Great service. Amazing sandwiches. Probably my new regular lunch spot when time is crunched.

Super friendly employees and a clean store. The gal who took our orders was so patient when my step-​dad took a bit longer to decide on what he wanted. He’s pretty indecisive when it comes to ordering, but she was ever so patient and understanding.
Sure, they are pricier than most sandwich shops, but they are delicious. I love The Spicoli and The Skinny Dipper. I ordered the latter on my last visit and it came out perfect. I don’t always come here, but I’ve not been disappointed when I have.

The most average tasting 15 dollar club sandwich I’ve ever had. Employees were nice, store was clean but price is enough to lose my business. Pretty girls and reggae music don’t hide the fact I’m getting ripped off.

5 stars for the sandwiches. They’re always so good & look really nice. The customer service is awesome most of the time, but their prices are pretty high. The last sandwich I ordered was $ 15. No drinks, chips, or anything; just the sandwich, to go. If it weren’t for the high prices, this place would definitely get 5 stars. I’ll wait until the next time my dad invites me for lunch, so I don’t have to pay :-)

I love the Beach Hut — it’s an EDH hidden gem. Ask about $ 1 first beer… Wait staff is always friendly and talkative which is a key differentiator here. Live music some days is really cool. Makes me feel like I’m back at UC Santa Barbara sometimes when I’m here. Love the Beach Hut in EDH.

I like the atmosphere — fun, upbeat surfer vibe. The service isn’t friendly, but it isn’t horrible or rude either. Just sort of meh. A small sandwich is about 8″ and the bread is fresh. I ordered the turkey, avocado and bacon. The cashier asked if I wanted cheese and the works and I said yes. I got my sandwich and there was a thumb-​size wad of cream cheese in the middle of the sandwich. Kinda odd — next time I will specify what kind of cheese I want. I scraped it off and the rest of the sandwich was okay.
I am a woman and found it a little creepy that this place is oozing with males who seem to be oogling the female staff. (I visited at 2pm on a Friday). Sure the ladies are attractive, but the men just lurking around in the middle of the day drinking beer and not doing much else (not eating a sandwich) made me uncomfortable and I don’t even work there. I felt like I was at Hooters not a neighborhood sandwich shop.
So net-​net, the sandwich was just okay and the clientele was creeper.

Food is good, kids are friendly. But $ 28.00 for two medium sandos, 1 drink, 1 chip?
Not including a $ 3.00 tip.
Although the sandwiches are hardy, $ 31.00 is a bit excessive!!!

5 stars for food. 1 star for service. Eat here frequently and always get Malibu. On more than one occasion they have been out of the bread used in Malibu but they have offered me other bread options. Tonight, however, I called to place an order to go. (I was just leaving the store next door). I was told that it had been a busy day and they were out of several items. I told the girl that answered the phone that I wanted to order a Malibu to go. I was then told «we are out of the bread used in the Malibu but we close in 20 minutes anyway.» Needless to say I got the hint. Apparently if you want to go to Beach Hut you better be there WAY before closing time. Not sure what the cut off could be, possibly one hour?

Always good service at this location. Happy and friendly staff makes lunch more enjoyable.

Great music playing with 3 workers that were smiling & already working making a big platter as soon as we entered. Me & my coworker ordered two sandwiches that were made in no time at all.
Annie, Kayla & Ashley were all great. Although I go to Beach Hut Deli frequently I wanted to try something new & Annie explained a few new ones I should try based on what I have had before. Her suggestion was on point VERY GOOD. Thank you

Great sandwiches just too expensive! And I don’t think this location lets you keep the frisbee plates. The surfin bird, meatball and pastrami sandwiches are all amazing. The service is good too! The sole reason I don’t come here more often is because of the prices.

