Had a great meal when we stopped in for lunch, a bit on the pricey side of things. But the food was wonderful, the potato salad could be cut up in smaller pieces, it was a bit chunky. Would recommend you come by and give it a try.

Never disappointed, ever. Staff accommodating and pleasant. Food is fresh, and the owners are working there everyday. With a smile… Thanks Nosh.

Tasty! Came here for brunch with my girlfriends. Very chill environment and very good food. The grits were amazing!!! The cinnamon raisin bagel was good too. Not too expensive but they close at like 3 so get there early. The line can get a little long, but it moves quickly. I’ll definitely be back soon.

I really wanted to like the food more than I did because the service and space are so nice. The people working here were super friendly and happy to be there. That matters a lot to me and is really what I liked about this place. The food, unfortunately, was a big miss for me. I have tried several things here: the Owen’s crispy chicken sandwich and the deluca panini. The chicken sandwich wasn’t bad but did not come on a Kaiser roll and the cheese and dijonaisse were not detectable. It did come with the slaw that I put on there but without enough cheese or condiment it was pretty dry. The deluca was described as a panini but it was doughy like a calzone. It was mostly dough and the filling was hard to get too with the undercooked calzone type wrapping. I wasn’t able to eat much of either of those sandwiches, I tried the pasta salad and it was probably one of the worst I’ve had. It consisted of little more than some rotini with a minuscule of some substance stuck on some of the pieces. It took me a minute to even realize it was supposed to be the pasta salad. So, for me the three stars goes to the service. I do think maybe I could find a winner on the menu but it’s hard to say if and when I would be back.

Pros — nearby, and quality food for the price you pay, different variety. It’s a little different from your average place. Cons — can be a long wait ******Blueberry Cobbler milkshake IS A MUST******* it’s so so good and tastes so fresh and«clean» Recommendations: –Blue cheese and steak pizza(it’s called the SRP) –Shoaf’s toast(French toast with peanut butter and bananas) If you’re new to nosh and want to try a little of everything try out«Carey’s half and half» or the«try nosher» if you don’t know what you want!

First review, but had to — I had an exceptional time. Came here for dinner and had the brisket. Food came out fast and it was delicious! I saw several burgers/sandwiches come out and wanted to taste them also! Fun vibe to the interior but I sat on the patio because it was a nice night. I could see where it would be great for lunch or breakfast. Very nice! Will be back with friends!

Everything here is delicious! Killer smoothies. Great burgers and sandwiches. And don’t miss dinner! Their brisket is to die for, the pork loin is perfectly cooked, and the rotating flatbreads never disappoint!!!

I am definitely a fan of Nosh. When dining in, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I love the supply of board games — they come in handy if they’re busy and you have to wait a bit for your order. As for the food, I have not had a disappointing meal yet. Primarily, Nosh is my local go-to for catering. Delivery is always on time, the food is always delicious and Memo(the delivery drive) is a gem!

If you are looking for a good size breakfast for a decent $ stop by this place. Upon your arrival you will be greeted with a smile and small conversation which was a highlight I enjoyed while stopping by from out of town. They were very patient while I looked over the vast menu to make my selection… SOMANYCHOICES!!! I immediately field my coffee cup with a hot and delicious cup of Joe. I am not positive where the beans were from but they were very good which hit the spot on a cold morning. Food: The portions were large and the food was fresh and hot. The pancakes were fluffy as can be and the bacon was crispy just as I had asked for. The fruit that accompanied my breakfast was freshly cut and crisp. Before I left I had asked for a cup to go and the person quickly obliged so I could have one more cup of heaven before I left. I will be back when I am back in the area… THANKYOUFORTHEGREATSERVICEANDFOOD!!!

Update: Nosh is my top go-to in Durham for breakfast/lunch. I’m probably here multiple times a week :) The staff are amazing and always friendly, and the food is consistently delicious and copious. Mm, breakfast. And the soups are ALWAYS good. Oh, and the banana chocolate chip muffins are my fave. This updated review is also for Nosh’s work atmosphere. Most of my dissertation was written on weekday mornings at the big wooden table in the back corner, while drinking lots of coffee and rocking out to 1990s jams. The free wifi network exists, but is not the most reliable(which is actually good for reading/writing!). I usually tether to my phone if I needed the internet. Anyways, thank you, Nosh, for getting me through my PhD!

