I love everything about this place from the owners to the staff to the food. I have yet to have a bad experience. Thanks for all you do! Shout out to the bartenders/waitresses allways welcoming and nice!

There’s not too much to tell about the revised Durham Pizza. Sharky’s is a friendly, quaint environment, fit to visit for a slice of pizza or some general American cuisine. The pizza isn’t bad, definitely passable. I wouldn’t dare call it fantastic or anything, but who doesn’t love some decent pizza now and again? Nothing to seriously complain about. As far as the Mediterranean food that they serve on the side,(and at this point, off the menu) meh. It’s not bad by any stretch, but Durham has better alternatives. I know it’s a new devolpment for them, so I’ll come back and try the falafel or hummus again. Good place to bring your family for a quiet meal that doesn’t disappoint. Cheers!

«Revision to old Durham Pizza Kitchen» Been here twice since it changed over from the«Durham Pizza Kitchen»… once today and once a little over a month ago. The menu actually hasn’t changed that much– it’s still mostly pizza, American dishes(seafood, steaks), and American Italian dishes(lasagna, etc.). They say they have Lebanese dishes, but they’re not listed on the menu, so these must be sporadic at best. The name is a little funny, but they explained to us– they intend to expand soon to have both the restaurant section and a pool hall(the«8»). Positives: + Service. Always very friendly. Sometimes they do seem a little understaffed– one person basically trying to handle many tables, but they always do a decent job. + Price. Pizzas are pretty cheap. + Kids/«Smaller appetities» menu. Numerous options for those who may not want a huge meal and want to pay a slightly lower price. Neutral: +/-Quality. Good. Not the best pizza by any means, but a step above Domino’s for sure. +/-Speed. Again, good. We got 2 medium pizzas today, and it took 20 – 30 minutes. Negatives: — Atmosphere. It’s bright but not warm, almost like a grocery store. Other diners seem like regulars, and I occasionally perceive(perhaps unfairly) a weird vibe from them of «What are YOU doing here?» But that may be in my head. Synopsis: We like this place for its convenience, solid food, good price. A-OK in my book.
