Very nice place. Locals only know about it. Sandwiches very good. My fav is pickle jar Ruben sandwich. Fresh ingredients.

Had the A&M with turkey added. they were out of wraps so I had it on there marbled rye which turned out to be a blessing in disguise’s. Everything seemed fresh and well-made. But like so many places they are so disorganized. No communication among the staff, had to wait for almost 20 minutes for a simple sandwich, and in like some of the other posts, two little pickle slices. Pick up your game and pick up your pickles and I would give you five stars.

I had the Nat Attack roast beef sandwich and a(very) small cup of clam chowder. The chowder was served hot and was very tasty. The sandwich components(bread, meat, lettuce, tomato) were all of high quality. The bread was especially fresh which is a good thing because it makes up about 85% of the sandwich. The sandwich is served with a rather dry potato salad devoid of salt, and 2 slivers of pickle that needed another month in the jar. I would have rated much higher, despite the lack of meat, if it weren’t for the price. After spending $ 12 I was still hungry.

Good sandwiches, good meal deals — affordable. Only small negative since it has pickle in the name I’d think they would sell jars of pickles and/or have more pickle related food(deep fried pickles maybe?) and/or have more variety of pickles to get with your sandwich. Sometimes the pickles are still more in a cucumber state than an all the way pickle. But the food is still good and I will return.

I stumbled across this place while driving down Rt. 5 coming back from Enfield looking for a non-chain lunch place. Loved this place as soon as I walked in. Very cute dinning area. You can grab a table and they’ll come take your order or you can order at the counter then grab a seat. I had the wrap, with mozzarella, spinach and tomatoes and added sliced turkey to it.(sorry forget the exact name) It was supposed to have roasted red peppers on it but they were out. No biggie-still very yummy! Everyone was super friendly and I love finding these local spots.

My harvest grilled cheese was abdolutely delicious, but more than 8 chips and 1 tiny pickle chip would make for a 5 star rating!

I had the grilled ham and cheese with tomato special for $ 7.50 it was good but not worth the price. Small handful of chips and 2 thin Pickle chips? The name is the Pickle Jar Deli, I would expect at least a Pickle spear on the side lol. The sandwich was fresh and tasted good. $ 5.50-$ 6 at most should be charged for what you get. Adjust the price accordingly for what you give out.

this«sandwich only» spot does breakfast on Sunday mornings. had breakfast here this morning… have had lunch here many times. the two ladies who run the place are nice and deserving of your support. food is quite good… maybe a little high priced… its almost like stopping into someones personal kitchen. place is very small and a little hard to find on busy route 5. seems like many of the customers are friends with the owners. hope they survive as its never very crowded. food is tasty and way above average… give them a try!

The sandwiches here are very very good. I get the turkey with swiss on wheat, lettuce and tomato with spicy mustard! SOO good. And its a big sandiwch. Their homemade pasta salad is very good too. Lots of people order the reuben style sandwich, or the one with the coleslaw and they look amazing as wel. The only issue is the price… $ 750 is a little steep. But its good to know that you are eating good homemade food. So its wrth the extra $$!

Small local joint tucked away in the plaza behind Pascos. This place is cute good for sandwiches but like the rest of the delis they charge a wee bit more than what you should be paying for a sandwich in a box. I go the O’Ryan — chicken salad on wheat with couple slices of tomatos, pickles, bacon and lettuce. I can purchase a pound of chicken salad at grocery for almost the cost of the sandwich and the rest of the ingredients to make a week’s worth of lunch. Any ways — good sandwich, wouldn’t mind going back there to try others, but I’d consider other options for $ 6 – 8
