Drive thru always takes forever!!! No sense of urgency from any of the staff either.

This is the slowest fkn drive-​thru we have ever been to. It took them 8 mins per car per fkn order.

I have had many issues with this location. Whenever I ask for mint majesty they’re ALWAYS out of it. Which means they don’t order enough. I have to then drive to another starbucks to get it. Today, I noticed my grande white chocolate mocha was very light in weight. Well no wonder, it was barely filed a little more than half way! It also is VERY strong. I don’t think these baristas know what they’re doing. I want my $ back!

I just drove away from this Starbucks it was my first time there. I used drive thru & FRANNY? Assisted me I have bad eyesight so not sure lol but I left with a smile on my face he’s the reason I’ll return to this Starbucks opposed to the one closer to work & im a daily customer

Starbucks Starbucks Starbucks! What would you expect. A place to get your caffeine fix and be on your way. This place is great if you want to stop off the freeway and hit the old grind. But if you live here. That’s a different story. The car stack sucks here and quite often is blocking the traffic.
The staff is cool just like any other and the coffee food is standard. The good thing is all the police stop here too. So crime is low. A half block away though it’s on! Lol.
It’s hard coming up with original ideas on what to review here so I was thinking out the box. It’s more of a macro review.

This spot never disappoints. The long wait is because it’s right off the 60 and tons of people jump on and off the freeway right there. The manager makes a point of knowing all the regulars and they have a really stable crew who have been here for years. A favorite of local law enforcement, you always feel safe here. After school the local kids crowd here because they feel safe and appreciated. A real asset to East LA.

Beverage was delicious!!! but the wait was HORRIBLE over 20 minutes in a drive thru so not cool !!!

Worse wait time ever. I’ve never been to a slower Starbucks like this place. Will never come back.

Loooove this Starbucks! Great customer service, I came with my boyfriend and when we finished ordering, he noticed the cashier forgot to add something but one of the employees (manager I think) overheard our problem and allowed us to cut the line and add our item PLUS he gave us another one for the inconvenience! This Starbucks is the only one in the area so their lines are pretty long at times, but they really try their best to be fast and friendly

Worse service ever !!! The staff goes out of their way to make you feel like an idiot for asking why the long line. Not to mention the so called Supervisor whom happened to be worse than the cashier. I usually look up Unilocal before entering a business. I will file an official complaint with the customer service line and also demand to speak with the District Manager. Reading thru the Unilocal reviews I find a review from someone called Gonzo telling people if they don’t like it then go elsewhere??? It really upset me because if I would of known ahead of time I would wind up stuck in a drive thru for over 25 minutes I would of taken my business elsewhere!!! He’s an actual employee. Who Unilocal and literally tell clients to go elsewhere. I’ve read thru Starbucks site and they clearly state they train their employees with the best customer service not to mention Supervisors. This whole situation has turned into an even worse visit. I stay in West Covina and never literally never had to deal with this type of service. I go to Starbucks and pay the extra buck for the service and the vibe. Feeling so disappointed specially after seeing all these previous complaints and still no changes have taken place.

By far the worse Starbucks around. Slow service, rude baristas, and bring a book if you plan on going through the drive thru. The Starbucks on Soto and Olympic is well worth the extra mile drive to avoid this awful establishment. The only benefit was my wife got in a nice 20 minute nap while waiting for our order

I am a loyal Starbucks customer. Let me tell you that this location has the worst customer service… ever! Lines are hell of long and they can never get an order right. Went in today and it wasn’t that busy when I walked in. I ordered a Carmel frap with extra extra extra Carmel (they charged me the 60 cents) and there was no Carmel. I should have taken a picture of the drink. They added a drizzle of Carmel) it may seem petty, but this is not the 1^st time I’ve experienced them not getting my order right. Note: everyone behind me (5ppl) got their drinks before I did. Sad to say this is no surprise when you come into this location. Next time I will drive the extra few miles for better customer service!