Another 5 stars for Beach Hut EDH because another bridal shower crowd successfully and deliciously fed! I needed to pick up my order at 10:00 so they came in early to make sure my order was ready at 10:00. Not only was it ready on time, our party tray, special sandwich, and salad were travel-​ready and came with all the necessary condiments and utensils on the side. All of the ladies were so happy to hear they were getting Beach Hut for lunch, totally satisfied after they ate, and my wallet and ego were in fabulous condition! Patting myself on the back for looking to Beach Hut for my catering needs! (And, of course, my daily sandwich needs). Thanks again, Beach Hut!

At first I thought the employees were rude… but the last few times I have been in to eat here they have been more pleasant. Food is yummy!

30 min on a Saturday afternoon for a sandwich? Not okay.
But…they do have cold beer. The girls that work here are nice just a big slow today.

Worst Beach Hut Deli ever! I waited nearly an hour for 3 sandwiches only to get home find that they were not what I ordered.
I realize that they were swamped with a lot of orders, but the 3 girls working the counter need to learn to manage their customers’ expectations. If there’s going to be a long wait, tell me that and give me an estimated time. Don’t just give the excuse that your manager decided to leave early. I paid $ 30 and waited an hour for 3 sandwiches that weren’t even made right! That’s ridiculous and now I’m even more upset at myself for giving them that hour. I should’ve asked for a refund and grabbed a pizza next door at Steve’s in that amount of time.
So sad, Beach Hut… You make a really good sandwich, but with such poor service, I won’t give you another dime or another minute of my time. :(

Major fail. Sitting at beach hut right now, 30 mins and counting… still waiting for food… This place has awesome sandwiches, but it takes so damn long for these girls to make them. «Sorry we are busy», they don’t even know what busy is.
Worth waiting for, if you have the time to kill. Otherwise, pick another sandwich shop.

Hater are gonna hate. Boo Hoo, the high school girls here can be, well, high school girls. Who cares? They may bitch about having to make some of their amazing nachos, but not once have they refused to make them or anything else that I order.
This is hands down THE BEST SANDWICH SHOP IN CALIFORNIA. Just look at the pictures of the sandwiches on here, they are works of art. I’ve never had a better sandwich in my life and I get around.
They don’t skimp on the meat, the produce is fresh and delicious, they put CREAM CHEESE on their sandwiches… CREAM CHEESE!!! Not to mention, their bacon is amazing.
In conclusion, stop complaining about the annoying girls and talk about the amazing food. In all fairness I’ve never been annoyed by the girls. You must try this place out or your life will by unfulfilled!!!

I am a serious beach hut fan. There is just really no other sandwich place that compares. Why, you ask?
— Bacon and cream cheese is a standard on most of their sandwiches
— They have 3 size options, with their smallest being enough for my husband and I to share
— They have nachos, which also come with bacon
— Beer! They carry Loomis Basin Brewery Alohawk and they have a large size
— The décor is fun. Its beach themed and depending on how much of that Alohawk I drink I might forget I’m in El Dorado Hills and think Im at the beach
The cons:
— This place makes me fat because, despite the fact that I could split a sandwich… I dont
— A simple sandwich run becomes a half day event. Not really but geez… this location has the slowest sandwich makers EVER

The Beach Hut Deli is an awesome place to go if you’re craving a good sandwich. My family and I all ordered different sandwiches from the menu and we all loved what we got.
Here’s what I ate up:
— THE MALIBU: Hot, chopped pastrami and swiss on toasted garlic cheese bread with mayo, italian dressing, and avocado.
The Malibu sandwich was delicious! It was served to me on a frisbee and came with lots of pastrami! There were also chunky pieces of garlic incorporated into the perfectly toasted bread. The avocado, cheese, dressings, and other components of the sandwich all went well together.
The staff members at the deli were all female and very friendly. However, they forgot to make one of the sandwiches my family ordered and service was a little slow.
This is definitely a place for teenagers or college students to eat and hang out. There were a good number of young people studying here while eating their sandwiches. The deli seems like a chill place to spend time with friends. It has beach-​theme décor, Hawaiian style music, TVs, and a dart board.
