I took my 12 year old here last night for his first experience with wings. The boy eats about five different things so I was shocked when he loved them! According to him, the mild were the best; my favorites are the medium and the honey bbq. He also had french fries with bacon and cheese on them, or as he dubbed them«how ’bout a little fries with your bacon» fries. Our server, Jenny, was super friendly, came by with drink refills right about the time we needed them, and was really sweet and patient with my son’s many questions(and that scores lots of points with this mama). He was already talking about«next time» on the way home!

Service: negative all the stars Food: good if they actually do their jobs and get it right(which they won’t, and their attempts to remedy the situation are equivalent to handing a bandaid to someone who just got all their appendages blown off). I hate myself for coming here all the time cuz I love their wings, but it’s honestly the only thing that they can’t really mess up. Some of the servers have been lovely, generally though you will most likely have a college kid who has a hard time paying attention to anything other than their twitter feed. Verdict: will definitely be back because they have some of the best sauces for chicken wings around. But they will most likely give you many more reasons to hate humans even more than you may or may not already do.

I’ve ordered take out from this location on two occasions both times my orders were botched and the food was cold or soggy even though I sat in the restaurant and waited for it.

Making people(who would otherwise be buying drinks and appetizers) wait until 75% of their party(of 6 people) is present makes sense… but when there are 32 patrons in the entire restaurant, it seems overly asinine. #hurrdurr

I ordered carrots and I got no carrots. Wasn’t even compensated by(at least) a mild sense of Garfield the cat. Immensely unimpressed.

Moved from Grand Rapids, where my local bdubs was a 5-star without question. But this one is a disappointment. It was still acceptable when I first moved here, but now we can’t even go over break because it takes so long. We went in the other day, the restaurant was basically empty. We ordered an 8 piece boneless wing, which still wasn’t even dropped after 25 minutes. The bartender even went back to see what was taking so long. So there’s just no time unless you have a full hour to order & eat. Makes me miss my GR location even more every week.

‘ve always loved BWW. Until recently I bought their wings… that is until I drove 40 min to pick up my bone in wings and fries with cheese ans bacon… only to have them boneless… old and the fries with just bacon. I had to drive back when the manager offered everything to be fixed. I drove the 40 min again and everything seemed to be fine until they gave me a large… not two mediums so less wings. I told the waitress that I got less wings… she told me I would have to pay for the rest of the wings. I informed that I paid for more and this was a already screwed up order. After sitting there for 30 mins waiting on the chicken they came out drenched with no flavor. I gave up. That’s the end of my service.

I’m a fan of BDubs in general because it’s typically quick and you know what you’re getting. A friend and I were in Lansing last night for a show and we went to this location to grab a quick bite. It was not quick. I’ll admit, it was Thursday(which is their boneless wing special night) and it’s the one right on MSU’s campus, so it’s understandable that they were busy. My friend and I opted to just find a seat at the bar so we could get in and out without waiting for a table. As we walked in we saw a ton of empty tables — which didn’t justify the huddled masses at the front being told they had to wait at least 20 minutes to sit down. My thought is that maybe they were understaffed. Our bartender was great and gave us the best service he could given all that he had to juggle. Our food took about 3x longer to get than at any other Bdubs I’ve been to on a busy night. Our bartender kept apologizing for the wait and kept giving us updates on when we could expect our food. The lady who eventually got us our food was nice and provided us a few extra things that we asked for(ranch and ketchup) right away. So, again, the service itself was pretty good. I was pretty impressed with the staff that was there doing the best that they could. It just seemed that this place was not managed as well as it could have been. It wouldn’t have taken as long as it did and there wouldn’t have been such a mismatched empty table/line wait ratio if they were properly staffed for a busy night. Needless to say, we were late for our show.

I waited for 30 mins for a pickup order, and they realized they forgot to prepare it. They are very sloppy. No good.

Great service and very nice ascetics. One of the nicest looking BWW’s I’ve been too, my wife teases me for picking hotels near this chain. It’s one of the few chains that I do seek. More often than not wings, beer and sports are an easy crutch to lean on as a business traveler. I was there for the Rousey fight and WOW, I was never waiting or begging for a beer. The stuff kept up even with standing room only. I was fortunate enough to get there during the prelims and got a center seat at the bar. They deserve at least a 4 star for the service and cleanliness or the place. Thank you for the great hospitality.

The food is really bad. Just went here to watch a game and that’s the only reason I would go there again.

I am never disappointed with the menu or service. Beer, wings, and sports… What more could you need? Yes this a short review because I have sauce dripping from my fingers.

We needed a quick beer pre-game, and I was staunchly against this recommendation, but didn’t want to make too big of a prima-donna fuss. Next time, I will. BWW is terrible. Absolutely awful food. The service is very friendly, which is why they get two stars. There are a good number of beers on tap. We got the fried pickles, which had all the personality and flavor of dried cardboard. I needed a salad, so I got the Asian chicken salad. The chicken was«dressed» with a punishingly spicy, sickly sweet sauce, and then paired with some ginger dressing that completely clashed it. The greens were slightly wilted. It was just a terrible salad all the way around. It sat in my stomach like a rock for a few hours. I know, one should order wings here, but I had a terrible bout of food sickness from wings a week previously(and I’ve had the wings here previously, they are also terrible). If you just want a place to watch the games, have some brews, and don’t care what your food tastes like, give it a try.

The new setup sucks. It feels just like every other BDubs. This place was a gem, now it’s an «if I’m in the area I’ll consider it.» We’ve been coming here for years. Loved that it was a buffalo wild wings that felt like an actual bar. Now it feels like every other corporate store. I would only recommend this place if you have no idea what you want from any other restaurant in the area.

Well… It’s a bdubs. Not a bad place to watch the game(s) and pretty consistently mediocre food(boneless wings w: 70% crust/soy protein, same sauces, etc) Specifically, I have to say good things about the service here. Most of the waitstaff is students, but everyone I’ve had is understanding and friendly, if only a bit overworked. One tip — they’ve been running a lunch special where there’s a 15-minute timer on your table. If you don’t get your food in 15 minutes, you get a lunch coupon for a free lunch! As a frugal student getting 2 lunches(and sometimes dinners if there are leftovers) for the price of one is nice. Not sure if this is specific to this location/seasonal, so hop on it before it’s too late!

I love this Buffalo Wild Wings, and have been many times in the past. As an MSU student, I went for every single home game with my family. As an alumni, I don’t get to go back as often, but look forward to the times I do! The manager Aaron ruined my last visit though. Isn’t customer service one of the first things they teach you as a manager? I arrived to meet my dad at game time, who had been waiting for a table to become available for 30 min, and at that time there was no line. By the time a table cleared up and we sat down, there was quite a line outside. Apparently they had started taking names, and Aaron asked us to leave because we weren’t on the list. We had already been served our drinks at this point, and were looking forward to watching the game at our go-to spot! I came in from out of town, as did a couple other friends, and we were all looking forward to watching the game together here. It’s very disappointing that this manager had to ruin our day there, since at that point, all of the bars were full. I hate to give this place such a low rating, because I’ve loved going there for so many years. One person can truly ruin an experience though.