There is ALWAYS a line here — both drive through and inside. Obviously this isn’t the establishments fault, but it doesn’t help that it’s located in a very cramped lot adjacent to a phone place.
Lots of people demand that lots of drinks be made. Because of this, I think many of the drinks come out way below standard.
For example, I visited this Starbucks location last Saturday. Again, there was a line so I ordered something relatively simple to get my caffeine fix; two cold brews. Easy, right? Nope. One came out a bit heavier than it should be (probably a good thing) and the other came out tasting like water. When I placed the two together, one drink was clearly lighter in color.
The line was too long and I was in a hurry so I decided to settle with my coffee-​flavored water. Disappointing.

Seriously the worst service ever do yourself a favor and never stop here. Drive thru horrible inside even worse! Will never come here again

Avoid this place, they have horrible wait times. There are much faster Starbucks out there. You’re better off going to the McDonald’s across the street or the 7-​Eleven. They have much faster service than this location.
Today I chose to go inside after seeing the long line at drive thru. I walk in and see there is no wait time to order, the person who took my order was fast and friendly. I wish I could say the same for the barista. I ordered a coffee and a passion tea lemonade, I received the coffee upon paying and waited more than 15 minutes for the second drink. As I waited for my drink, a line started to form.
10 minutes go by, I am patient considering there is only ONE barista. After I noticed he dispensed drinks to two people who ordered AFTER me, I decided to ask him how much longer would my order take, he rudely responded that he is taking orders from both the drive thru and inside and my order is coming up soon.
I understand he was the only barista fulfilling orders, I do not understand how he can’t keep the order of the drinks correct. He was clearly taking on too many orders and needed assistance.
This location clearly needs more employees, specifically more fast paced employees who will not snap at customers when they make a mistake. Definitely not going there again. I prefer to drive a mile to the Monterey Park location where the service is fast and the employees are friendly.

Disgusting!!! A big nasty roach followed one of the employees inside the store when he was coming back from outside. It’s not his fault he didn’t see it, but it is really important to watch for those things, it could become a real problem, it was huge!!! How can anyone miss that? Next time it could be a rat!!! Imagine! The service was okay I’ve had better service at other locations. Smile more please it doesn’t hurt. Thanks.
Definitely not a good experience tonight :/​we will see next time I come here often with my boyfriend’s family.

So I come to this Starbucks EVERYMORNING I seen it was a long line In the drive threw so I was like I might as well get off so I go in and while waiting in line I look at the pastries to see what I was going to get before going to work but I look closely and there were FLYS not one not two but a lot of them! Last week they gave me one from the display fridge so I asked the guy if they sold the displays (I knew they did because they sold me one last week) he said yes so I to him about the flies he was so calm like if it always happeneds and said if they have flus they don’t sell them? And didn’t take them out to throw them away or tell anyone to clean the fridge LAST TIME I COME HERE DISGUSTING!!!

I’m not kidding you when I say that this is the SLOWEST Starbucks I’ve ever been to. It literally takes them 20 minutes to make an iced latte. It would most likely be faster if I climbed over the register and made it myself. I would have time to make everyone else’s too.

Saturday morning, at 8:30am, on Feb 28^th. 4 cars ahead of me. Total wait time? 20 minutes to get to the window and about 8 minutes to wait for my iced latte with soy milk (no whipped cream, no syrup, no cinnamon powder, nothing — it was a plain and simple order, so why the long wait?). Clerks were polite, but hell, will management kindly have a separate barista for the Drive-​Thru window?!! One barista to handle the inside orders as well as the drive thru. No wonder it took so long. Management should know better, but it appears that they don’t really care. At least they could have have someone work as a floater who would be able to act as a back up barista whenever it gets busy.
Coffee and marshmallow bar are fine as they are. It was just the wait time.

Great place when you need a pick me up. It’s also right there if you need access to the freeway coming out. Left hand side. Has a drive thru sometimes it’s slow cuz people want their coffee and they want to get out fast. So if your around this location it doesn’t hurt to stop by. Starbucks if you need a pick me up.
