This place is great for the price and the staff are friendly and really helpful. Try the Italian ice you will not be disappointed. They even have benched on the outside for family seating that is covered so you’re out of the heat.

Great Italian ice. There’s a reason this chain of tiny Italian ice stores is successful. Their stuff is a delicious treat with little morsels of fruit in it. How could you go wrong?
My «go to» flavor, cherry, hit the spot yet again!
My server quickly got my order and rang up my transaction as though she did it a million times before (or maybe she’s a fast learner). If your transaction takes more than 3 minutes, you either have a large family, lost a bet to buy Rita’s for all your friends, or need counseling.
You can’t go wrong with a refreshing Italian Ice treat at Rita’s!

This is a staple on a hot day. The Italian Ice is sweet, cold and refreshing. I feel like a little goes a long way and usually am feeling pretty full by the end of the cup.
The gelati is super creamy! You can mix the italian ice with the gelati for a whole new experience. The flavors during this visit were not as varied and awesome as I have come to expect. However, just wait a week or so and they will change.
They have a small seating area with benches on the side of the shop to enjoy your snack. At this roadside stop, it’s just as easy to take it with you.

Coming from the midwest, I don’t come across very many Italian Ice options, so you can imagine my excitement when I tasted my first gelati!
What I love about Rita’s is there is always a good selection of flavors. Juicy Pear is my favorite of this summer. Also, Swedish Fish is known to pop up on the menu. Usually, we don’t have to wait too long in line, but as the days get hotter the line gets longer.
Rita’s is the perfect summer treat!