Nosh is on food points, which is great for Duke students who want to order in. They have great, light food for those days you don’t feel like eating a heavy meal. That being said, I ordered a the Rascal’s Razzamatazz burger, which had caramelized onions, lots of sauteed peppers, and tomato sauce on it. I really liked it! I thought the tomato sauce on a burger was new and really good. I also got the curry couscous as a side, which is always good. I like the raisins in it.

In Durham to pick up tickets for Duke-Indiana hoops contest and came across Nosh. Very pleasant ambience with an eclectic menu. Aaron was a very friendly and helpful employee. Ordered the daily special, BLT hamburger and a side of potato salad. Both offerings were very good. Reasonably priced. Enjoyable experience.

I came here while visiting Duke and grabbed a quick bite to eat. I wasn’t sure what to get so I decided to go simple: bacon, egg and cheese on a biscuit. It’s a pretty sizable sandwich and the biscuit was tasty. The bacon was a little lacking for my tastes: 1. not enough bacon and 2. not crispy enough. There was an exorbitant amount of cheese on the biscuit which was delicious, but I’m pretty sure my cholesterol went up by 5,000 points just because of that sandwich. I’d come back again to try some other food, but the biscuit sandwich was fairly tasty.

I love Nosh. I eat here on a weekly basis. You can get breakfast until 3pm — Um yes! The food is plentiful, tasty, unique, and satisfying. The customer service is always excellent as well, which makes the largest different. LGBT Prideful as well, which totally matters! Overall great :)

A friend suggested we check out this spot for some Sunday brunch. I order one of the specials for the day and they accommodated my vegetarian request which was great! Pancakes were amazing! Potatoes are seasoned very well. Portions are large! My friend had the biscuits and gravy which she enjoyed very much. The staff was friendly, though keep in mind this is a pretty self-service type place.

Sometimes I come to Nosh just because I’m nostalgic from when I came here for the occasional brunch in undergrad. My favorite thing to order here: BISCUITS! I had a pork sausage biscuit here yesterday morning for about $ 4 and it was much more filling than I expected. The texture is just right – not as greasy as Bojangles(although I do love Bojangles biscuits, in their own way), slightly crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. I ended up saving 1⁄3 of it for my husband because I couldn’t finish it. My friend ordered Maggie’s Scramble: eggs with onions, peppers, portobello mushrooms, cheese in a tortilla, served with a side of potato chunks. It came in a huge portion and she, too, brought half of it home to eat later. Important fact: they serve breakfast here until 3pm! My coworker loves to order the flapjacks for lunch! The order numbers all have a photo of the animal shelter dogs that are up for adoption, which is super cute. Nosh has a variety of desserts/brownies for sale, and plenty of tea/coffee/cappuchino/chai latte/smoothies/milkshakes. My friend tried the iced Rocket Fuel(Counterculture coffee) and thought it was decent. Weekday lunchtime can be quite busy, although I don’t usually have to wait in line for more than 5 minutes or so, and there’s at least a few tables open at any given time. The outdoor seating is nice for people watching. For lunch I usually get the Carey’s Half&Half(sandwich and soup). The last time I went, the chicken salad sandwich was a little dry… but the soup(I think it was tomato) was amazing! All in all — great ambiance and convenient for grabbing coffee, brunch, or lunch!

This is always go to for me as its downstairs from my work. I love that it’s a small business and they use local ingredients. The staff is incredibly kind and since I’m a regular, know me by name and make my coffee the way I like it without even asking. Recommendations: Rocket salad with chicken Sweet potato fries Boo’s BLT Owen’s Crunchy Chicken Sandwich Tip: If you are planning on taking out, call and order ahead of time. It can get crazy busy there during lunch hour!

Been here twice in less than 24 hours. Had the BLT the first time — the bacon is to die for! 2nd time around I got the Maggie’s Scramble and my lunch mates got the Shoaf Toast and the Piper’s patties. Everything was extraordinarily great. The Rocket Fuel coffee is smooth and flavorful and has me almost vibrating. Some of the best food I’ve had in a long time! Very cool décor — great service. Will drive to Durham to visit this place long after camp is over!

With industrial décor underpinnings it reminds me of a sandwich shop decorated with inspiration from Chipolte, but the found art and bold colors adds charm. I stopped being a hipster when it became cool, but this place brings me back to my roots. The prices might even make my old hipster wallet crack a smile. The pasta salad seemed like it was missing something but the deLaca tasted clean and simple and elegant. I was amazed at the cleanliness of this place. If I were to drop a sandwich here, not only would I still eat it, I’d like the sauce off the floor.
