I don’t understand why people love Red Lobster. it’s very very average. Nothing spectacular at all about the taste of the food. The biscuits that everyone raves about are meh-ok. I guess this is a good place to go if You want average seafood. It’s better than freezer ready seafood… barely.

I don’t understand for the life of me why people routinely go to Red Lobster, water tastes worse than tap, dead lobster in the tank, salad tastes and looks terrible, fish was underdone and tasteless.

I was in El Paso to visit my son on March 15−17th, 2013. His favorite restaurant is Red Lobster — so we just had to go. I was concerned about the wait time so I called ahead to see how busy they were. I was immediately connected to the manager, Lawrence, who took my name and assured me that they would get me seated as soon as possible. When we arrived the place was packed(a combination of Payday and Lent apparently)! I assumed that we would have to wait for 45 minutes at least. Lawrence was courteous and we were seated within 5 minutes. We then had a lovely waitress(don’t recall the name) who was just wonderful. Our food was absolutely impeccable and despite all our entrees(and drinks) the bill wasn’t too bad either. We had a great time! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Extremely long wait. Was told 10 mins turned into 35 min wait. We could see several tables vacant but they wouldn’t seat us. Will not go back! Our server was meh… ok but he forgot our utensils, forgot the bread, forgot to check on our drinks. Friday during lent and not very good service for a seafood place. SMH.

I am giving red lobster 5 stars based on the service alone. I believe our servers name was Jacob… I am a few days late in writing the review so I could be wrong. He was on top of everything and made sure to converse with my niece. He was extremely personable. The food was good as well. It is lobster fest and although Red Lobster isn’t upscale seafood it is still pretty good for the price. We had lobster bisque which itself wasn’t bad. a little salty. The lobster lovers dream was great! Go in and ask for jacob… if thats his name. lol He was awesome…

I had the endless shrimp, and I must say I was expecting more. The variety of shrimp dishes available is okay, but, save for the pasta dish, they are small and unfulfilling. It really doesn’t help that you have to wait quite a while for your next order, it makes you stay in the restaurant more than you would like. The shrimp dishes are good, but not great. The restaurant is very clean and the ambiance is nice, I imagine this is a good place for some after work drinks. I actually haven’t been to Red Lobster before, but I imagine they’re just like Olive Gardens for seafood, right? Take this review, and apply it to all Red Lobsters!

I don’t normally think of Red Lobster when I think of where I want to spend a birthday celebration in El Paso, but we decided to give it a shot. I took my girlfriend to this location for her birthday and it was a very nice surprise. The restaurant is very clean, and looks new. The staff is friendly and even opened the door for us as we came in. We were quickly seated and given our menus. Our waiter, Benjamin V, came over and gave us a few suggestions about the menu, got our drink order and gave us a few minutes to decide. He was pretty funny, entertaining and really enjoyed his job so it’s nice getting someone that likes what they do. He gave us a heads up that the steaks are good especially for a seafood restaurant. Good to know. I decided on the Peach-Bourbon Shrimp with bacon wrapped Scallops. The shrimp were cooked perfectly which is hard to find. The mesquite from the BBQ came out and the bourbon peach sauce was terrific. It wasn’t too sweet, and it added the right amount of flavor. Anything with bacon is great and the scallops were no exception. They were cooked perfectly as well so they were tender on the inside The bacon was cooked well and added a great meaty goodness to the dish. I opted for the lobster mashed potatoes which were amazingly rich, with ample lobster pieces and smooth, creamy potatoes. It was a perfect combination. My girlfriend got the Choose your own 3 plate that came with Coconut Shrimp, Fried Shrimp and Crab Stuffed Flounder. The coconut shrimp were sweet, with an even sweeter sauce on the side. They were better without the sauce so thank goodness it was on the side. The fried shrimp were even better with a light batter. They were crunchy without being oily and the crab stuffed flounder was rich, tasty and perfectly cooked. Overall, this plate was also a success. I let the waiter know we were celebrating a birthday and we found out they sing for all birthdays. The good news is they sang really quietly and we got a really tasty scoop of vanilla ice cream covered in raspberry drizzle. It was a great ending to a great meal. This location wasn’t busy either so I think it’s worth taking the loop over there since the traffic isn’t bad either. For a great meal, good service and a nice time, I recommend this location to anyone that likes seafood.
