Used to be good and fast. Must have changed hands? I ordered chicken stir fry and got chopped terriaki chicken in a bowl of cabbage. Literally no other vegetables. Too much money, service was slow and he was only cooking one dish at a time. I won’t be back!

My favorite here is the Beef Yakisoba. They also have a family meal which is wonderful but I think ordering in you actually get more than for take-out. It’s a very popular place here in Duvall and had been around for years. Prices are comparable to other Teriyaki restaurants.

My favorite place for teriyaki. Usually get the chicken and pork combo. Haven’t had any bad experiences here and the portions are good size.

The man is a fantastic cook and I have never been disappointed with a selection. His egg rolls are easily some of the best I’ve ever had, and it’s so hard to find proper whole grain rice but theirs is amazing. On the down side it is very often a one man operation when it’s painfully obvious that he needs at least three people. Sadly, most of his employees tend to be high school students that leave when they realize actual work is involved. Some of the best Asian food in the valley, I have no complaints about this restaurant, other than the inconsistent service.

I’ll be brief. The food was ok. The wait was beyond acceptable and I won’t be back. The guy cooking had about 12 orders and could only cook one at a time. I’m sorry but this isn’t how it works in this style of restaurant. The restaurant appears to have been painted by a bunch of girls on ecstasy with rave music blasting.

I like their food but the woman doesn’t speak or understand English very well. I ordered take out and when I got the food home half of my order for 8 people was missing. Yes I paid for the 8 meals but only received 4. When I called the woman played dumb or maybe not. She wouldn’t give me a refund or credit my Visa. I liked their food but I do not their service.

Stopped here to pick up some lunch while waiting for my brother to get off work. I ordered chicken teriyaki, and it was a huge portion with plenty of sauce. So many places go weak on the sauce, so this was refreshing. I never eat the salad that comes with it, so I can’t speak for that. I ended up eating half and gave the rest to my brother. Both of our bellies were very happy. :o)

I love this place, it is good, quick teriyaki for a good price. I usually get either lunch or dinner takeout once a week and the gal who is at the front is very sweet and pleasant. I have always been happy with my selection and often find I enjoy it more than some of my previous teriyaki favorites in Redmond. A good spot for a quick, inexpensive bite in Duvall.

I concur, this is the best teriyaki in Duvall, although when I have the time, I head to Toshi’s in Redmond. Otherwise, Happy provides a satisfying meal at a fair price. The beef and the chicken breast teriyaki are both good, with large portions. The surroundings aren’t all that welcoming, despite the best efforts of the waterfall(I’m still searching for the bay), so I usually consider this a take-away restaurant.

Definitely the best Terriyaki in Town. I have had better but definitely much worse. Good value for the money. Their side salad could use a little help and the customer service is not the greatest but who eats it there anyways!

«meh» Typical teriyaki place, typical food, nothing special here. If I want teriyaki and don’t want to drive more than a mile, I go here. The food is good, not particularly interesting or exciting or anything, but it’s decent quality stuff.

Happy at the Bay is comperable to most of the Teriyaki places in the area. The main teriyaki dishes are fine, the gyoza is always overcooked to the point of being dried out, but the food is generally decent. This is one of the two teriyaki take-out restaurants that we routinely frequent(Miyako’s on Redmond Rdge is the other), but it is more a matter of convenience than because we think it is special.
