Saw a posting about Texlahoma BBQ being open Wed and since I was in Edmond and I did need to eat I decided to give it a try. Got the 2 meat for $ 12.00, Brisket, Ribs, Mac & Cheese and potato Salad The two ribs was very small, they did pull away from the bones clean with a tug, both had a small smoky flavor to them. Over all not bad, just wish they would have been larger. Then I got to the brisket, first it was slice almost a quarter inch thick. It did have a nice smoke ring on it, BUT it did not have any flavor. But it was very moist. Could not do a good pull test because it was so thick. It did want to crumble. The homemade BBQ sauce was very good The two side was ok, but not great. Service was great and the staff was very friendly. My test: Tasted vs Portion size vs Price: I give it a C+ Using a friend«drive test» would I go from Norman to eat there? NO! For me it’s almost the same drive time to go to The Butcher BBQ Stand in Wellston get great BBQ with a Meat Locker for not much more money And have a ton of good BBQ

Tried Texlahoma Bar b que for the first time tonight and loved it. Had the pulled pork sandwich with okra but also tried the beans, cole slaw and potato salad. Loved it all. Others with me had the ribs and said they were very good. Prices very reasonable. Service was great and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend!

Tried tonight because it is close to the house. The price was fair, but the portion size was small. I couldn’t eat my pulled pork because it was too smokey. The polish sausage was very good, all the sides were tasty, and other meats were okay, not so overwhelming smokey. Also order two dinners and received only two small containers of BBQ sauce. Service was very good.
