It’s a great diner serving breakfast and lunch. You want a relatively inexpensive hamburger or stack of hot cakes? Then Jimmy’s will fit the bill. Great hot coffee in endless supply. Go you will not regret it!

Breakfast was unexciting, but filling. Good prices and friendly wait staff. My new favorite breakfast hangout.

Great place. Nearly impossible to find, but worth it. Whenever I’m in the area for breakfast this is where I go. The food is great, staff is very good, and they don’t take plastic, so make sure you have cash on hand. I usually have an omelette of some kind and they are made well, served warm, and with a large portion of hash browns on the side. They never advertise and will likely never need to. You may have to put in a little effort to find this place, but it’s worth it!

Jimmy’s has been a local breakfast joint for years, a hidden gem. I always get great service and wonderful food for a great price. Biscuits and gravy are always my favorite as they are all homemade! They only take cash so be prepared for a $ 5-$ 10 meal and enough for a tip.

Came here for the first time, and will definitely come back. The wait was not bad, service was good, but the eggs, sausage and hash browns were excellent!

I loved Jimmy’s until I ordered breakfast to go. I was so disappointed in the quality of food I haven’t been back.

The food was ok. The service was terrible. Good service can save a mediocre meal. Small portion for the garbage omlet. I wouldn’t return.

Had heard from a couple friends Jimmy’s was a great place to go for breakfast. So today we decided to give it a shot. The place was about half full when we were seated. We waited 15 min before she brought us menus and coffee. Very small portions and over priced for the quality. Had to ask for more water twice. Finally got it just as we were leaving. Terrible service and mediocre food. Will not be returning.

1st time here, locals recommended it. It’s just a simple diner which I understood. I go out for breakfast in the local area and today thought I would try Jimmy’s. It was not good at all, very disappointed. I ordered a «garbage» omelet, I saw it was the most expensive and figured what the heck, for $ 11 it should be pretty impressive. I ordered a large orange juice, side of bacon and the omelet. Coffee quick, after quite some time the bacon and omelet came. First impression was the omelet was small, flat and hash browns were very small portion. Ok, maybe it’s really good… NOPE. Old grease taste followed by some sort of misc. fillings. no crunchy peppers, or onions, not sure what all was in it but it wasn’t good at all. Oh, the orange juice that I had to ask for twice? finally came about ½ way through my breakfast. I went to use the Tabasco sauce and it was empty, the waitress did notice after some time and said she would bring me more. never happened. So my final bill for my breakfast? $ 19.65 The best part of this breakfast? was the really good high quality whole wheat toast. I didn’t leave a tip as I thought both the waitress and the kitchen let me down. I will try them again for lunch sometime but never again for breakfast. The best quality and price so far? Rivertop Restaurant on top of the Coast Hotel and 2nd would be Sassy’s Diner. Sassy’s Diner is also expensive but for that same $ 20 you get much much higher quality fluffy, crunchy, fresh great taste. River top holds the #1 position and highly recommended. How in the world do you end up with a $ 20 charge for this?

Prompt service, great combination breakfasts, great taste and decent prices. The Parking lot is easily accessible and there is plenty of space to seat your family. Our food was made to order with great flavors and they had our food to us quite quickly even though they had a packed house! I love coming here.

Very, very good food. This restaurant is crazy busy and popular; the hype is justified, though.

First, let me start off by saying I am a waitress at a special occasion/nicer restaurant, so I may just notice things more than others, and that this was my first visit to Jimmy’s as I usually go to the Wild Huckleberry in Wenatchee. The waitress was friendly and we were promptly greeted when we walked in, and pointed to a booth. We walked back to the booth that she directed us to and it was still covered in crumbs and miscellaneous spots. The waitress didn’t follow us to the table with menus or silverware and we waited about 3 – 4 minutes to get a menu from her, by the time she brought us waters and took our order we had been sitting for about 10 minutes or more, but she had a couple of tables walk in at once so we overlooked it. While waiting for our food another table sat down who was never greeted or acknowledged for about ten minutes. They got up and left and waitresses never even noticed. I also witnessed the waitresses arguing over who would take the tables(neither one wanted them). When we finally received our food it was average and the eggs bene was overcooked. We got our check without any total on it so we added it up and added in the tax ourselves, and were never asked if it was split(we were 4 friends). One friend went to pay with a card but they do not take cards so we left cash on the table. Getting into the car the waitress ran out after us asking if we were going to an atm, she apparently hadn’t checked the table. Overall I was very underwhelmed and disappointed after being told that Jimmy’s was a good place to eat breakfast, it took us over an hour from walk in to leaving, which seemed slow for how busy it was. The waitresses might need some training in how to be professional, especially in the view of the restaurant guests.

My daughter and I came here after a weekend of backpacking. We wanted some real food. We drive around Wenatchee looking for a breakfast place but the Huckleberry place seemed too upscale for us and Sassy’s looked too empty. We found Jimmys on Unilocal.I had the Taco omelette and my daughter got the waffles and fruit. She got the hot chocolate piled high with whipped cream. The service was awesome. I never had an empty cup of coffee or glass of I’ve water. The bathroom was clean. I will be back to Jimmy’s!

Yesterday was our second visit to Jimmy’s and I know we will be back again! We are not from the Wenatchee area, and this place is hidden and we would have never known about it if were not for a local’s recommendation. We are so happy we found it. We feel like locals when we dine there — super friendly atmosphere, great portions, and great prices. Very Mom and Pop café feel — the coffee cups don’t even match — but don’t let the décor fool you — very good food! Omlettes are great and huge and the breakfast specials are a great deal — 2 eggs, a pancake or hasbrowns, and 2 sasauge or bacon for only $ 4.75! We will likely dine here every time we visit Wenatchee!

This is a local ‘dive-in.’ Not a dive but a place for locals(and anyone else) to dive in and visit around, drink coffee, eat, mess with the wait staff. Gosh! These folks treat me like I am coming home. One of ‘my’ ladies sat with my son and I and discussed weddings with us. Quaint and welcome and nice. Had a side of bacon and two poached eggs. The chef felt one of the eggs was a little hard so he sent another out. Wife and I try to go here every other Saturday and my son and I meet here as often as we can. Often.

My friends and I were looking for a good breakfast spot in East Wenatchee when we ran across Jimmy’s on Unilocal.I was surprised to find that there are not really any good breakfast spots in the area… or maybe Wenatcheeans don’t Unilocal?Anyway, being a breakfast connoisseur I thought we should try the highest ranking breakfast spot in East Wenatchee… JIMMY’S You walk into this place and feel like you just walked into Wenatchee, circa 1992. There are duck hunting pictures covering the walls, hand knitted or crocheted wall hangings and little ducks with bonnets everywhere! Hairdos and outfits didn’t move much beyond 1995 either. I ordered something like a biscuit and gravy with hash browns and scrambled eggs. Everything was really great. Our food was inexpensive and the service was so friendly and welcoming. It seems like they get pretty busy with the older crowd on weekends but it’s perfectly suitable for us youngsters too!

It felt a little bit like I was being inducted into a secret society when my friend brought me to Jimmy’s after a long-night of partying… tucked off of a side street on the outskirts of East Wenatchee, this was the perfect spot to recuperate from the previous night over a leisurely meal with friends. I also like the kitschy duck motif they’ve got going on. The prices were pretty good and the service was friendly. I have no complaints about the food– I had a vegetarian omelet, hash browns, and toast. Nothing revolutionary, but they get the job done and came through for me when I needed them. Minus two stars for not taking credit cards… but I suppose when the majority of their clientèle are seniors, its understandable that they’re a little behind the times.
