Hyatt Place Durham Southpoint

Really nice hotel & location. Stayed over after a football game. We really enjoyed the sectional sofa & watching TV with our teenagers before crashing.
Beds were great!
Breakfast was pretty good, we got a late start.
We love NC!

I don’t really like North Carolina but with my job, I didn’t have a choice but to be here. Hyatt Place made my stay just a little bit more enjoyable. A little bit. Thanks to the free breakfast and the clean rooms. But that’s about all I remember.
I was very tired from delayed flights and what-​nots so I really wanted to sleep in. But I couldn’t… because their housekeeping staff was outside in the hallway acting like banshees and just simply wouldn’t shut up. I stay in hotels all the time due my job so I’m not being picky or sensitive to noise or whatever. I’m telling you, the staff was way too active in the morning. When I told somebody about this problem, they really didn’t care. Okay, thanks guys…
There’s an Aldi within the same parking lot and a few restaurants for you to choose from. I’ve also heard there’s a Target closeby but I never ventured out. Buy some earplugs!
