So many people said this place was great so my coworkers and I gave it a whirl. I spent $ 12 on stale French bread with five pieces of shrimp and lettuce called a poboy. It was hot in this place! I mean really hot especially for a place offering a seafood buffet. We didn’t even get menus until 10 minutes after we sat down. Comes out on a paper plate too. The place is run down and servers are scarce. I won’t be going back.

Visited here with my daughter and a friend this past Friday. The food was amazing, way better than I expected judging off of the interior of the restaurant. The only reason I give it a 4 is because the interior of the restaurant is unique. I think it’s made to look like an old Cajun style restaurant. One of the employees was even walking around in knee high water boots which I thought was pretty cool. I’ll be going back. Catfish and fried gator was great!

Amazing Buffet! Pick up a copy of Coffee News weekly for fun reading while you’re there! I love the style they present as it accurate represents Cajun cooking in all of its splendor.

Great shrimp, fried & boiled, crawfish too peal, and buffet at lunch. The price is fair and place is clean.

Great laid back atmosphere and fun staff. Love the PO Boys, shrimp or any kind. Lunch specials available and they cater large parties. Great to bring 10+ people if you have a larger party to seat. Catfish fans! There is a buffet with all the catfish you could eat.

We arrived for dinner on a Saturday with a party of 5. After sitting down we waited a bit to be greeted. The restaurant was not very busy. Our server eventually asked for our order. We asked if there were any specials and she said no.(Later, on the way, out we passed a specials board) After ordering, we waited about half an hour for our meal. During that time our server only refilled our water once after we flagged her down. We were expecting a great feast for the time we had waited and the prices being charged(nothing we ordered was under $ 10). When the food finally arrived we were underwhelmed. It looked like a meal from Captain D’s or Long John Silver’s. $ 13 for 6 tiny fried shrimp, some fries and a little weird salad!!! You’ve gotta be kidding me. We were in the mood for cajun and got boring, barely seasoned seafood instead. To summarize: slow service, high prices, pathetic portions, bland food

First time visit last Friday, March 11, 2016 The place was packed, and I learned it was their opening night for the 2016 Crawfish season. Obviously they were not ready for crowd they had on hand, but the crawfish was outstanding. The Gumbo was New Orleans style 100% I was told the owner drives to Louisiana every week during Crawfish season, so everything is extremely fresh I will be definitely coming back to this little hidden jewel– For Crawfish and Gumbo, I give this place a 5 Star, the rest of the menu looked pretty basic with all the traditional Cajun selections. Went there on a Saturday night. Took forever for the server to come to our table. They were out of crawfish, catfish, and other stuff. Food was average, nothing special at all. I’m from Louisiana and wasn’t impressed. Won’t go back.

Went to buffet on a Sunday. Awesomeness. Great roast beef. Great grouper. Sides tasteed like home. I had catfish as an entrée abd it was amazing. Everything from buffet and catfist/fries tasted like like Louisiana home cooking.

Tried this tonight and loved it! I’m not into hot but love the Cajun flavors. This was the best Cajun food I’ve had since being in New Orleans many years ago. We had the Grouper and Shrimp Imperial along with Seafood Gumbo and the flavor was perfect! Such a delightful ambiance to the meal with very friendly, helpful and courteous staff. They have a buffet on Sunday, I plan on being there! Oh and the desert! The most incredible bread pudding was served after the sumptuous meal, I could go and enjoy that every day and never tire of it! Yes we will be returning often now that we’ve found this bit of heaven!

I have now eaten here 3 times and I can say with confidence… the food just isn’t good. The folks working there are all very nice, but I just won’t be giving them a 4th chance. Three strikes your out. Shrimp etouffe bad. Shrimp po boy bad. Seafood gumbo bad. Heck a plate of chicken tenders for a child was bad. 6:30pm on a Saturday night and you are out of crawfish? You are a «Cajun» restaraunt. They need to figure out what they are doing in the kitchen, or they will be out of business very quickly. Lastly, all of our clothes smelled like they had been dipped in their deep fryer. It actually permeated our car. We had to hose ourselves down in the garage when we got home. Seriously?! Fix your ventilation!!!

This place is amazing. I just moved to midtown and still make the drive out here Sunday’s for the buffet(which hey have weekdays at lunch too). I was turned on to them at an event they catered, and ever since I have been in love. Don’t let Cajun scare you if you are afraid of heat. They have so much more including amazing pot roast, delicious fried fish, and don’t get me started on the bread pudding. Definitely check them out!
