Ridiculously overpriced restaurant for mediocre microwaved food. My husband and I shared a plate of the macaroni and cheese with blackened chicken. Barely any chicken to speak of, it certainly wasn’t a whole breast of chicken as the price($ 18!!!) would have led one to believe. The macaroni wasn’t even room temperature, we had it sent back to be heated up again, when it came back it was penne pasta swimming in oil. I would have expected something way better for half the price, but certainly won’t be coming back for $ 18. Another in our party ordered a burger and said it was decent, but again overpriced. The side of cottage cheese was very watery. The waitress had a terrible attitude and acted like she hated her job. She said in a real mean voice, «Are you done with your cottage cheese now???» Will not be coming back, we hoped it would be a decent place close to home, guess not.

Every time I come here I say I will never be back. The penne pasta was not edible. The sauce tasted like it was a can of sauce they threw some pepper in and microwaved. The bread that came with it was also horrible. They called it garlic bread. But it was a cheap hoagie bun they sprinkled garlic powder and some Parmesan on top of, it was not even sliced open and toasted! The only reason I’m giving two stars is because the burgers we got were edible(over cooked but edible) In the future if I order to go food here because I don’t want to drive 20 minutes to town(I will not dine in, the service is also awful) it will be an over cooked burger.

While Digs isn’t amazing, the service is friendly and quick, especially for lunch, and the food is tasty. I love the buffalo burger, the fried green beans, and their special fried chicken sandwich. Nightly specials– burger night, pizza and wing night are a great value.

Best salad in Durango… For blue cheese lovers! Ask for extra walnuts and you’ll thank me later. Cheers!

My husband and I frequent Digs at least twice a month and although that may not sound like much, that’s a lot for us. Especially since my husband went to culinary school its hard to find a restaurant that can compare to good home cooking! But Digs does it well and the owner is always there! He and the staff are super friendly and the service is great! We have yet to have anything on the menu we didnt like! Our go to’s are the pizza, wings(sauce on the side), calamari, and sliders! ;-)

Great ½ price pizza on Friday nights. Such a good deal for really good pizza. This place also has a large selection of beer on tap. service was fast. No complaints. Delightful choice on a Friday night.

Horrible, horrible, horrible ! Service was very poor but might have been overlooked if the food had been decent, but it wasn’t. I ordered a fajita salad and long after everyone was served the waitress was still apologizing because my salad was not yet out. When I finally got it it was horrible. A tiny piece of grilled chicken sat on a bed of wilted lettuce with raw pieces of peppers sprinkled around. The Mac and cheese ordered by another in our party was inedible. I will never go back to this place again.

The food here was great, but the service was slow and didn’t go out of their way to welcome you. The prices weren’t bad for the quality and quantity of food we got.

This is a to grab a bite for lunch. There are lots of light lunch options such as salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. I wasn’t too impressed but still a nice little place to check out. It is also conveniently located near lots of shopping :-)

The wings were good. The burger was just ok. The sweet potato fries were good. They were out of a couple of types of booze we tried to order and my son objected to the fact that the pizza had carrots on it.

Best place for dinner this close to Durango Regional hospital. Swift and friendly service. A little surprised that a sign on the restaurant indicates a «wine bar» but doesn’t really have a wine selection worthy of wine bar distinction. I opted for a red blend, Apothic, and enjoyed a couple glasses(one dollar off during happy hour). Ordered the rib eye it arrived with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The meal was decent, but can’t say it was memorable. Ordered the ½ price potstickers as an appetizer… which were a little tough, but tasty. Good experience and I would dine here again should I ever be at the hospital for any length of time.

