It’s interesting to see all the recent reviews are saying the same thing…
Have always been a huge fan of Papa Johns, however this location is awful! Ordered from them 3 times total, past 2 times the pizza was very subpar. Gave them a second chance after the first awful pizza, allowing for a mistake.
This past order, along with stale looking pizza, we got a rotten banana pepper. Yes, rotten! At first we thought it was possibly burned, but no…
How bad/​dirty does a restaurant have to be to allow a pickled banana pepper to ROT and then not even notice and serve it to a customer???
There are several Papa Johns around Durham and Raleigh, stay away from this one!!!

Worst place ever, I order pizza at 10am thought everything was taken care of. Come 1130am still no pizza and called them back they never put my order in. So I ordered again I didn’t get my pizza til 130pm. Then the pizza they gave me had the wrong toppings on it. The manager wasn’t helpful at all. I will never order at this store again. I like Papa Johns pizza but this store doesn’t deserve the right to be a PAPA JOHNS. One star is too much. Good Luck.

I’m not a fan of pj but I would still give them a decent review but their service is terrible. My sister continues to order from them and received 4 pizzas in a row free because their service was so slow. I must have been delirious last night b/​c I thought ordering pj sounded like a good idea. It took an hour to get here (the estimate was 30−40m). The driver was ridiculously surly, shoving the receipt at me and expecting me to pull the boxes out of the carrier. I don’t mind helping but he didn’t hold onto it so I could pull them out. I guess he felt that I already paid the tip so he didn’t need to worry about customer service. I tried the garlic knots and they were over-​cooked.

Ordered a pizza and cheese sticks to be delivered. Delivery person came and only had my pizza. I was told that they would go back and get the other half of my order an 1hour later, no notice or call about the status. I call the store I ordered from and explains situation. I was then told the manager wasn’t aware of the messed up order until 15min prior to me calling. I will not be ordering from this location again.

There’s something about bad face to face service that truly grinds my gears. I forgot that I ordered a 2-​liter and the cashier conveniently forgot to mention it to me. Luckily I remembered it, but when I tried to go back inside the store, the four was locked amd she was eating. Not impressive at all.

Papa Johns is my favorite pizza place, well not if you count Lilly’s, But its definitely my favorite as compared to Dominoes and Pizza Hut.
I love this location, delivery is always on time and pickup is always ready within the quoted time. I do caution against getting there early! It seems like when I arrive early to get my order, I’m not sure if they feel rushed, but my pizza is slightly less done than i prefer. Maybe they are pulling out a little early so i dont have stand and wait too long! But I would keep this in mind if you’re calling for carryout! If they say 20 minutes, give them 20 minutes!
This location also has a drive thru which is ridiculously convenient!

The great thing about Papa John’s is the ability to order and pay online, then all you have to do is pick it up! We go here because it is relatively close to where we live and it’s my favorite chain pizza place. I’ve never been to the actual location, so I can’t say much for the customer service, but my boyfriend has never had a problem. If you like Papa John’s pizza to begin with, then this is a good place to get it.

Not the best in terms of pricing, they do not state their prices break up clearly. But on the lower end pizzas pretty good. Some pizzas end up being 22 $ which is NOT at all value for money
