Target

This Target is okay, but not good. Inevitably, a few times a year, there is someone in my life that is getting married or having a baby and they register at Target. I go here to find the cute baby item I saw on their list or buy that set of wine glasses they registered for, supposedly at this location even, and it is not on the shelf. I wander, looking for an associate, using the red phone, give up, walk to the front, ask for help, and they say, «Oh, yah, it’s out of stock.» This has happened multiple times. The shelves look a little bare and sometimes disorganized. They haven’t ever offered to order the item, or advise me where to go online — it’s kind of like the minimum level of customer service they could possible give is to utter that the item is not there. Maybe it’s a corporate strategy to drive their online sales up (I joke).
The store has a Starbucks, and some groceries, and of course a lot of that Target goodness. The produce looks a little old to me when I have given it the once over.