This is based off of a couple of recent visits to Digs. We have tried a few things over the course of several visits and every time we go it just comes off as overpriced, mediocre bar fare. It caters to an upscale Applebee’s crowd(is that even possible?). The fried green beans are difficult to eat a basket of unless you are fond of drowning your food in ranch. We aren’t, so that was never finished. Tried the prime rib sliders to be surprised with the familiar taste, texture, and look of bulk-pack dinner rolls used as buns. Every time I have had their sweet potato fries they come out cold and chewy. The Digs dip sandwich is rather greasy and its au jus was typical salty bullion-water. Everything on the appetizer menu is uninspired and played out American pseudo-gastropub/diner food. Last night my wife and I went to Digs to have a date night and it wasn’t very enjoyable on many levels. The place was busy and the hostess stand was slow in seating. We were able to score a booth, but it was very close to the door. The air coming from the front door was frigid. Even sitting under the HVAC there was no relief. As much as we tried to convince ourselves and each other we should give the place a chance it was just unbearably cold. I noticed a few patrons within the area we were seated wearing their coats(one lady in a full length fur *smh*). During our time hunched over the table with our coats on to convince us of extending our stay, our waitress kept walking by the table, yelling at the other tables behind or beside us. Wow, that was annoyingly loud. We decided to have a pork quesadilla appetizer and then order a take-n-bake pizza. The quesadilla was soggy, but tasted good. We were both famished so we gobbled that down without issue. The take and bake BBQ chicken pizza was underwhelming and expensive. Sparse toppings, a bland house-made sauce, and a flavorless crust is quite memorable. At $ 22 we weren’t satisfied. If you are coming in from out of town and want to taste the best Durango area has to offer you might want to skip this place. Digs in my opinion has fluctuated between a promising restaurant to something that is overpriced and sub-par. I just cannot get excited about the dishes I have had and nothing is drawing us back again. On the up-side: the staff that we dealt with on any occasion were friendly enough to prompt us to give it another go.

I don’t typically leave one star reviews. A search through my review history will verify that fact. This place was crowded, understaffed, and a zoo. Rather than wait for a table(only a quick 30 minutes!) our group of four decided to sit at the bar. Where we received the worst service possible. The bartender was a woman in her mid twenties, blonde, about 5’7″. He name wasn’t on the receipt, or I’d put it on here. She gave us the haughtiest, most passive aggressive service of all time. And it appeared as though she was doing it to the entire bar! Skip this place entirely.

We had poor service the night we went in. It took over an hour to get a salad & pizza. Once we got out food it was good, but service was poor. The server was more interested in socializing with her friends, than taking care of customers!

Absolutely the BEST pizza in Durango! We love the atmosphere! The prices are great — very fair! Tonight I had the steak tacos and they were the best I’ve ever had! Service is consistent and everything is very clean! We LOVE coming here!

I’m generally really happy with Digs. I either get the Buffalo Burger or the Fish Tacos. With that being said, my last two trips here have not been as great as they have in the past. About a month ago, my husband and mother-in-law went here for a quiet dinner and got anything but that. On top of the noise the food was extremely salty and our burgers were burnt. The Fish Tacos were bleh and the coleslaw was dry. Last night, my husband and I went to give it another chance and yet, again I find myself unsatisfied. Our server was not friendly at all, I actually felt uncomfortable when he would come around. The Buffalo burger was not on the menu and although the burgers we did get were much better than our last trip here, I found myself having to ask for items that should have come on the burger. I like Digs, it’s convenient for us, but I think I’ll wait a while to go back again.

Not the most convenient location in Durango, but worth the drive or stop if you are in the area. There is plenty of competition in Durango. This is worthwhile. Maybe 2 stars on atmosphere, but the food and friendly service made up for that. The salmon BLT was great! The appetizers were good as well. The beer was cold. It will be good when they get thier full liquor license. The service didn’t disappoint.

After tasting the pizza all over Durango this is our favorite. We used to brag about homeslice but the sauce seemed to change there. The kid pizza is the best deal around for $ 3.99 it is a legitimate 8″ pizza with 6 slices. We always order an extra one to take home for later. The rest of the menu is something we are going through with each visit. So far we have only found the desserts lacking in proportion to price. A short drive out of town and near the new hospital. Have gone 4 times in less than a month.
